Fletch is exhausted doing a double shift and the last thing he needs is for his ex-wife Natalie to turn up on AAU with her friend Bex. Both are drunk and disorderly after a night out celebrating Natalie and Fletch's divorce.

Fletch arranges for Natalie to sober up on the ward, but is shocked to learn that she has a job in Sunderland and is relocating with his children. Fletch confides in Raf, who suggest a lads night out. However, Fletch can't be placated and is worried that he'll spend the rest of his life fighting to see his kids. Later, when Nat slips into unconsciousness, Raf spots bruising on her head and it seems that she is suffering from more than just a hangover.

Meanwhile, Jonny is shocked that there's been a change to theatre schedules instigated by Guy which, in his opinion, has turned the ward upside down. Fuelled by the knowledge that Jac and Guy are an item, Jonny tackles Guy on the increase in theatre usage - but is he letting his heart rule his head?

Elsewhere, when Rachel is sick, Sacha is concerned that her sepsis isn't clearing up. She wants to do her mock GCSE, but a shocking discovery leaves both Rachel and Sacha reeling.
