I have a feeling that Tess will turn up for Tim and Sally's wedding, and that week will finally see Yasmeen escape Geoff.

Does Tim have any memories of his mother only what Geoff told him?
"Grandma Tess", as Faye called her, died prior to 2013 (or so we are told - this could be retconned as another of Geoff's lies). In Episode 8048 (25th January 2013 - Part 2) Tim talks about how his mother "never forgave him" for walking out on Faye, and Faye said that she "died of a broken heart". This was around the same time that Tim's brothers Christopher and Craig were mentioned in Episode 8104 (15th April 2013 Part 1) - and Faye mentioned that she was Tessa's "first grandchild", which suggests that there were other grandchildren too.

Coronation Street revealed on Monday night (July 27) that Elaine, Yasmeen's mysterious ally and Geoff's former partner, is actually Tim's mum.
However, the revelation has left some fans confused about Geoff's past as they believed Tim's mother was called Tessa.
In Monday?s visit to Corrie, Elaine explained to Alya her real name is Phillipa and she was married to Geoff for two years.
Elaine and Geoff married in 1971 and she fell pregnant with their son, Tim, who she gave birth to in January 1972.
As well as being controlling and mentally abusive towards Elaine, Geoff was also having an affair with her best friend Tessa.
Elaine fled her abusive marriage in 1973 when Tim was just one year old as she feared for her life. But Geoff refused to let her take Tim.
He married again and lied to Tim, letting him believe that his second wife Tessa was his mum.
Geoff rejected any attempts Elaine made to get in contact with Tim and, to Elaine's horror, she discovered Tessa was on Geoff's side.
What happened with Tessa and Geoff?
Geoff and Phillipa officially divorced in 1974 but Geoff told everyone that Phillipa had died of breast cancer two years into their marriage.
Geoff and Tessa married that same year when Tim was only two.
Philippa changed her name to Elaine Jones at random by deed poll so Geoff couldn't find her if he looked. Tessa died in 2004 with Tim still believing she is his biological mother.
Years later, having heard about Yasmeen's case in the press, Elaine plucked up the courage to pay Yasmeen a visit in prison. And she told Alya the truth about who she is.
But how will Tim react when he discovers his dad has lied to him his whole life? And what will Geoff do when he finds out Elaine has come back into their lives and agreed to be a defence witness for Yasmeen?

Coronation Street finally resolves the mystery of missing Elaine Jones next week.
Elaine (Paula Wilcox) appeared on the ITV soap briefly in the summer, when she was revealed as the ex-wife of evil Geoff Metcalfe and the biological mum of Tim.
The newcomer's presence on the cobbles threatened to expose Geoff's history of abusive behaviour, so he turned nasty in order to get rid of her. Viewers have been left in the dark over exactly what happened to Elaine ? until now.
Next week, Tim (Joe Duttine) receives an unexpected call from the police, telling him that they have finally found Elaine.
It turns out that Elaine has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital and is shaken up after coming face-to-face with Geoff earlier in the year.
Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) reacts badly to this news, as she has desperately wanted Elaine to testify at Yasmeen's attempted murder trial. She now fears that Elaine won't be well enough to be part of the court case.
Tim is determined that they shouldn't give up easily, so he heads to see Elaine at the hospital.
As they finally get a chance to talk again, Tim makes an emotional apology to Elaine for not believing that she was his mum.
Tim also asks Elaine to consider giving evidence at the trial so that Yasmeen stands a better chance of being found not guilty.
Yasmeen's defence case hinges on proving that Geoff was abusive, so Elaine's recollections about her own traumatic marriage could be crucial.
Sadly, Elaine confides in Tim that she is scared as she believes Geoff has been spying on her in the hospital.
Tim still urges Elaine to reconsider as she's Yasmeen's only real hope. What will she decide?

Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) was last seen in Weatherfield back in May, following her and Yasmeen Nazir?s (Shelley King) ordeal with Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew).
Elaine and Yasmeen first met when Yasmeen was in prison after hitting Geoff with a wine bottle.
Throughout the trial, Geoff took advantage of Elaine?s fragile state of mind but, after the evil character fell from a roof and died, Elaine and Yasmeen were finally able to move forward in their lives ? together.
As the long-lost mother to Tim (Joe Duttine), Elaine decided her time in Weatherfield had come to an end after spending a few weeks living with Yasmeen and Cathy (Melanie Hill).
But back in May, Metro.co.uk confirmed that Elaine would return and soon, she pops by to celebrate Yasmeen?s birthday!
It?s not all fun and games though as Alya (Sair Khan) will tell Elaine she?s having some money issues, and Yasmeen has somehow managed to empty their bank account.
It appears Elaine will be back in Weatherfield to help Yasmeen and Alya with this new money problem?can she work out why Yasmeen has taken out so much money from the bank?
With Zeedan (Qasim Akhtar) also set to make his return, will Elaine find herself embroiled in whatever trouble he brings back to Yasmeen?s door?
