Jordan has cameo in Neighbours?

Jordan's latest connection with Oz is that she's rumoured to be making a cameo in Neighbours when she flies over there with Alex to film her 179th TV series and launch her equestrian range to the Australian market (presumably the riding hats will have corks attached to them? We couldn't think of any other Aussie clothing stereotypes, soz).

"The guys on Ramsay Street are keen to get her on for a one-off," says someone who could be called Bruce or Sheila. "Who knows, Katie and Alex could be like Kylie and Jason.”

Or, who knows, they could be like Bouncer and Mrs Mangel.

Oh, and every Jordan story has a Peter angle, of course: "Neighbours is in Melbourne, the former stomping ground of her ex, Peter Andre. Talk about awkward."

To be fair, Peter could be a bit miffed that Jordan's managing to muscle in on a show from his homeland, but we're not sure the divorce settlement extended to dividing up soap cameo privileges.

Neighbours bosses have rubbished reports that Katie Price is to make a cameo appearance in the soap.

Yesterday, a tabloid claimed that the glamour girl had been approached to film a guest spot when she visits Australia later in the year.

However, responding to the rumour, a Neighbours spokeswoman told Holy Soap: "It's not true."

Price is due to fly out to Oz in the summer to promote her equestrian range and is also expected to film her ITV2 reality show What Katie Did Next down under.

Earlier today, the Neighbours team admitted trying to fool fans with a false news story which announced that Ramsay Street was to be renamed 25th Avenue.
