Gemma Atkinson has reportedly agreed to appear in the new series of I'm A Celebrity....
According to the Daily Star, the actress has signed up for the trip to the jungle which hits screens on November 12.
Despite splitting up with soccer star Christiano Ronaldo, reports claim that the Manchester United winger will receive daily progress updates on her time in Australia.
The former Hollyoaks star is rumoured to be joining Right Said Fred's Richard Fairbrass and pop choreographer Jeffrey Daniel on the reality show.
'I'm A Celeb' site hit by poison scare
From DS
The jungle site which ITV plans to use for the new series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! has been hit by a poison scare.
Dungay Creek in New South Wales, which runs through the stars' jungle camp, has been contaminated by a toxic insecticide. Department of Environment and Climate Change officials have warned locals to stay away from the water and banned fishing and swimming.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: "It's a nightmare. No one saw this kind of problem coming our way."
An ITV spokeswoman said: "Dungay Creek runs through the land where I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! is filmed. Investigations are still ongoing. The show will be going ahead as planned. We cannot comment further until the outcome of these investigations is available."
The reality show returns to screens next month.
Married couple for next 'I'm A Celeb'
I'm A Celebrity producers are signing up a married couple for the new series.
According to a report in the Daily Star, ITV chiefs are planning to put former footballer and radio host Jason Cundy into the jungle with his wife Lizzie, who works as a model.
The pair were previously considered for this year's Celebrity Big Brother, but plans to recruit them for the house were scrapped when Jade Goody and her family signed up.
A spokesman confirmed the rumours to the newspaper, asking: "How on Earth did you hear about this?"
An insider added: "Everyone thinks it's a great idea. A couple like Lizzie and Jason would be perfect. She's strikingly attractive and Jason's a great laugh."
Producers previously recruited Nancy Sorrell and her husband Vic Reeves for the show's fourth series in 2004.
Osbourne not returning to 'Celeb' spin-off
Kelly Osbourne has confirmed that she will not be presenting ITV2's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Now! this year.
The 22-year-old singer and reality TV star travelled to Australia to host the I'm A Celebrity spin-off last year, but she suffered from homesickness and was criticised for her "wooden" on-screen delivery.
"I was only 22 and this was my first presenter's job," Kelly told the Daily Star. "I don't expect to be asked back. I'll miss the backstage gossip but I won't miss the spiders."
Osbourne will make her West End debut in Chicago next month.
BUT
I’m A Celebrity… winner Matt Willis is to present ITV2’s coverage of the new series with fiancée Emma Griffiths.
The pair will host the nightly spin-off I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here…NOW! from Australia, while Mark Durden-Smith will front the UK segment of the show.
Last year's presenter Kelly Osbourne recently confirmed that she would not be returning to the jungle.
Willis said: “I’m still getting over the shock of winning last year and it will be awesome to go back and be a part of the presenting team. It’s a fantastic show and I feel really lucky to be involved in it for a second year.”
Griffiths said: “I have been a huge fan of I’m A Celebrity... since it began, so I’m really excited to be presenting the show. I can’t wait.”
Durden-Smith added: “I am very excited to be catching my fourth dose of virulent jungle fever and looking forward to watching the erotic sparks fly between ITV2's very own Richard and Judy, Matt and Emma.
“The studio in London will be heaving with friends and family of the victims, sorry, celebrities and I can't wait to open the debating chamber to find out who we love, who we lust after and who we think smells the most!”
**************************
I won't be tuning in to the extra bit, I really can't stand Mark Durden Smith.
Ant and Dec want Cowell for 'I'm A Celeb'
Ant and Dec have revealed that they want Simon Cowell to appear on the next series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!.
The acid-tongued X Factor judge is said to be furious that Ant McPartlin and Dec Donelly are now paid twice as much as him after signing a £40 million deal with ITV.
However, McPartlin devised a way for Cowell to improve his earning potential, saying: "I'll be having a word with the producers about getting Simon out to Australia this year for the show. He clearly needs to give his career a boost.
"Now that we're getting paid more than him, Simon needs to up his profiile. He'd be great in the jungle, but I reckon the snakes would be more scared of him than he would be of them."
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Imagine Simon in the jungle

Ex-footballer Rodney Marsh has reportedly signed to appear in the new series of I'm A Celebrity....
According to The Sun, Marsh has been lined up to appear in the jungle later this month.
A source commented: "We’re hoping for fireworks."
Marsh is expected to join former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Atkinson, '80s popstar Jeffrey Daniel and Right Said Fred singer Richard Fairbrass.
The ex-England star, who was sacked by Sky for making an offensive joke on air, was rumoured to appear in the reality show once before in 2005.

ITV's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! jungle camp has been given the all-clear following an investigation from environmental health officers.
Producers feared that the celebrities would be banned from swimming and fishing after Dungay Creek, which runs through the camp, was hit by a poison scare.
However, Department of Environment and Climate Change officials have now given ITV assurances that the site is safe, allowing the celebrities to enjoy the water.
A spokesman told the Daily Star Sunday: "The show will be carrying on as planned and we are confident the water where the celebrities wash and bathe is safe."
The show kicks off later this month.

