oh right lol ok thanks
my fave episode was the one with the man that was in the abandoned house and it looked like he was dead then moved!!
yeah and it was the water his hand was stuck under the door
I loved Caroline and Alan together they were fab!
I loved that episode aswell where his hand was sticking out the door! That episode freaked me out! My fave episode personally though is the ghost forge 1. That kept me guessing til the end.
oph is that the one with the trick floor and the skeleton???
It was the one where the man lived alone and the burglar got stabbed in the neck and Maddy did that vanishing act trick. Remember?
oh yeah the one with the ghost writer the girl and her uncle yeah i remember that one
Luved dat episode. My fave 1. I also like the gallows gate 1 where that man faked his death and everyone thought he was dead but he was actually alive.
Just been watching some episodes on dvd of this and realised once again, how much i miss this show! I wish a new series would be made and Alan Davies and Caroline Quentin would be willing to do a brand new series - it has to be my most favourite show of all time, just love watching the episodes over and over again!
I watched the Gallows Gate episode the other day again and it's hilarious when the 's' isn't on the typewriter and Maddy says "oh i guess it'll have to be floppy dick then instead of floppy disk" :rotfl:
This used to scare me so much, i remember one episode where a man died licking an envolope (poisoning) and since ive never licked another envolope :rotfl:
BBC One is planning a Jonathan Creek Christmas special nearly five years after the series ended.
Alan Davies will return to star in a 90-minute episode of the popular comedy drama and filming is expected to start in the summer.
David Renwick, who created and wrote the show, told Broadcast: "After a five year break I think we're all looking forward to getting Creek back on the screen, and the BBC appear to be quite excited, so fingers crossed."
I am absolutely over the moon about this! I love Jonathan Creek - I'm so glad it's returning, even if it's only for a one off special. I hope they get Caroline Quentin back on board along with Alan Davies - those two lit up the screen with their chemistry.
Jonathan Creek is going to be airing in like a month's time! I am so excited!! :cheer: The most anticipated show this Christmas for me..
They were unable to get Caroline Quentin back though and instead, they have that blonde woman from Two Pints as Jonathan's new assistant (I forgot her name) but she also stars in Love Soup.. I think she'll be better than Julia Sawalha at least!
There was some info over the episode from the BBC Press Office.. I will try and find it out.
What I found from the Jonathan Creek website.. it's a sypnosis of the episode really but put it as a spoiler anyway..
Spoiler:
Jonathan Creek creator David Renwick has admitted that he is worried about how his new Christmas special will be received by fans.
The BBC One mystery show, which stars Alan Davies, is returning for a one-off edition on New Year's Day. It will be the first new episode of the programme since 2004.
Renwick, who also created One Foot in the Grave, has now revealed that he is expecting a backlash from viewers after the episode has aired.
Speaking to The Times, he explained: "People say, 'Oh Jonathan Creek's coming back. Fantastic.' And then they watch it and go: 'God, what a mistake.' Which is what happened with One Foot in the Grave. So I tend to expect the worst."
Renwick also confessed that writing a new episode of the programme was a "safe decision" - as he did not want to deal with the pressure of starting a new project from scratch.
He said: "I had three options. Retire. Or go away for the best part of six months and struggle to come up with something else, sit down and write it, and then try to interest someone else in it. Or I could resurrect Jonathan Creek."
Anyone know what date and time this is on so i can v+ it
