Well that very expensive lawyer was useless.

If Abi was correct, nobody challenged the evidence of the criminal private eye. The expensive lawyer should have asked for an adjournment.

And why wasn?t Abi questioned . She could have told them why she was giving the drug dealer some money. No one saw drugs changing hands either. Why wasn?t she given the right to reply?

Exactly. The judge gave Habib a dressing down for unprofessional behaviour, then allows a witness at the last minute without first informing the other side, without informing them of his statement giving them the chance to prepare and without allowing any cross-examination or rebuttal from Abi.

It was absolute complete and utter nonsense. Obviously the scriptwriters know as little about court proceedings as they do about Council elections.

Usual soap courtroom nonsense. The only thing missing was the judge threatening to remove Abi from the court room

I find it hard to believe that a decision was made based on this rubbish evidence! The witness wasn't quick enough to get a photo of drugs being handed over, yet got one with the money being given? Sounds like they are saying the drugs were given before the money. I find this VERY unlikely.

Yes and that was another thing, Imran says that Abi has a way of cheating the tests and that's just accepted by the court. If it's a known fact that addicts know how to cheat the tests, why do courts order them? And how exactly do they cheat them? Are the doctors really that stupid?
