I was sat at work, girl I work with said "my chair just moved" I said don't be bloody stupid, then mine did - I thought the building was caving in LOL!

My aunty (sleeping over for the night) woke up and felt it! As always I slept like a baby and didn't hear or feel nothing! My parents (yet to ask), I was so suprised when I woke up and read it on the news! Hope everyone is alright! x

i slept right through it too but a mate of mine woke up. I think its mainly structural damage.
there was a woman on the radio earlier, she said when it happened her husband flew out of the bed and grabbed a golf club from under the stairs thinking it was a burglar! :rotfl: :rotfl: although to be fair i didnt have a clue what was going on either lol
I didnt feel it, but my aunt who lives in Nottingham did and she felt it really bad
Didn't feel a thing, though if there were tremors, I would have slept right through it anyway!
If I'd been asleep I wouldn't have noticed :lol: I was awake though. I live in London though :eek: It didn't last long, I just thought it was a big lorry (I live on a main road) :lol: I was a bit confused as to why the lorry would send vibrations through the living room and not my room as it usually does but I was tired and confused :lol:
My sister is in Northampton Uni she said her room was shaking a lot :p

Well here in cheshire we wouldnt of felt much anyway but some people made a really big deal out of it
I felt it, it woke me up the whole house was shaking.......
I heard a bang (wardrobe doors began to shake) and then the bed seemed to move!!! :eek:
Glad in a way to find out it was an earthquake, as at the time I thought I was imagining it, being half a sleep....:o
I felt it, and I think I've had too much what to do in an earthquake training because I just went right need to get under my desk! Quite an adventure!

I woke up just before it happened, then was awake whilst it happened, it was weird, i knew it was an earthquake but i was thinking what happens if the house falls? And how i don't know what to do when an earthquake does happen :confused: ! Weeeeeird!
