Byron is busted in the process of sussing out Danielle's connection to Clive and she fires him.

As Danielle warns Clive something's going on, Nicolette surreptitiously photographs the pair's incriminating meetup. The siblings are now convinced their mum's being cheated on.

Meanwhile, David's family get the good news that he will be moved away from the other inmates for his own safety. But everyone's relief is short lived when they receive a photo of David and realise he's in more danger than ever.

Terese, wary of the stress Paul's under with David, suggests they put off their divorce settlement for a while so he can focus on family. For Paul, the offer is bittersweet: he once would have jumped at it, but now, sadly, there seems no point dragging it out.

David is daunted by Andrew's proposal that he wear a wire to catch out the dodgy guard. But he realises it's a necessary risk and agrees to give it a shot if it means it'll help him get out of prison and back to his family.

David embarks on his risky plan, desperate for a good outcome.

Meanwhile, accused of cheating on Jane, Clive lets her in on a shameful chapter of his past.

The revelation leaves Jane upset and wanting answers from Danielle as well. But things go from bad to worse when Danielle reveals some shocking secrets of her own?

While David is trapped and injured, the girls realise they need to do something to take down Emma.

Nicolette distracts her, and Freya tackles her to the ground. With Emma subdued, it's only David left in danger.

Meanwhile, Paul has got a lot on his plate with David, but he's pleasantly surprised when an old friend shows up in town with an intriguing proposition for him.

Elsewhere, a worried Harold can't bring himself to face the wedding planning sessions, which raises Melanie's suspicions. When she confronts him about it, Harold is forced to admit what he truly thinks about Melanie marrying Toadie.

As Toadie and Melanie's engagement party begins, Melanie's still reeling from Harold's harsh words.

Despite her hurt, she perseveres through the day, even when Toadie's mum Angie arrives and the day only gets harder.

Meanwhile, the Kennedys are shocked by the arrival of their son Malcolm, who shows up unannounced from The UK. An uneasy Mal soon reveals he has news to share, which shocks Karl and Susan. But there's more to Mal's story than he's letting on?

Elsewhere, while Paul grows ever more excited at the idea of going into business with an old friend, a wary Shane fishes for further information. Will this deal come to fruition?

Mal promises Izzy he will tell his parents about them, she just has to remain hidden until then.

Later, while Mal is struggling to reveal the truth, Izzy turns up unannounced on the Kennedys' doorstep, assuming he has already broken the news.

Meanwhile, Harold goes to the source of his concerns about Melanie: Joe Mangel. Full of regret, Joe admits he gave a skewed version of their divorce and sets Harold straight. Realising his error, Harold makes amends with Mel and Toadie, but can they forgive him and move past this?

Elsewhere, having copped attitude from Angie all afternoon, Melanie finally snaps and puts Angie in her place. She's about to go head to head with the Rebecchis' biggest fish.
