New Soapboards Competition

Hey guys

just thought id let you know about soapboards new competition we are thinking of running in the next month or so

Since this is going to be the last harry potter book (yes i know try not to cry at the thought of it) :crying: :crying: :crying:

We are going to be asking members to write the last chapter of the book.

The way you think it should end.

Should Harry live or die? ron and hermione get married and live happily ever after? Harry wake up under in the cupboard under the stairs
and realise its all been a dream?

With a prize of £20 worth of amazon vouchers.

First we want to see what interest we're going to have it it before annoucning the rules and dates

Please pm or email me or one of the other mods if you wish to take part or simply reply to this thread

Ideally we need atleast 5 people for this to work

Not sure if I have read/seen enough of Harry Potter to enter, but I might give it a go for the sake of it, so long as no one knows I wrote it :p

when do the exams start/ finish maybe we could work around them?

And people you dont have to be the best writers in the world even just a quick few lines on how you think it should end would be ok....come on we need people to take part!!!!

JK Rowling is not my thing. Give me a good John Grisham, Nelson deMille, Wilbur Smith or Tom Clancy anytime.

They start, well for most should be the 17th May, finish 15th June

I'm up for it! I love Harry Potter. If its around June time, then i think it would be a great time for everyone, as then its just before the new book and film comes out, and exams are over for a lot of people.

Can mines include tanks, helicopters and torture. I have a vision of Ron shooting voldermour then sticking his fingure in the wound to find out where Harry is being held captive.

Not that long. I did it on Word, and it was about 3/4 of a page. Yours sounds much more exciting than mine though- Mines a kind of "Aftermath" rather than full of action.

Fook mines is 6 pages long so far and nearly 2000 words but I'm at the battle scenes.
