- A group of travellers set up camp in the village, much to Mandy and Tony's annoyance. When they show no signs of moving on, Liz takes action... (might have known she'd interfere! )

- Mel is arrested for being drunk and disorderly at the students summer ball, but refuses to accept she has a problem... (that's what Liz needs to be concentrating on taking action on! Not some travellers! )

- Craig and Darren get carried away on a visit to a lap-dancing club.

thanks birks. i knew there were going to be some travellers coming but i didnt know that liz was going to interfere. craig and darren at a lap dancing club that sounds funny! and it looks like mels drinking problem is going to start being a big storyline

Yeah i was starting to think that the storyline with Mel was sort of getting swept away like some others do, but now ive read that, it looks like Hollyoaks are going to make it into a proper storyline.

i was getting a bit bored of her just getting drunk every night so its good that theyre actually going to do some sort of storyline on it

it would be good if they did a storyline where mel damages her liver through her excessive drinking, as hollyoaks has been criticised for showing students binge drinking as a good thing and so this would show that its not something you should do all the time, and it would make other young people aware of the dangerous affects of getting drunk regularly
