Till Death Do Us Part - (Danny's Revenge)

Following the sucess of my previosu 10 parter "Banged To Rights (Sam's Exit)" I have decided to do a new story, this time based around Jonny and Tina, Jake and Danny. The events of this story begin in October 06, Chrissie has been sent down for Den's murder and Jake is now gotten over her.

Part One
Scene 1 - INT. Jonny's House - Day

Jonny is sat at the breakfast table, drinking some cofee and looking at a box of old photographs. He looks at one of him and Stephanie on their wedding day. Tina walks in dressed up to the nines.

Tina: Haven't you got dressed yet? The delivery is at eleven isnt it??

Jonny: (baffled) Oh yes...I'll get myself sorted in a bit.

Tina: What you looking at?

Tina walks towards him and looks at the photo.

Jonny: I was just....

Tina: It dosent matter Jonny, i'd never expect you to forget Steph, she was a big part of your life.

Jonny puts the photo back in the photo

Jonny: Yes well you are now, and you and Ruby are all that matters...

Tina: (Teases) Oh... careful jonny i may start to think your an emotional man...

Jonny: Anyway, why are you off to this early dressed like that?

Tina: Oh me and Pat are going off for some retail therapy, the perks of running her own buisness, she can have time off whenever she wants.

Jonny: (Joking) I'll need therapy if you keep spending my money...

Tina: That's what its there for, to spend on the woman that you love, anyways im off, cya later

Tina kisses Jonny on the cheak and walks off

Jonny: Bye

The door slams shut, jonny picks up his phone and dials a number

Jonny: (into phone) Ah yes Jake, i need you to do me a favour...

Scene 2 - INT.Mental Institution - Day

Jake walks down the coridoor talking on his phone to Jonny

Jake: (into phone)...yes I'll pick it up for you on my way back...ok, cya boss.

Jake puts away his phone and knocks on a door, he enters. In there sitting in a leather chair is Jake, he is rubbing his hands and staring into space...

Jake: Alright Dan, how you doing?

Danny: (Excited) Jake! Good your here! I didnt think you would be here today!

Jake: I thought i'd surprise you...

Danny: Have you got me any prezzies? Any magazines or grapes! God Jake where are my Grapes!

Jake: Calm down Dan, you dont even like grapes.

Danny: That is not the point, im Ill, so i need grapes!

Jake sits down on the bed beside Danny, he stares at Danny.

Jake: So what are the dotor's saying? When do you think you will be out?

Danny: They dont, stupid iditos sya ill be in here forever if i dont mend my ways! But what do they know hey! They know nothing! They think I'm barking...woof woof like a dog! I'm no dog! Tell them Jake i am not mad am I?

Jake: Look, I'd better get going...I've got to pick something up for Jonny

Danny: Sucking up to satan! How can you Jake? After what he did to us! What he did to me! It's becuase of him that im in this state!

Jake: Yeah well its about time you snap out of it!

Jake gets up and starts to leave.

Danny: Dont go Jake, you cnat leave me...

Danny grabs hold of him, Jake pushes him back into the seat

Jake: Let go of me Danny!

Danny: Jake!

Jake leaves the room, and starts to cry, he ends up sliding down the wall until he is on the floor in tears...

Since Den's Body was discovered, Sharon and Dennis inherited the Queen Vic. Little Mo is still working at the Vic as a barmaid.

Part Two

Scene 1 - INT. Jonny's House - Day

Jonny finishes eating a sandwhich. He puts his jacket on and pulls out a small jewelry box from his pokcet, he opens it and looks at a large and sparkling ring, he smiles and then places it back in his pocket. The front door opens and in walks Ruby.

Ruby: Back dad!

Jonny: Hey where have you been? Tina wanted to take you out...

Ruby: Oh i just went out with Stacey, has she gone then

Jonny: Yeah, about an hour ago

Ruby: I'm just gonna get mysfle a bit of lunch then im going to go out again alright?

Jonny: Um wait a miniute Ruby, i want a word with you.

Ruby: What about?

Jonny: Well i want to ask you something, sit down.

Ruby sits down on the sofa, Jonny walks over to her and sits down.

Jonny: You know how much I loved your mother, well i want you to remember that, no matter what i will never forget her, and no-one will take her place...

Ruby: What is this about dad?

Jonny: Do you like Tina, Ruby?

Ruby: Yeah, she's lovley, why do you ask?

Jonny: Well i like her too, more than like...i love her. I mean she's been a part of my life for over ten years, we care a lot about each other. And well as long as you say it is ok, i am going to ask her to marry me.

Ruby: You're going to marry her?

Jonny: If it is okay with you, if you dont feel comfortbale with it, then i wont... so... what do you think?

Ruby: I think it's super! If it's what you want and it makes you happy, then its what i want.

Jonny smiles with relief and hugs his daughter.

Scene 2- INT.Mental Institution - Day

Jake is sitting in an empty office, the door opens and a doctor walks in.

Doctor: Sorry to keep you waiting Mr Moon, got a bit delayed

Jake: It's alright, could do with a few minutes thinking...

Doctor: I can imagine it is a lot to take in having your brother in here, but you have to understand it is for the best

Jake: Yes, just doesnt seem like that sometimes

Doctor: We're trying our best to get him better, but we have a long way to go yet

Jake: Typical of danny, always delaying things and casuing problems

Doctor: Oh we dont see him as a problem Mr Moon, mental illness is a terrible thing, and we will do our best to cure him.

Jake: Thank you, its much appreciated

Doctor: I have seen many cases like this in the past, a truamtic childhood can often lead to mental issues later on in life, i could imagine it was difficult for him...

Jake: Oh it was, difficult for the pair of us... anyway do you think he will be out for christmas?

Doctor: To be honest with you Mr Moon it will be highly unlikely, we have a long way to go until Danny is cured...

Jake has a dissapointed look on his face...

Scene 3 - INT. Queen Vic - Night

Jonny and Tina walk into the Vic, it is a crowded night, and Sharon and Little Mo are busy behind the bar.

Tina: God its busy tonight isnt it?

Jonny: The more the merrier, sit down I'll get the drinks in

Tina finds a seat next to Pat, the pair start nattering. John approches Sharon.

Sharon: Evening Jonny, what can i get you?

Jonny passes Sharon a wod of notes.

Jonny: (secretly) Put this in the till, the drinks are on me.

Sharon: Okay big spender...

Jonny knocks his fist on the bar.

Jonny: Um Ladies and gentleman could i have your attention please?

The vic falls silent as they listen to Jonny.

Jonny: As you all know, me and Tina have been seeing each other for a very long time, and i've never really showed her how much she means to me...

Jonny approahces Tina and goes down on one knee, Tina covers her mouth in delight.

Jonny: Tina Stewart, would you do me the honour of becoming my wife?

Tina: (delighted) yes!

Vic: Awwww

Jonny: The drinks are on me!

Tina gets up and kisses Jonny, the pub cheer...
