Anna marks her 21st birthday - but will it be a happy one?

Peter's return to Albert Square continues to be a rocky one......

......and more importantly what is next for Ian and Cindy?

MONDAY

Cindy Beale is about to set off a bombshell in Albert Square! As she arrives in Walford, she meets up with her son Peter Beale and steels herself to face the music.

Desperate to keep Cindy from finding out the shock surprise that awaits her, Ian Beale calls Peter and insists that he get Cindy back to France NOW!

Cindy has no idea that her husband George Knight is in the Queen Vic, along with their daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight.

They know Cindy as 'Rose', the wife and mother who upped and left the family one night, never to be heard of again.

Cindy was forced to leave to ensure their safety. After turning grass on a dangerous convict while she was in prison, her death was faked and she was given a new identity.

She started a new life with George under the assumed name 'Rose' but her past caught up with her.

Now that the gangster she betrayed has died, Cindy is free.

But not from the complicated web of lies she's woven...

Stepping into the Square, Cindy knows she needs to reveal all to her ex-mother-in-law Kathy Cotton, now that she and Ian are back together.

Trying to keep a low profile, she searches for Kathy in the cafe and when she's not there she goes to No.45.

Kathy is completely stunned to see the 'dead' Cindy, not least because she was originally jailed for trying to kill Ian!

All hell breaks loose as Kathy kicks off with her former daughter-in-law, as a desperate Ian arrives in the Square.

Meanwhile, across the Square the completely oblivious Knight family are celebrating Anna Knight's 21st birthday.

Anna's sister Gina Knight has arranged for Anna to have a glam makeover at the Fox & Hair salon, while her family put the finishing touches to a surprise party in the Queen Vic.

Dad George Knight teams up with fiancee Elaine Peacock and her daughter Linda Carter to transform the pub into a Spanish fiesta.

Feeling emotional over his daughter's special birthday, George opens up to Elaine. He reveals his bitterness and upset that Anna's mum Rose has missed yet another important milestone in her daughter's life.

George exits the pub to get some air after having a moment...

Will he get the shock of his life and find his 'Rose'?

Also, Kathy Cotton learns that grandson Peter Beale is back in Walford and the pair have a heart-to-heart.


TUESDAY

George Knight is completely gobsmacked after spotting his wife 'Rose' in Albert Square!

He hasn't heard from her since she abandoned the family nine years before and George has no idea that she's really Cindy Beale!

His emotions in a whirl, George assumes that Cindy has finally tracked down him and their daughters Gina Knight and Anna Knight, as she wants to reunite with them.

But when the awful truth dawns on him that Cindy had no idea the Knight family are in Walford, he is devastated.

Equally emotional, Cindy questions George about Gina and Anna. Determined to protect them, he lies that the girls stayed in Spain when he moved back to the UK.

George insists Cindy come into the Queen Vic barrel store and tells him EXACTLY what's going on...

Linda Carter has noticed that George has gone AWOL from Anna's 21st birthday celebration in the pub and she's miffed that he's missing his daughter's party.

Finding George with Cindy in the barrel store, she lets loose, pointing out that his fiancee Elaine Peacock has put a huge amount of effort into arranging Anna's birthday.

Cindy is totally stunned by Linda's words, as she realises that George lied. Instead of being in Spain, her girls are just a few feet away from her!

Rushing into the bar, she comes face-to-face with a shocked Anna and Gina, while the confused partygoers look on, open-mouthed...

Meanwhile, Ian Beale is feeling torn apart that Cindy has found out her lost love George is in Albert Square, and he seeks solace in the launderette.

Peter Beale finds his dad inside and encourages him to open up about his insecurities over Cindy's other life.

Wanting to be there for Anna as she celebrates her birthday, Peter declares he's going back to the Vic and he marches across the Square.

In a spin over what to do next, Ian follows Peter so he can try and talk to Cindy.

When Sharon Watts and Phil Mitchell see Ian, they are stunned! Ian left Albert Square after the pair teamed up to try and murder him in revenge for letting Sharon's son Denny Rickman drown in a tragic boat disaster.

Could Ian still be in danger?



