Coronation Street will welcome Wendy Crozier back to the cobbles as the character is set to return after more than a decade away from our screens.
Played by Roberta Kerr, Wendy debuted on the soap in 1989 and Kerr will reprise the role as she makes a surprise appearance in an upcoming storyline (via The Sun).
Details of Wendy's return storyline haven't been confirmed just yet, but she's set to make her comeback in a dramatic story later this summer, and we're sure it won't be long before she once again crosses paths with her former flame Ken Barlow (William Roache)...
When she was first introduced to the soap, Wendy was a council source for Ken, who worked as a journalist at the time.
Wendy was later fired when she was exposed by Ken's wife Deirdre (Anne Kirkbride), but Ken then offered her a job at his newspaper and the two began an affair, ultimately leading to his first divorce from Deirdre.
The relationship between Ken and Wendy didn't last very long, though. When Ken later lost his job at the newspaper and Wendy replaced him as editor, Ken fell into a depression that led to the realisation that he should have never left Deirdre.
Ken later left Wendy, and he and Deidre would eventually reconcile and remarry in 2005.
Wendy was last seen on-screen back in 2012 after the death of her husband Christos Papadopoulos, when she once again tried to rekindle the romance between her and Ken.
As he was back together with Deirdre, however, Ken wanted nothing to do with Wendy, prompting Wendy to get Ken drunk and let him crash on her sofa only to later tell Deirdre they had slept together.
This breach of trust led to Ken cutting Wendy out of his life completely, but have Ken's feelings changed nearly 10 years later now that he's a widower? And how will Tracy McDonald (Kate Ford) feel about seeing Wendy on the cobbles once again?
