I thought it was hot here in Penrith on new years eve, when it was 46.3 degrees Celsius. Well, today (Sat) it is
48.9 C - the hottest day ever recorded in Greater Sydney (& it was supposedly the hottest place on Earth today!). And there is still the bushfire threat in the Blue Mountains & the South Coast etc. (48.9C is equivalent to about 130 Fahrenheit!). I have had the air-con on as well as the ceiling fans & it is still stifling hot inside at 7:30pm. Unbelievable!
