Home and Away's Marilyn sparks big trouble for Logan after diagnosis
Logan's attempts to help Marilyn backfire.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...logan-trouble/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian and UK viewers.

Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers will soon create trouble for doctor Logan Bennett when she puts his medical career in jeopardy due to the changes in her behaviour.

Ever since Marilyn (Emily Symons) suffered from chemical poisoning during the gas attack on Salt, she has been behaving in unusual ways and acting out of character, causing her loved ones great concern.

TV Week reports that, in scenes to air this week in Australia, Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou) and Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) will continue to try to find a way to help their friend and they agree to keep checking in on her.

When Irene arrives at Marilyn's place to see how she is, she finds Marilyn blasting music and having a party by herself. She reveals to Irene that she is celebrating the big decision that she has just made ? she's quitting her job at the Diner and opening up her own tarot-card reading stall outside the Bait Shop.

Irene can't help but laugh at Marilyn's hasty decision, causing Marilyn to fly into an uncharacteristic rage at her.

When Logan (Harley Bonner) comes across Marilyn's stall, he decides to take the opportunity to make a secret assessment of her condition and he sits down for a tarot reading. He soon discovers that her changed behaviour is not due to neurological reasons, but could be psychological instead.

Unfortunately, the situation takes a turn for the worse when Marilyn makes an official complaint against Logan that could wreck his career. Will Marilyn push ahead with her claims against Logan?

Home and Away airs these scenes this week in Australia and early next year in the UK.

Actress Emily Symons recently revealed that having to play such a different version of Marilyn has been "the most challenging thing" she has had to do on the show, admitting that she has struggled to portray such a different version of the character that she has known for so long.

"It's a completely different Marilyn, which has been really hard to play, because she's second nature to me now," she said. "To suddenly have to create another [version of the] character... some days, I was like, 'I can't say that ? that's so horrible.' But I had to go there to make the story work."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Marilyn collapses again on Home and Away as she battles the effects of being poisoned
    ''There's something really wrong.''

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...and-away-69844

Marilyn has been pushing away those closest to her as she battles the insidious effects of being poisoned. But when she collapses again on Home And Away this week, her friends might be the only ones who can save her.

However, there's the very real possibility that the damage from the toxins is too great and that whatever doctors can do will be too little, too late.

The trouble begins when Marilyn (Emily Symons) bumps into doctor Logan (Harley Bonner), who she's filed a complaint against, at the Diner. She again refuses to listen to his explanation that he's only trying to help. The situation gets out of hand when Irene (Lynne McGranger) tries to remind Marilyn she was the one who wanted Logan involved in her recovery in the first place.

"Marilyn becomes so infuriated with Irene," Emily, 52, tells TV WEEK. "She doesn't realise she's upsetting people, and that's when people begin to understand there's something really wrong, because this is so out of character for her."

Convinced her old friend has turned against her, Marilyn storms out of the Diner, sparking a row? their first ? between hot couple Mac (Emily Weir) and Logan.

But while they're quick to make up, Marilyn is still fuming and turns to the one Summer Bay local she still trusts: Justin (James Stewart).

But he's forced to admit to Marilyn that while he understands what she's going through, he doesn't understand her anymore. It's at that moment that she realises that perhaps she really has changed ? and not for the better.

Determined to finally build a bridge back to Irene, she returns to the Diner to explain herself, but starts yet another argument instead. As things get heated, however, Marilyn suddenly loses feeling in her legs again and grabs hold of Irene to stop herself from collapsing.

The incident sees Marilyn taken to hospital by ambulance ? and leaves Irene terrified she might lose her friend forever.

Home and Away airs update on former character in latest Australian episode
    John Palmer shared the news.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...-james-update/

Home and Away spoilers follow from Thursday's Australian episode (March 30), which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has revealed some happy news for Jett James, who was last seen in the show nearly four years ago.

John Palmer was responsible for sharing the update in Thursday's episode on Channel 7 in Australia.

In a chat with his ex-wife Marilyn Chambers, an elated John revealed that their former foster child had got engaged to his girlfriend.

The revelation looked set to spark a new storyline for Marilyn as she and John discussed how to pitch in with the wedding costs.

