    Exclamation Emmerdale Spoilers 14th - 18th August 2023

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emm...hope-hospital/

Emmerdale's Bob Hope suffers a worrying health scare in next week's episodes.

The B&B owner suffers a heart attack amid the ongoing fallout from his partner Wendy Posner cheating on him.

Bob has struggled to forgive Wendy since discovering that she'd betrayed him by starting an affair with her work colleague Liam Cavanagh.

Next week, Bob remains angry over the situation, despite his initial promises to move past his heartbreak and give Wendy another chance.

Wendy is still keen to make amends with Bob, so she tries to prove her commitment by handing in her resignation. She realises that, if she wants to win back Bob's trust, she can't continue working closely with Liam.

Meanwhile, Bob's temper boils over when there's an incident with Jai's son Archie and his football outside the B&B. Reacting childishly, Bob launches the ball into the air.

Bob then spots Wendy and Liam leaving Tenant's Cottage together. The former lovers have been discussing Wendy's plans to resign, but Bob gets the wrong idea and assumes that their affair is ongoing.

Wasting no time before taking revenge, Bob punches Liam in the face and then throws the football at him.

The stunned villagers try to pull Bob away and calm the situation, but everyone is shocked when Bob suffers a heart attack.

Bob's health scare provokes a blame game in the village, with rows over who's responsible for his concerning health situation. Wendy and Liam both feel terrible over the thought that they've caused Bob unnecessary stress.

The next day, Bob is emotional as he regains consciousness at the hospital, while Wendy is relieved. Brenda Walker is also present at the hospital, where she bitterly blames Wendy for everything that has happened.

Liam pays a visit to Bob and sheepishly apologises for betraying him, but will Bob be willing to forgive him?
