Nicola and Jimmy are one of my fav couples on the show along with Cain and Charity

I like Nicola and Jimmy together. Yeah she nags the pants of him but she loves him and Jimmy secretly loves the nagging.

As Cain's attempts to intimidate Jai continue to be unsuccessful, he decides to change tack and target Nikhil instead.

Relations between Cain and Charity hit an all-time low in the coming days when the hardman informs Jai that the feisty blonde used to be a prostitute, declaring that it proves she'll do anything for cash.

However, Cain fails to put off Jai - prompting Charity to gloat as she tells her ex-partner that she has no more secrets and there's nothing else he can do to drive a wedge between them.

Not one to be deterred, Cain turns his attentions to Nikhil and orders the businessman to have a word with his brother or suffer the consequences. Making sure he gets the message, the bad boy leaves Nikhil bound and gagged in a bin!

Nikhil becomes Cain's next target

Jai confronts Charity about her past and she explains that, while she's not proud of her history, Cain's behaviour is just a desperate attempt to split them up and Jai's falling for it. Later, she confronts Cain and tells him that her and Jai have no more secrets, so there's nothing more he can do.

As Charity and Jai drink to putting the past behind them, an irate Cain tells Nikhil that he needs to have a word with his brother or he'll suffer the consequences. He then leaves Nikhil bound and gagged in a bin to prove his point.

Meanwhile, Jimmy tells Carl that he fears he's upsetting Nicola, who keeps telling him what his favourite shirt is or his favourite food, only for it to mean nothing to him. They head to the church, and Jimmy is bitterly disappointed that it doesn't help him remember his wedding or anything else.

Elsewhere, Debbie is surprised at Andy's new relationship with Alicia; Jai offers Gennie a job as Nikhil's PA; Cain urges Faye to go ahead with a tribunal for unfair dismissal; and Rhona, Paddy and Marlon go to the support group meeting.


Jimmy admits he no longer loves Nicola

Jimmy goes out for a meal with Nicola, but as she tells him about her court case for biting a child, Jimmy feels increasingly uncomfortable in her company and can't return her affectionate gestures.

Later, Jimmy comes clean to Carl - saying that he's seen the evidence and knows he must have loved Nicola once, but he can't for the life of him understand why. As Carl urges him to give it time, Jimmy resolves to tell Nicola the truth about how he feels…

Meanwhile, Nikhil is furious after his night in a bin and tells Jai he needs to sort out the situation with Cain. Fuming, Jai tells Cain that he'll never get Charity back regardless of who he bullies. Jai then offers Cain money to stay away, but Cain rejects the offer.

Elsewhere, Alicia refuses to accept a loan from Andy because she doesn't want to look like a gold-digger; John resents the time that Adam's spending with Declan and Mia; and Chas is intrigued by the idea of buying the pub.


Nicola is left heartbroken by Jimmy

Nicola joins Jimmy in the pub, where he's been meeting more of the villagers and becoming increasingly aware of the amount of history he's missing. He's just starting to enjoy himself when Nicola drags him away, telling him she's made him lunch.

Soon afterwards, Nicola serves up his 'favourite' dinner and leans in for a kiss. However, Jimmy finally flips - telling her that he doesn't feel the same and can't be around her at the moment. As he kisses her on the cheek and says goodbye, Nicola's left heartbroken.

Meanwhile, Cain accosts Charity on her way to work and tells her that Jai tried to pay him off yesterday. A furious Charity then lays into Jai, claiming that she can't be bought and sold and if he goes behind her back like that again, it's over. Later, Charity publicly humiliates Cain in the pub - telling him that Jai is a real man unlike him.

Elsewhere, Alicia is annoyed when Andy goes behind her back by recommending her for a receptionist job at the vets', Chas approaches Diane about buying the pub; and Declan brings a surveyor to look around Butlers and asks Adam to keep the visit a secret from John.


Cain puts another plan into action

Gennie takes a message from a demanding customer wanting a meeting with Jai. Nikhil, furious to have received a letter from Faye's solicitors regarding her unfair dismissal, tells Gennie to pass on the message and to tell his brother he wants a word.

Back at Holdgate, Charity is thrilled when she receives a delivery of another new dress with a note telling her a time and place to meet at a hotel. Arriving in the hotel room, Charity is shocked and unnerved to discover Cain's waiting for her…

Meanwhile, Nicola visits Jimmy at the office, begging him not to give up on her and Angelica. Moved by her words, Jimmy books a hypnotherapy appointment to try to help uncover his memories. Later, Nicola is confused to discover that Jimmy was withdrawing substantial amounts of money every time he did the Peterborough run.

Elsewhere, Chas forges ahead with her plans to buy the pub, while Lisa faces her first day back at work and insists everyone carries on as normal.


Charity ends things with Cain for good

At the hotel, Cain grabs Charity - telling her that she's made her point with Jai but it's time to come home. At the same time, Jai has returned from his meeting, furious to have been stood up. He's baffled when Chas asks him why he's in the office when Charity's waiting for him in a hotel room - she realises what's happened and they race to the hotel.

Back in the room, Cain snaps and throws Charity onto the bed, pressing a pillow over her face. After a few seconds he lets her go, but they're both devastated at how bad things have become. Cain begs for another chance, but Charity rejects him and heads off with Jai and Chas once they arrive at the hotel. Knowing he's lost Charity for good this time, Cain is left broken.

Meanwhile, Aaron is in high spirits now that he and Jackson are back on track and despite Jerry's scepticism, both he and Hazel are pleased their son is getting on with life. Aaron suggests staying over but Jackson hides his feelings as he reckons it's not a good idea.

Elsewhere, Jimmy is disappointed when his hypnotherapy triggers no important memories, and he also has no memory of the cash withdrawals when Nicola brings up the matter.


Jackson stays over at Aaron's house

Aaron tells Paddy that he just wants to have a relationship with his boyfriend and heads over to Dale Head to tell Jackson he'll pick him up later.

As they arrive at Smithy Cottage, Jackson sees Aaron's bed laid out in the front room and claims that it's awkward and he wants to go home. Aaron tries to show that he just wants to spend one night in the same bed and Jackson hesitantly agrees.

Meanwhile, Zak admits to Lisa that he can't stop thinking about her and Derek, but Lisa tells him they have to be strong and not let Derek come between them. Encouraging Zak to confide in her whenever he needs to, she invites him to put his arm around her. He does so but is clearly uncomfortable, and quickly finds an excuse to get away.

Elsewhere, Jai tells Cain to stay away from Charity and that it's his last warning. Jai's unnerved when Cain tells him that he can have Charity. However, when Debbie questions Cain, we see this is far from over...
