Should Asha really have been the one to say that Mason had died. Is it not the surgeon's responsibility to do this? I only ask because because of the Jacob story in Emmerdale.

No, she made the same mistake as Jacob did in Emmerdale, one of the doctors treating Mason should have asked for next of kin, maybe Lisa as police officer involved with the family would have been ok but I am not sure

It's a job that nobody want to do so a volunteer will always be welcome

I think it was just a spur of the moment thing. She saw them all hoping Mason would pull through but she knew he was dead, so I think she felt she had to tell them so they didn't have any false hope.

    Probably what Jacob thought.

Hats off to ITV and Corrie.... the way they are showing the effects of knife crime, the effects a fatal stabbing has on family, friends, neighoburs, the whole community is brilliant, in my opinion. I must admit I have shed tears the last two episodes.

Just three comments to start off the discussion on the latest episode.

    1. Apart from all the other nonsense we've already talked about regarding Evelyn's University course, why is she starting in the middle of the academic year? Surely her course would start in September like every other University course.

    2. Is there only one ambulance in Weatherfield?

3, Why is a detective constable taking the lead in a murder enquiry - again!?

Tis a poor way to give an actor a big break from the show

Looks like it. If it had been a real emergency, they would not have been able to help Mason
3, Why is a detective constable taking the lead in a murder enquiry - again!?
Because it's ridiculous is the only answer I can offer.
