Ian is living in fear, knowing that somebody wants him dead. There's another dramatic turn of events when a loud bang goes off at the pub. Kathy and Sharon both rush over there, fearing the worst, and they find Ian cowering underneath a table.
Later, Max worries when Jack shares the latest update in the Ian attack investigation.
Meanwhile, Whitney reassures Tina that Gray will be able to clear her name. Later, the police call at Gray's as they want to know where Tina was that morning. They also have more questions to ask about Ian's attack, so they take Tina down to the station.
Elsewhere, Ben, Peter and Bobby meet Ian at the pub in an effort to build bridges for the sake of Kathy, who wants a peaceful Christmas. Suspicions rise when they all question Ian about recent events.
Also today, Karen is upset when Gray announces that he'll be having the kids for Christmas. Mitch promises a Christmas-free zone out of respect for Karen, but Billy surprises Karen with a unique festive outfit.

Honey realises she may have to cancel the Christmas community event because the fridge is broken. Jay saves the day by hiring a team of caterers to provide the food instead.
Later, as Honey and Jay enjoy the success of the event, they get carried away and share a kiss ? witnessed by Billy when he walks in at the wrong moment.
Meanwhile, the police inform Ian that Tina has been taken in for questioning. However, Ian can't relax for long as there's a vicious incident. Ian is terrified to realise that he's not safe in his own home.
Elsewhere, Max wants to start a new life with Linda, so makes her an offer.
Also today, Karen makes a big decision as she faces her first Christmas since Chantelle's death.

Ian starts to regret how horrible he has been in recent weeks, so he wants to make amends. He starts with Peter and Bobby, asking them to hear him out.
Later, after a festive celebration, Walford's residents are left in shock. A chilling taunt directed at Ian leaves him terrified for his life once again.
Meanwhile, Linda tries to explain to Mick how she has been feeling recently, but he remains distant and doesn't respond. Linda resorts to drastic measures to get Mick's attention, finding a bottle of whisky and taunting him with it. Will Mick fight for Linda?
Elsewhere, Mick is finally ready to help Tina.
Also today, Honey and Jay try to explain themselves to Billy, but he storms out.

Christmas Day gets off to a dramatic start on the Square when Ian storms over to accuse Ben of trying to kill him. The police soon turn up to make an arrest.
As the day continues, Sharon visits Dennis's grave. Ian joins her but is too distracted by his own turmoil, so Sharon sends him home.
Later, Ian is filled with fear at the Queen Vic as someone else is there. As Christmas Day comes to an end, the truth will come to light over who wants Ian dead. Someone makes a lethal move, but will it be the end of Ian?
Meanwhile, Denise comes face-to-face with Lucas and Chelsea, but the big question is what they're up to and why they're together. Chelsea is shocked to see her mum with Raymond.
Later, Denise arrives home and is clearly shaken after seeing Lucas again. She tells her family what happened, but they're interrupted when Chelsea arrives. Denise urges Chelsea to see how dangerous Lucas is.
As the heated situation unfolds, Kim realises that Patrick has disappeared ? wanting to protect Denise and track down Lucas.
Elsewhere, Stacey is surprised by the Christmas present she receives from Martin, who quickly realises he has made a mistake. Ruby waits at home for Martin, having prepared a lavish table full of food, but he doesn't answer her calls.
Later, Ruby interrupts the Slaters' Christmas and agrees to stay with them and Martin. When the celebrations head to The Vic, Stacey feels encouraged by Martin's gift and goes in for a kiss with him.
Also today, Mick and Ollie have Christmas dinner with Shirley, Tina, Gray, Mia and Mackenzie. Mick is shocked by Tina's present ? a photo showing them with Katy at the care home.

Yes, there doesn't seem to have been a spoiler for tonight. So here's one....

As the dust settles after Christmas Day, the pain is all but over. Martin has amends to make as Mick pours out his sorrows.