Still no news on the final line-up :hmm:
Anna Ryder Richardson To Star In I'm A Celebrity
CHANGING Rooms star Anna Ryder Richardson is flying to Australia today for the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
The interior designer is steeling herself for life in the jungle and the gruesome bushtucker trials.
And it emerged the 43-year-old presenter, who lives in Glasgow, was inspired to get in shape by Myleene Klass, a star of the 2006 show.
A source said: "After last year when Myleene was in that white bikini, it has really put pressure on the women this year to look amazing.
"Anna has been getting ready for her time in the jungle by really getting into shape with exercise and good nutrition. She's never looked so good.
"She has been looking after herself so she can withstand what they throw at her.
"The celebrities this year will have a five-mile trek to the camp so it's not going to be for wimps.
"People may think Anna will all be about making the camp look pretty with her interior design skills but there's a lot more to her than that."
The mum-of-two had a party with family and friends at a Glasgow restaurant on Monday before spending a quiet night with husband Colin MacDougall.
Today, the couple and their daughters Bibi Belle and Dixie Dot are flying to Australia for the start of next week's I'm A Celebrity.
Anna, who was born in London to an English mum and Malaysian student dad, was adopted at six weeks old by Colin Ryder Richardson and his wife Gill.
She made her name on Changing Rooms alongside Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen.
Stars who are said to be joining her in the jungle include Paris Hilton, ex-Big Brother contestant Chantelle Houghton, 80s rapper MC Hammer and actor Christopher Biggins.
Former Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson, ex-footballer Rodney Marsh, Chris Tarrant's ex Ingrid, Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren and Katie Hopkins from The Apprentice may also end up at the camp in Murwillumbah, Queensland.
The show, which will be hosted again by Ant and Dec, starts next Thursday on ITV.
Atkinson heads 'I'm A Celeb' lineup
From DS but ITV haven't confirmed it yet.
Gemma Atkinson is among the celebrities confirmed for this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here lineup.
Atkinson will be joined by Richard and Fred Fairbrass from '90s pop group Right Said Fred, US model Janice Dickinson and Apprentice star Katie Hopkins.
Also heading to the jungle are actor Christopher Biggins, ex-EastEnders actor Mark Bannerman, celebrity chef John Burton Race, interior designer Anna Ryder Richardson and former 5ive singer Jason 'J' Brown.
Completing the lineup are Prince Andrew's ex-lover Koo Stark, former Sex Pistols manager Malcolm McLaren, football pundit Rodney Marsh, PR guru Lynne Franks and Welsh rock star Cerys Matthews.
The celebrities began arriving in Australia last night during torrential rain, which according to The Sun is threatening to turn their campsite into a swamp.
Last year's winner Matt Willis commented: "The camp has been absolutely soaked. I don’t envy this year’s contestants - I hope they they’ve brought their waterproofs."
I'm A Celebrity... begins on ITV1 this Sunday.

I've only heard of Gemma, Annan and J. No idea who the rest are.
McClaren: I was bullied into the jungle
Malcolm McClaren has claimed that he was bullied into appearing on I'm a Celebrity....
The music mogul, who is expected to appear on TV screens from Monday in the Australian jungle, says that he will be disliked by viewers.
He is quoted by Gigwise as saying: "I feel I’ve been bullied into doing this. I doubt I’ll let viewers down. I’m a very obnoxious creature."
McClaren follows in the footsteps of Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon, whom he managed in the '70s, in taking part in the reality TV show.
'Celeb' star reveals sleepwalking fear
Gemma Atkinson has warned that she will be sleepwalking around the I'm A Celebrity jungle camp at night.
The actress revealed that her fellow contestants may be disturbed by her nocturnal antics, admitting that she may even climb into bed with her castmates without realising.
"I'm just hoping I don't do anything or, you know, get in bed with anybody when I'm asleep," Gemma told the Daily Record.
"I'll maybe go swimming when I'm asleep 'cos you can do all sorts can't you? My mum's found me in my wardrobe. She's found me at the top of the stairs. And luckily, I've been woken up by my mum saying, 'Gemma what are you doing?'
"But in there, I could be woken up by a bite on the ankle or something. I'm just hoping I don't do anything."
'Celeb' gets bigger budget for trials
'm A Celebrity producer Chris Lore has been given a bigger budget for this year's Bushtucker Trials.
The Trials area has been specially extended for the new series, and the show's team have managed to dream up some of the most frightening challenges yet.
"We are doing more on site and we have bigger toys to play with and more animals," Lore told the Daily Star. "The Trials area is bigger than ever before. Expect claustrophobia, heights, the dark and deep water. We also have crocs. One of the trials is so scary it made one 'guinea pig' walk off the set."
However, the producer admitted that there had been some problems in securing enough gruesome dishes for a celebrity to eat in one planned challenge.
"We want to bring back some faves for a Bushtucker bonanza but there is a shortage of witchetty grubs," Chris explained. "We are having to get some in from Tasmania. And it's hard to get hold of the 'bush oysters' - kangaroo balls. It's illegal to buy them so you have to become friends with someone who has kangaroos. If they are given to you, that's OK."
'Celeb' chiefs want stars to shower nude
I'm A Celebrity producers have encouraged the contestants to shower nude in the jungle.
According to ex-footballer Rodney Marsh, show chiefs admitted that they wanted the celebrities to strip off in a recent meeting.
"We had a meeting with the producers and they told me, 'You can all shower in the nude'. I hope the girls do - but I won't!" Rodney told the Daily Star Sunday. "But I have bought myself some designer Calvin Kleins to wear in there - as a posing pouch."
The show kicks off tomorrow night at 9.00pm on ITV1.
