Over on Coronation Street, Sarah Platt reveals way too much to her ex-boyfriend Todd Grimshaw once the truth about Callum Logan's fate is out in the open.

Sarah (Tina O'Brien) will face fresh turmoil in the coming days as Callum's body is finally found buried beneath Gail's granny flat, which immediately turns the entire Platt family into murder suspects.

Police attention also focuses on Jason Grimshaw, as he was heavily involved in the building work at the Platt house. With a little help from scheming David, the police also start to work on the theory that Jason could have taken the opportunity to kill Callum and bury the body while the renovations were taking place.

As Jason fears that he's heading straight to jail, Todd comes out fighting for his brother and senses that Sarah is hding a big secret about Callum's death.

Determined to get the truth, Todd urges Sarah to confide in him but is baffled when she lets slip that she saw Callum's dead body.

Todd initially thinks that Sarah is just troubled and humours her by asking who killed Callum, but he can't believe his ears when she whispers her reply to him.

As Sarah reveals that Callum attacked her and she's to blame for his death, Todd gets the wrong end of the stick and believes that she has just confessed to his murder. Torn between his loyalties to Sarah and Jason, what on earth will Todd do about the dilemma that he's now in?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Friday, June 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.

    Monday (1)

Gail, David, Kylie, Max and Lily move into Carla's vacated flat temporarily following the discovery of Callum's body. Sarah is jittery about the police investigation, but David urges her to stick to their story.

The fallout continues when Gemma calls at the police station and informs DS Kerr that she knows who killed Callum. Marion blames David for Callum's demise and slaps his face. Gail also confides in a shocked Sarah about who she suspects is the killer.

Later, the police arrive and begin making arrests. As Kerr questions David about events prior to Callum's disappearance, David coolly admits that he's glad Callum is dead but didn't kill him.

Gail, Kylie and Sarah realise that the police consider David the prime suspect. But an under pressure David has the name of another of Callum's enemies for them. Who does he name?

Meanwhile, Sinead turns down Aidan's offer of a last-minute modelling job, having promised to spend the day with Chesney who's just back from Portugal.

Spotting Gemma in floods of tears over Callum, Chesney offers to lend her a hand at the kebab shop, postponing his day out with a disappointed Sinead. Sinead is miffed to find Chesney giggling with Gemma in the kebab shop, having successfully lifted her spirits.

    Monday (2)

David fills in DS Kerr on Jason's work on the garage conversion and his feud with Callum. The police arrive on the street and approach Jason. Kylie and Sarah are taken aback to realise that David put the police onto Jason.

Later at the station, Jason is unnerved when DS Kerr points out that he had a strong motive for murder and the opportunity to dispose of the body. On the street afterwards, Jason furiously accuses David of trying to implicate him to cover his own tracks. Gail and Eileen weigh in to defend their sons.

Meanwhile, Sinead knocks back wine in The Rovers and vents her frustration over Chesney. Aidan, who is working alone in the Underworld office after hours, is later startled when drunken Sinead barges in, all dolled up ready for the modelling job he offered earlier.

When Aidan explains that she's too late, Sinead bursts into tears. Aidan comforts her and she leans in for a kiss, but Aidan quickly pulls back. Horrified, Sinead flees in tears and Chesney finds her passed out drunk on the sofa at Number 5.

Elsewhere, when Norris rudely asks him to examine some loose roof slates at Number 3, Phelan turns down the measly job - to Jason's disapproval. Phelan backtracks and offers his and Jason's services to Norris. Norris points out that he needs someone who will do a good job, leaving Phelan seething.

    Wednesday

Jason accosts Sarah in the street, demanding to know what David is playing at. In the café, Todd gently suggests to Sarah that David is trying to frame Jason to throw the police off his own trail. Feeling the pressure, Sarah storms out and is aghast at the sight of a man that appears to be Callum.

Later, Todd corners Billy in the pub and fishes for information on Sarah. When Billy hints that Callum may have physically threatened Sarah, Todd surmises that David acted to save her. Billy refuses to indulge in such speculation. Todd calls on Sarah to probe her about Callum, but is thrown when Sarah asks if he believes in ghosts. Todd is astonished when Sarah suddenly flips.

Meanwhile, Chesney apologises to Sinead for leaving her in the lurch yesterday. Riddled with guilt, Sinead tells him that she was out drinking all night with Fiz. At the factory, Sinead sheepishly apologises to Aidan for her clumsy pass. Eva clocks the exchange and pushes Aidan for an explanation.

