I wanna get stars on my feet, but all the pics that I like of them are all big and I only have small feet
and was wondering who has tattoos? and do they hurt (especially feet ones)

I have 3
A swallow on my left thigh.. a cat on my belly and a worm on my back...The one on the back was most painful cause it was on a bone but for after the one on my stomach was longest to heal cause everything you wear rubs against it.. I want to get a donkey on my lower back
Aww, a donkey would be cute lol, my mum has one on the bottom of her back and she said that killed, but hers looks dead nice

none whatsoever.. but I was 26 when I got my first one and I sat in the palour the day before watching what they were doing, as in, were they sterlising the needles and changing them between use..Quote:

I have 2 an Angel on my upper right arm with Marley's name on it. And a little graduate with the gown and cap on my right boob. The one on my arm didn't hurt but the one on my boob did. I don't regret getting them they both represent things in my life as in having Marley and passing my degree. I want one on my lower back but I know it will hurt like hell, but I'm not sure what I want. I was thinking of getting Jack Bauer in Icelandic letters as my niece has the name of a band single that Kiefer manages on her's.
The one i have on my lower spine didn't hurt, i think they depend on the person, the one that hurt was my arm, and that's meant to be the least painful

i would love one on the inside of my left wrist, two stars:D cause thats what i am a star:lol: no really cause i fancy it but my dad would freak!

i like this one too which i was gonna have up my back, the hearts would symbolise me and hubby and the star would symbolise my little boy, id just have the one star for now, then if i ever have more kids i can just add stars.

when I have kids, i'd love to have a star on my back to represent them and there name around it, but not big writing, small writing lol
I have one - by my inner hip bone. Got it when I was just 18. Yup it hurt but I don't regret it.
You just might consider the location of any tattoo with your career wishes; a friend of mine had loads and quite rude ones and had 23 removed after a young child "read" her body when she went swimming one day and asked his mum about the meaning of one of the rude ones. She still has a couple around her ankles but if you ever want to become one of Coleen's real women and advertise tights, they would not appreciate any tatts. :lol: The more private your tattoo the better if you are still in education and not settled in a job, there is still a lot of prejudice about tattoos with managers, I think.
I have two Dolphins in a cirlce on my ankle. Yes it hurt a bit but I am such a whimp when it comes to pain, that if I could manage it anyone could. The only thing is, it was meant to represent my two boys but then the little one came along, so I now have to get another one. As for work, if I need to cover up, I could wear trousers but so far I have never felt the need.

The pain depends upon the person getting the tattoo done but also depends largely on the tattooist. My unkle is a tattooist and did my tattoo on my ankle and it really hurt (I passed out n vowed not to get another but I was only 16). I went to a different place for the one on my back and it didnt hurt (apart from a little section across my spine)
I am going on holiday in July and am planning to lose weight and then get another. I want a tribal design fairy on my left shoulder (I dont want it coloured in as i think they look tacky coloured)
Random question. If you have a tattoo then put loads of weight on then lose it again does the tattoo become distorted?
I would imagine that depends on where you've got the tatoo.
With my weight gain, they look the same still, but i tink that's becasue of their position.
I suppose that it depends on where it is. If it is somewhere plump lets say, such as your bottom, and you lose a lot of weight and the skin goes saggy, I can imagine that the tattoo might become distorted.Quote:

My tattoo stretched hugely when I was pregnant each time, but reverted back to its normal size once I'd lost the "baby" weight - hasn't distorted or anything.

I think I might return the favour and have a tattoo of my sister's name oneday. She's getting it does this weekend I think, when I see her again I'll quiz her about it :p

I had this done today & I thought it hurt.
I prepared myself for really bad pain though & it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but was still abit painful!
Bearable pain, although, I don't want another now! :lol:
I have two tattoos one on my left breast, consists of two rose buds, one on my back which is an ocean scene,,need it re inked, but the tattoo parlors in Holland are questionable, they look rather dirty and unsanitary,, so will just leave it ,,Some day if i am in an old folks home they are gonna think I was some hip granny LOL

A story about the sea scene tattoo,, I designed it, the guy who was going to be doing my tattoo cleaned it up a bit ,,me and my girlfriend were laying on adjoining taables having our tats done and watching each others tattoos being done,, she had this puzzled look , and signed to me did u want a VOLCANO on your tattoo, I said no it isn't a volcano its sort of a mountain, she said well U have a volcano now,, I was like CHIT:rotfl: ,, it turned out really pretty good tho,,
i dont have any tattoos and i dont think ill get any done either. i think itd hurt way too much and id be scared that in 10yrs or so time that i wouldnt like it as much as i did when i got it done
I dont think I could ever have one, cos I know be being the type of person I am I wont like it in the future and regret it, but thats just me, I know Im always changing my mind and cos of that reason I would never have one

teenage girl is suing a tattoo artist for £10,000 after she allegedly asked him for three stars on her face - but ended up with 56.
Eighteen-year-old Kimberley Vlaminck paid £55 for 'the graffiti that has ruined my life' in her Belgian home town of Courtrai.

She claimed the Romanian tattooist who performed the artwork misunderstood her French and English.
She claims she fell asleep while he was doing his work... and awoke to 'this nightmare'.
'It is terrible for me,' said Kimberley. 'I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look horrible.'
'I think he didn’t understand what I wanted. He spoke only fractured English and French.
'But I explicitly said in my native tongue, French, and also in a little bit of English when he looked confused, that I wanted three little stars only near my left eye.'
Rouslan Toumaniantz, who runs the tattoo parlour called The Tattoo Box in Courtrai, denies her claim.
He said she knew 'exactly what she wanted'.
He added: 'She was awake and looked into the mirror several times as the procedure was taking place.
'The trouble all started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit.
'They are saying things now like I doped her or hypnotised her. What rubbish!
'She asked for 56 stars and that’s what she got.'
To remove the stars would require surgery costing £8,500.
But even the most advanced laser techniques would, while removing the tattoos, leave deep white marks all across Kimberley's face.
She has launched legal proceedings against Toumaniantz seeking damages, plus the money for the operation.
He was questioned by police earlier this year but they decided it was a civil matter and that there was nothing they could do.
Jules Clocher, a Belgian psychologist, said: 'The trauma this girl must be feeling is indescribable. She feels like a circus freak - and no wonder, because she looks like one.'

ive just read that story. and im wondering whether shes telling the truth or not. how could you not realise that you were having 56 stars tattooed onto your face instead of 3?
at least she doesnt look as bad as the guy who did it lol!

She asked for 3 stars.. how could she fall asleep when it was only 3??? it doesn't take long to do and who falls asleep getting a tatoo anyway???
I just read this on www.bodyjewelleryshop.com another forum that I'm on cos i'm into piercings and that (just got my tongue done on saturday :D :cheer: )
And I think tbh that she has gone in, asked for that doing, seen that her dad has gone ballistic and so lied about it so she didn't get done. Thing is, there is no way he would have carried on tattooing if she had fallen asleep because you move suddenly in your sleep all the time and so those stars would no way be as neat as they are. Plus I just doubt, if he had any common sense that he just wouldn't have done it. He also had no reason to do so many without prior permission so why would he?
