Basically, Terry borrowed money from Rick and couldn't pay him back so reconnected with his son Tommy in order to use his inheritance. Despite Tommy giving Rick his entire inheritance, the loan shark still wanted more money and Terry planned to burn down his strip club in order to get an insurance payout. Tina caught Terry in the act, they fought and she ended up in hospital. Terry claimed that Rick had attacked her and pressured Tommy to borrow some money from Tyrone to finally pay off his debt. Tommy got the money and Terry fled with it, leaving Rick to continue terrorising Tommy and Tina (which climaxed with Rita being held hostage at her wedding to Dennis Tanner!).Originally Posted by lizann