Chesney is also suspicious when Fiz lets slip that she wasn't with Sinead all night. As Aidan and Chesney make polite conversation in The Rovers, Eva can hold her tongue no longer and blurts out that Sinead made a play for Aidan. Chesney is devastated.

Elsewhere, Roy and Cathy announce their engagement to a delighted Fiz and Anna. Roy presents Cathy with an engagement ring.

Also today, Norris trains some binoculars on his roof. Phelan again offers to look at the slates, but Norris rejects the idea of employing a murder suspect like Jason. Norris is intrigued when Alastair, a customer in The Kabin, mentions he's in property and is currently seeking Edwardian-era roof slates to restore a period building. Norris realises he could make a tidy profit and phones Alastair to strike the deal.

    Friday (1)

It's Bethany's 16th birthday and Gail bans all talk of Callum for the day, but yesterday's scare continues to prey on Sarah's mind. Sarah is spooked further when Bethany receives a parcel from a secret admirer in the post.

At the same time, Todd tells Jason that he's sure that Sarah is hiding something about Callum's death. Jason has a defeatist attitude over his future, but Todd vows to get to the truth.

Later, Todd implores Sarah to confide in him and is baffled when Sarah lets slip that she saw Callum's dead body. Todd humours Sarah by promising to keep her confidence and asking who killed him. Todd's eyes widen in shock as Sarah whispers her reply in his ear...

Meanwhile, the McDonalds are enjoying breakfast in The Rovers when Tracy barges in, intent on taking Amy back to Number 1. Amy refuses and Tracy leaves, thwarted. Steve tries to persuade Amy to forgive Tracy but it's to no avail.

In the end, Michelle hatches a plan. When Michelle coaxes Amy into admitting that she does miss Tracy a little, Steve blunders in giving the game away. Amy is furious. Later, Amy is intrigued when Will knocks on the Rovers back door asking to see Michelle.

Elsewhere, Alastair loads the roof slates from Number 3 onto a truck and promises Norris the new tiles will arrive shortly. But rather than pay Norris for the slates, he drives off, leaving Norris roofless. Phelan gloats at Norris's misfortune but offers to retile his roof at mates' rates. Mary forces Norris to swallow his pride and accept.

Also, Chesney is furious with Sinead for trying to kiss Aidan. Will he accept her explanation?

Finally, when Yasmeen and Sharif announce they are going away for the weekend, Zeedan excitedly texts Rana, inviting her round for the evening. When she arrives, she kisses him passionately.

    Friday (2)

Sarah tells Todd that Callum attacked her and she's to blame for his death. As she breaks down, Sarah is oblivious that Todd believes she has just confessed to murder. Todd tries to calm Sarah, but David is alarmed to spot them talking and whisks Sarah away to Bethany's party.

Later, Billy is astounded when Todd reveals that Sarah killed Callum. Todd refuses to let Sarah be punished for her tormentor's murder, but can't countenance Jason taking the rap either. Feeling for him, Billy insists that he must do the right thing. Todd doesn't know what to do.

Meanwhile, Michelle is shocked to find Amy grilling Will about how they know each other. She quickly bundles Will out of the back door. Amy is suspicious and asks if Michelle is going to dump Steve for Will. A shocked Michelle denies it and assures Amy that she loves Steve.

When Michelle suggests she should go back to Tracy, Amy insists that if she can't stay at the Rovers, she'll tell Steve about Will. Will Michelle be blackmailed by Amy?

Elsewhere, as their kiss gets steamy, Rana leads Zeedan towards the stairs but he irritably points out that she knows he doesn't believe in sex before marriage. Rana is frustrated and Zeedan is gutted when Rana decrees that by putting his beliefs above her feelings, he's ending their relationship.

Also, Jason enters the pub to find Gemma looking miserable. But when he approaches, she furiously accuses him of murder and throws her drink over him.

Out on the street, Phelan basks in Norris' gratitude for saving his roof before meeting up with Alastair. Was this another of Phelan's scams?

Finally, Sinead explains to Chesney that her own insecurities cause her jealousy, but he thinks it's a poor excuse for kissing Aidan. When Sinead hints that Chesney should kiss someone to even the score, he storms out leaving her panicking. Chesney finds Gemma feeling sorry for herself and fills her in on Sinead's antics. Gemma urges Chesney to fight for Sinead if he loves her. Can he save his relationship?
