Cheryl Cole joins L'Oreal

Her style is copied by women around the country - and now Cheryl Cole has landed a deal to front beauty brand L'Oreal Paris.

The X Factor judge will represent the company in the UK and her first campaign will be promoting a hair product called Elvive Full Restore 5, which will hit the shops next month.

Cole, 26, who won a place in Girls Aloud by appearing on Popstars: The Rivals, graced the cover of British Vogue in February.

She said: "I have always loved the brand and have always wanted to say the iconic phrase: 'Because you're worth it', so to be given that opportunity is absolutely amazing."

L'Oreal Paris general manager Gayle Tait said: "Cheryl is a glamorous, stylish and talented young woman whose warmth and charm has captivated the nation and helped to establish her as an inspiration to women throughout the UK."

I dont think I know of any other british celebs who have done it, so thats good

Will she be talking or just looking pretty? As she has no problem looking pretty but has trouble making herself heard as her accent is so hard to understand

I dont see what everyones problem is with the accent, its not that hard to understand

It is pretty hard her dialect is pretty hard to understand what she is trying to put across or express.

But she doesnt even use her dialect much

Ok I really have to disagree, dialect are the words used by someone that belong to a particular region, apart from why aye, Ive never heard anything else

I have heard it interviews and it is awful

She is stunning but it costs her alot to look like that

A huge amount of cash but she doesn't need to do all of that as I think she is pretty without all of the added extenstions. She could do with eating something!

Accent or no accent this girl has made it. Who would of thought she would front such a campaign? Everyone has written her off as just another footballers wife she is slowly trying to forge a career for herself. I think it won't be long before her and the band spilt.

It was harsh, she worked hard and beat off a lot of people to become a member of girls aloud. She just wasn't some lapdancer who was lucky to meet a footballer and married them!
