Is it wrong that I have no real interest in the Abi storyline? Don't get me wrong I feel for her, but it just seems that all the writers can do is make her stumble from one crisis to another, what about a bit of variety?

Dev REALLY doesn't know how to take the hint from Linda does he? She did seem to be trying to be diplomatic in letting him down. No wonder Joseph wants to go elsewhere, you can see the misery on his face, there's no way that house that Chesney and Gemma are in was ever intended to take so many people, even in the days of larger families.

Abi is hard work and always will be. Kevin should understand this. Good job that she didn't adopt Jack as Kevin would have lost his parental rights

Simon Gregson couldn't act himself out of a wet paper bag.

Yes, before he started with the Fred Elliot quips in a silly voice and pulling daft faces. Steve MacDonald was once a shrewd 'jack the lad', why did he turn into a moron.

Does he though, or does he ad-lib some of that stuff? It's know that Danny Dire in Eastenders keeps shoving far more cockney in than the script notes because he's got some sort of obsession with it.

    Simon - follows the scripts

I agree I am still hoping that the writers will let him be less "dumber than dumb"