In their chat, John told Marilyn: "He's proposed to Lindsey and she's said yes.

"I knew that this was on the cards when I was down ? they were just smitten with each other. [Lindsey's] great ? you two will get on like a house on fire."

John revealed that Jett and Lindsey had decided to go for a low-key wedding, preferring to spend their money on saving for a house deposi

Although John admired Jett for being so sensible, he told Marilyn that he wanted to give the happy couple the best of both worlds by paying for the wedding.

John hinted that money was no object to him and they could refer to it as a gift from both of them.

Marilyn was determined to pay her fair share, but soon became worried about how she'd raise the money. She considered taking on more shifts at the Diner and seeking out a part-time job ? but will she have any luck?

Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in May.

Jett was played by Will McDonald as a show regular between 2012 and 2015. He returned for guest stints in 2017 and 2019.

Jett's most recent storyline explored how he was affected after losing the use of his legs in an explosion while serving for the armed forces.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.

In Australia, the show airs Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 and streams on 7plus.

Home And Away: A desperate Marilyn turns to Alf for help
    ''She?s absolutely horrified''.

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...help-alf-77521

Trapped in a failed business venture, Marilyn takes her fight with Stunning Organics to the next level this week. Only now, she faces being sued!

In Home And Away, Marilyn (Emily Symons) and Kirby (Angelina Thomson) struggle to see a way forward in their fight with the fraudulent skincare company. On the surface, Marilyn assures everyone she has the situation under control. Inside, she's panicking.

In recent episodes, Marilyn was inundated with boxes of products to sell. Anything she didn't sell, she had to pay back to the company and, with a lock-in contract of 12 months, has to honour the deal.

On top of that, the skincare range is faulty and sent Roo (Georgie Parker) to hospital ? no-one will buy it! Rather than admit she's been scammed, Marilyn continues the lie.

"Marilyn went into it with confidence and enthusiasm, so to find she's been tricked and now has to sell all this product is overwhelming and upsetting," Emily, 53, tells TV WEEK.

"She feels embarrassed and that she's dragged her friends into something she didn't understand."

Unable to admit her mistake to Alf (Ray Meagher), who warned her about pyramid schemes, Marilyn tries a different tack: denouncing the brand in a video on social media. But it backfires when the company threatens to sue her for defamation unless she takes down the video immediately."She's absolutely horrified," Emily says. "For herself and for Kirby."

When Alf confronts Marilyn about her behaviour, she breaks down and confesses everything ? including the unsold boxes of products she's hidden and the pending legal battle. Alf is horrified, but, while he's disappointed in his friend, offers his support and advice.

"It's incredibly important to her to have Alf's support," Emily says. "It makes it a little easier for her to deal with, but it's still a pretty bad situation."

With a potential lawsuit looming and more than one friendship on the line, can Marilyn find a way out before she risks losing everything?

Home And Away: Marilyn exposes the truth
Marilyn makes a breakthrough in her case.

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...-trouble-77591

In Home And Away this week, Marilyn faces losing everything, but she's not going down without a fight.

Marilyn (Emily Symons) attempts to find other victims who have been duped by dodgy skincare company Stunning Organics after she received an anonymous threat to cease her campaign against them or she'd be sued.

Determined not to see others fall into the same trap, Marilyn turns to her friends for help. Kirby (Angelina Thomson) believes they have a case and starts to investigate all she can.

The whole affair is a blow for Marilyn, whose hopes for her new business venture have been dashed. Now, she's involved Kirby in her failure ? and disappointed her friends by continuing to lie about her plight, including her ex-husband John (Shane Withington), who could see she was in trouble.

"John is being a very loyal friend to her, and he can see that she's in too deep," Emily, 53, tells TV WEEK.

Meanwhile, Alf (Ray Meagher) and Roo (Georgie Parker) offer to track to down former employees of the company in the hope they will corroborate Marilyn's story. But despite the evidence, no-one will go on the record, thwarting their mission.

"They discover all the other brand ambassadors were tricked," Emily says. "Stunning Organics are tricking people every day into signing up. And these poor people can't get out of it."

