Paddy has become more of a bumbling idiot as time has passed, I think the same has happened to Dev. I seem to remember him as being more of a straight, efficient, dull even, business man when he first appeared, now he has become this silly rambling idiot a lot of the time.

I think they have changed his character again for the better.

So, how would you describe him. To me it started on the golf course with Steve other character who has been turned into an idiot.

Steve has always been a bit of a silly bugger but he has always been under the thumb of all his wives and has never been able to really stand up for himself. He is a likeable character though and brings a lot of humour to the street, especially with all the rather serious storylines right now.