WEDNESDAY

Anna Knight and Gina Knight stare motionless at their long lost mum, as Cindy Beale tries to explain herself.

The girls haven't seen Cindy - who they think is called 'Rose' - for nine years, after she abandoned her family and disappeared without a trace.

Knowing that she's got a LOT of history to lay bare, Cindy starts to open up but the girls are so overwhelmed by the situation that they storm out of the pub.

Heading to Peggy's nightclub, they drown their sorrows in a bottle, but things soon start to get out of hand...

Back in the Vic, George Knight is worried about his daughters. He knows that Gina has gone off the rails with drugs and booze in the past as a way of dealing with being abandoned by her mother.

Fearing that the bombshell revelations have been too much, George heads out with Cindy to track them before Gina ends up taking things too far.

Can they get to the girls before Gina does something stupid?

Ian Beale's return to Albert Square is not QUITE as explosive as the 'late' Cindy Beale's reappearance, but it's still set to stir the pot!

After Sharon Mitchell tried to murder Ian with a poisoned pasta carbonara in revenge for him letting her son Denny Rickman drown in a tragic boat accident, Ian did a runner.

The awful revelation that Ian had been keeping for such a long time also made him a sworn enemy of Sharon's ex Phil Mitchell.

The Walford hardman is NOT happy about Ian's return and Phil makes it perfectly clear that he wants Ian out of the Square - sooner rather than later!

Heading over to No.45, Ian reunites with mum Kathy Cotton, who is still in a spin after seeing Cindy come back from the dead.

Ian's about to land Kathy with yet another bombshell, however, when he reveals that Cindy is also the wife of George Knight!

Bobby Beale's biggest fear may be about to come true, as he worries that his major crush, Anna Knight, will turn on him now that she knows that late Lucy Beale is her half-sister!

When Bobby was just a kid he accidentally killed Lucy in a childish rage, hitting her over the head with a jewellery box.

He's served his time and although Anna does know about the death, she's only just found out that she and Lucy are related!

After Anna goes out on the lash with sister Gina Knight in a bid to numb the shock of recent revelations, Bobby worries about her. He heads to Peggy's to see if she's okay but will she want to speak to him?

A kindly Freddie Slater does his best to comfort an upset Anna and he takes her to the chippy.

Could they do something they might regret?

Cindy is back in Walford and goes in search of Kathy. As she returns to the Square, she tries to avoid being seen by the people who knew her years ago.

When Cindy arrives at Number 45, there's a huge showdown between her and Kathy. Ian returns to Walford hoping to get Cindy to come back to France, but she is stopped in her tracks by George outside The Vic.

Meanwhile, Anna celebrates her 21st birthday and her loved ones try to make it one to remember.

Elsewhere, Kathy has a heart-to-heart with Peter after finding out that he's back in Walford.

George is unhappy when he realises that Cindy didn't return to Walford for him and the girls, as she didn't even know they were there. When Cindy asks questions about where Anna and Gina are, George lies that they're in Spain.

George's lie is undermined when Linda confronts him for not being present at Anna's birthday party. Cindy rushes into the bar, where she comes face-to-face with her daughters and the other residents of Walford.

Meanwhile, Peter talks to Ian and discovers the real reason that he didn't want Cindy to return to the Square.

Elsewhere, Sharon and Phil are both shocked to see Ian back in Walford.

Cindy tries to explain herself to Anna and Gina. After the tense conversation, Anna and Gina head to the club to drown their sorrows.

The sisters' night out quickly gets out of hand and when George tries to track down his daughters, accompanied by Cindy, his worst nightmare becomes a reality.

Meanwhile, Phil makes it clear that he wants Ian to leave Walford again, but Sharon plucks up the courage to speak to her former friend. Later, Ian faces Kathy and shares Cindy's connection to the Knight family.

Elsewhere, Bobby worries that Cindy and Anna will hate him for Lucy's death.

George orders Cindy to leave along with the rest of the newly-returned Beale family members. He then breaks down, feeling overwhelmed by the recent revelations.

Instead, Cindy and Ian take refuge at Alfie's flat.

Meanwhile, Anna tells Bobby that it's better for them to stay friends under the circumstances.