Regrouping, the trio plan their next steps ? even if it looks like a losing battle. But just as it looks as if all is lost, they notice a product label has come unstuck, revealing a different company name. It could be just the evidence they need.

"The company keeps closing down and creating a new brand name," Emily says.

Roo drafts an email to Stunning Organics demanding they release Marilyn from her contract or they'll go to the police with the information.

Is this the end of it, or the start of something far worse?

Home and Away's Marilyn Chambers is terrorised by a skincare range in new story
    "Their tactics are sophisticated."

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...yn-terrorised/

Home and Away spoilers follow from Thursday's Australian episodes (May 18), which some UK viewers may prefer to avoid.

Home and Away has aired a dark twist in Marilyn Chambers' ongoing storyline, with dodgy skincare company Stunning Organics seemingly sending sinister threats to her.

Marilyn has been left fearing for her life after her brave decision to give a press interview about the corrupt firm had worrying consequences.

Earlier this year, Marilyn signed up to become a brand ambassador for Stunning Organics as she wanted some extra cash to contribute towards her foster son Jett James' upcoming wedding.

The partnership with Stunning Organics turned sour when one of the products caused Roo Stewart to have an allergic reaction.

Things only got worse when Marilyn realised that she was tied to a tough contract, which would see Stunning Organics deliveries arrive on her doorstep for many more months.

Marilyn also learned that the company had appeared in various guises before, changing its name each time its corrupt practices were exposed.

Although Marilyn later got herself out of the contract, she went a step further by giving a tell-all newspaper interview about her ordeal. She hoped that speaking out would help others who've been targeted by the company.

This appeared to anger some dangerous figures within the business world, as Marilyn later received a sinister phone message from a distorted voice.

The message warned: "You were warned to keep your mouth shut. Now you're going to suffer the consequences. You and your friends better watch your backs."

Marilyn went to the police about the concerning threat, but Rose Delaney figured out that it had been left by a fake number which was difficult to trace.

Rose told Marilyn: "The caller ID was tampered with, so the number you saw wasn't actually the number that called you.

It means that someone is going to great lengths to hide who they are, and their tactics are sophisticated. There are other methods we're exploring to trace the call."

Marilyn decided to hide out at Irene Roberts' home to stay safe. The house is currently empty as Irene is out of town.

However, Marilyn's mystery enemy soon struck again by throwing a brick through the window alongside a note, warning her not to give any more interviews. How much danger is Marilyn in?

Home and Away fans in the UK will see these scenes on Channel 5 in July.

Home And Away spoilers: Marilyn?s paranoia sends her over the edge
    'Leave me alone!'

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...n-danger-77709

Is Marilyn's life in danger? And can those threatening her be stopped before it's too late?

Those are the burning questions in this week's episodes of Home And Away as the campaign against Marilyn escalates.

Despite faking a calm demeanour and lying to her friends, it's clear Marilyn (Emily Symons) is in deep trouble. Her fight against dodgy skincare company Stunning Organics has gone off the rails to the point where she's now living in fear.

In recent episodes, her ex-husband John (Shane Withington) witnessed her peril first-hand when a brick was thrown through the window with a message: "No more interviews, or else."

The retaliation comes after Marilyn outed the company in a scathing article.

"It's a frightening wake-up call for Marilyn, as she realises they're prepared to go to great lengths to make her stop what she's doing," Emily, 53, tells TV WEEK.

Marilyn alerts the police to the harassment, but they're no closer to finding who's behind it. Worried for his friend, John offers to help, but Marilyn won't allow others to become involved.

"Cash [Nicholas Cartwright] has a serious conversation with her about how to deal with it," Emily says. "But it escalates in a way she never imagined."

The fear is making her life unbearable. At work and at home, Marilyn constantly checks the locks, twitching at every sound. When she hears the front door rattle, she arms herself with a frying pan and hides. The door opens and in walks? Irene (Lynne McGranger)!

Marilyn advances towards her wildly until she realises who it is and collapses with relief. Irene invites Roo (Georgie Parker) over, the pair coming together for their friend in need.

Already fragile, could what happens next push poor Marilyn right over the edge?
