'H&A's Ewing nominated for Bachelor Award

The nominees for this year's CLEO Bachelor Awards have been announced.

The Australian magazine's annual event, which sees both famous and unknown men voted as the favourite bachelors in the country, includes stars, musicians and sportsmen in the 2011 list.

Among the stars nominated are radio host Ash Williams, swimmer Eamon Sullivan, DJ Chris Stafford, AFL footballer Josh Kennedy, TV presenter and actor Scott McGregor and Home and Away star Dan Ewing.

Ewing recently hit television screens as surf gang member Heath Braxton and revealed that he loves the attention that female fans give him.

Last year's Bachelor Award went to 25-year-old Underbelly actor Firass Dirani, who said that he was "happy" to win the "fun and games" prize despite being an "outsider".

Singer and Dancing With The Stars contestant Tamara Jaber revealed earlier this year that she would be judging the Bachelor contest.

The winner will be announced next month.
