Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor will join soap opera star Annie Ilonzeh in ABC's 'Charlie's Angels' reboot. According to Deadline Hollywood, 'Friday Night Lights' star Kelly will play the character previously known as Marisa (the name will be changed), a former Marine weapons expert who is versed in all forms of hand-to-head combat.
Taylor has been tapped to play Abby, described as the youngest and sassiest of the Angels. The character has a notoriously crooked Wall Street father and is a quite the con artist herself.
'General Hospital' veteran Ilonzeh will play Kate, a smart and athletic ex-cop who is also a martial arts expert.
Robert Wagner will voice the unseen Charlie. No word on who will play Bosley.
Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen are executive producing the project. 'Smallville' veterans Alfred Gough and Miles Millar wrote the Miami-set script and will also executive produce the project.
