On Coronation Street, it looks like Chris's twisted scheming could be about to bear fruit.

After arranging for Janice's flat to be burgled by his mate Billy, Chris pays him for doing his dirty work as everyone on the street wonders who could have been responsible for the break-in.

As Janice was heading off for a holiday at the time of the incident, the police question her about the cab firm that she used to get to the airport. When she confirms that it was Streetcars, it's not long before the finger of suspicion is pointing at Lloyd and he ends up being taken away for questioning.

Will Lloyd get the blame for a crime he didn't commit? And will he realise that he's being set up by Chris?

Mon 24th 7-30

Chris pays Billy for doing his dirty work and burgling Janice's flat, while the police question Janice about the break-in. When they ask which cab firm she used to get to the airport, Janice confirms it was Streetcars.

Later, Lloyd is horrified as the police make it clear they suspect him of burgling the flat. Is Chris's plan coming together?

Meanwhile, John seems preoccupied and Fiz is forced to make the daily trip to visit Hope alone. When she returns, she finds John cowering in the kitchen. He then starts to tell her the truth about Joy's death and the part he played in it…

Elsewhere, Owen is shocked when his bank card is declined; Gary talks to his solicitor; a frightened Janice is grateful when Leanne invites her to stay; and Michelle must decide whether to leave with Ciaran.

8-30 pm

Worried by John's seemingly senseless ramblings, Fiz asks Doctor Carter to visit.

When the medic turns up, he wastes no time in having John admitted to a psychiatric ward, leaving Fiz devastated and alone.

Meanwhile, Owen invites Eileen for a drink under the pretence that he wants to thank her for her hard work. However, he soon turns on Eileen as he tells her he knows she's stolen £10,000 from him. Owen then threatens a terrified Eileen with the police - will he get even?

Elsewhere, Chris plants a hold-all of Janice's belongings in the boot of Lloyd's taxi; Anna and Eddie meet their foster child Faye; Gary tells Izzy about the circumstances surrounding his arrest; and Peter is unimpressed to find Janice still living in his flat.

Thurs 27th

Eileen's unnerved when Owen turns up to continue working on her roof. Breaking down, Eileen tells Julie all about the stolen money and Owen's threats.

However, Julie points out that Eileen has got far more on Owen than he's got on her, as she knows he's been ripping off the tax man for years. Julie says that all they need is evidence, but will Eileen dare to double-cross Owen again?

Meanwhile, the police call in the cab office with a warrant to search all of the taxis. A hold-all of stolen goods is soon found in Lloyd's boot, leaving him stunned and insisting he's been stitched up.

Elsewhere, Fiz is worried for John as well as Hope, and as Kevin shows a prospective buyer around Number 4, he's furious to discover that Sally has left the place in a tip to put the buyer off.

Fri 28th 7-30

At the hospital, Fiz battles her emotions as Hope is taken off her ventilator and starts to breathe by herself. Fiz is overcome with relief, but she's also worried about the financial burden she now faces with a sick husband, a sick child and no money coming in.

Later, when Chesney reveals that a stranger called at the house looking for Colin Fishwick, it all becomes too much for Fiz and she breaks down. Fiz starts to confess all to Ches about what she knows about John's double life as Colin, but she is stopped by a call from the hospital…

Meanwhile, Owen's intrigued when Eileen tells him that she needs to see him. He calls at Number 11, where Eileen hands him a cheque for £10,000 and then reveals the copies of the documents proving his tax evasion and theft. How will Owen react?

Elsewhere, Chris assures Maria that he no longer has feelings for Cheryl; Tracy vows to get her revenge on Claire Peacock; and Gary finds out whether he's welcome back in the army after his arrest.

8-30

Hope has taken a turn for the worse and is back on a ventilator - her life is hanging in the balance once more as she has a hole in the heart.

As they wait by Hope's incubator, Fiz tells Chesney everything about John's double life as Colin Fishwick…

Meanwhile, Gary arrives home and provokes an angry response as he breaks the news of his arrest to his parents and what it means for his army career. Has Gary destroyed his future?

Elsewhere, Eileen is thrilled when Carla gives her a post in the packing department at the factory; Cheryl begs Lloyd not to implicate Chris in the robbery, leaving him facing a dilemma; and Deirdre's upset as Tracy is snubbed by everyone.
