Neighbours' Pierce and Chloe hit with bombshell after wedding
Hendrix has an announcement to make.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...ing-bombshell/

Neighbours couple Pierce Greyson and Chloe Brennan have to deal with a bombshell after their wedding next month.

New spoiler pictures show the moment that Pierce (Tim Robards) and Chloe (April Rose Pengilly) tie the knot, despite a few hurdles in the run-up to their big moment.

Scenes airing on Monday, December 9 see Pierce and Chloe's wedding day arrive, but it's fair to say that nothing is going to plan.

After a conversation with Sheila Canning on her hen night, Chloe has cold feet as she fears losing her freedom once she's married to Pierce.

Meanwhile, Pierce's teenage son Hendrix (Benny Turland) has run away, unable to cope with the wedding as he has feelings of his own for Chloe.

Even though there isn't much time to spare, Pierce chooses to put his son first for once and rushes off to find Hendrix.

As guests start arriving for the wedding, there's no sign of Pierce. Chloe has managed to get over her last-minute doubts with some help from Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta), but she still can't help feeling nervous since her groom is nowhere to be seen.

In the high tension of the moment, Chloe even starts to wonder whether she has "bad wedding karma" after previously playing a role in ruining Mark and Elly's big day.

Fortunately for Chloe, Neighbours' official spoiler pictures show that she does ultimately end up exchanging her vows with Pierce.

Afterwards, the couple also plan to repeat the ceremony in Adelaide for the rest of the family.

Just when things are looking up, Pierce and Chloe are shocked to learn that Hendrix doesn't want to live with them anymore.

Pierce also opens up to Chloe about the real reason he has been absent for most of Hendrix's life. How will Chloe react?

Neighbours airs these scenes on Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10 at 12.50pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Neighbours reveals Pierce Greyson's baby decision as Chloe Brennan demands answers
Lisa's proposition has a major impact.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...baby-decision/

Neighbours businessman Pierce Greyson makes a big decision next week in the wake of Lisa Rowsthorn's baby bombshell.

Show bosses are about to introduce former Blue Heelers actress Jane Allsop in the role of Lisa, who's the mum of Pierce's troublesome son Hendrix.

Lisa turns up following concern over Hendrix's latest bad behaviour, but later sparks a unexpected situation of her own by telling Pierce (Tim Robards) that she wants him to father another baby with her.

Much to the concern of Pierce's wife Chloe (April Rose Pengilly), he doesn't immediately dismiss the idea and agrees to give it some thought.

Next week, Pierce is no closer to making his decision following Lisa's proposition. He admits that it's enticing, but he also fears the impact that it could have on his marriage to Chloe.

Meanwhile, Chloe becomes convinced that it's only a matter of time before Pierce agrees to Lisa's idea.

Losing patience, Chloe demands to hear what Pierce is thinking. He admits that he does want to say yes, but won't if it will mean losing Chloe.

Chloe gives it some thought, but later admits to Pierce that she wouldn't feel comfortable with the idea of him having a baby with his ex.

She also explains that while she never planned to have children with Pierce, the current situation is making her reconsider things.

Pierce decides to support Chloe and they prepare to break the news to Lisa that they'll be turning her down. However, another twist means that we may not have seen the last of Lisa...

Neighbours airs these scenes on Tuesday, January 28 and Wednesday, January 29 at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).

Makes sense due to circumstances.. but it'll be like when the Fresh Prince of Bel Air changed Aunt Viv. In that both Will and Jazz said something like 'hm, didn't you used to look different?', in Neighbours they probably won't even acknowledge it. Sounds like he and Chloe will break up though.

Wouldn?t it have been better just to have Chloe, Pierce and Hendrix stay in Adelaide for a few months so Fay was closer to the whole family? You can be a great actor and get the characters spot on but it?s so hard to connect to the new ones when you?re so used to the others.

Neighbours star April Rose Pengilly explains why Pierce Greyson recast was unavoidable
Don Hany will replace Tim Robards for the character's final scenes.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/nei...eyson-goodbye/

Neighbours star April Rose Pengilly has shed some light on why Pierce Greyson was recast for his final scenes.

It was announced earlier this week that Don Hany will be replacing original Pierce actor Tim Robards to film some final scenes for the character, so Tim can return to Sydney to be with his wife ahead of the birth of their first child.

The creative decision to recast such a memorable character only for his exit scenes has caused confusion for some viewers, with many questioning why Pierce wasn't simply written out off-screen.

However, Chloe Brennan actress April Rose Pengilly has now explained on her Instagram Story that it would have been too complicated to simply have Pierce disappear.

"We are so sad to lose [Tim], but we're in crazy times here, and this really was the best thing for the show and the complex storyline in which Pierce is involved (hence why he couldn't just suddenly be written out," she wrote to fans.

The actress went on: "I know it will be a little strange to have Pierce SUDDENLY be a totally different man, with all of us acting like nothing has changed (believe me, it was a bizarre adjustment for us too!), but we are all doing our best to take care of ourselves and each other and still give you the Neighbours you love."

Robards has also taken to Instagram following the announcement of his Neighbours departure to thank fans for supporting him.

"Don Hany, the legend Don Hany, will be stepping into this role," he added. "He is a legend in the Australian acting industry, and I'm sure he'll do a good job.

"I'm sure he'll smash it, and I just want to say thanks, mate. Thanks for stepping in, and I hope you guys welcome him with open arms."

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
