Tuesday 8th July 1930hrs
Emmerdale's Joe Tate is in serious danger
Joe Tate is about to learn his hired heavy Shaun has been lying through his teeth.
With someone clearly out to get Joe, Shaun's been hired to keep Joe safe and to find out who's been messing with him.
Well, it's Shaun who's toying with the Tate but who's pulling the strings?
When a demand for ?100K is left lying on the kitchen counter at Home Farm, Joe is rattled.
After consulting Sam Dingle, who's none the wiser, Joe starts to suspect Shaun and fires him.
Snapping, Shaun turns nasty but to Joe's relief, Sam arrives in the nick of time and with the help of his shotgun he gets rid of the thug.
But as Joe starts packing his bags, thinking it's safest for Dawn, Kim and the kids if he leaves for a bit, Shaun returns and knocks out the Tate with a shovel!
It's full steam ahead for Gabby's engagement do and she's decided a crash diet will help her look her best.
Meanwhile Vinny's recruited to take his dieting fiancee's car to the garage.
It's all a bit awkward up at Dingles' Autos because Kammy works there and let's not forget, Vinny recently tried to kiss him.
Kammy's all for talking about it and can see that the situation is eating away at conflicted Vinny.
As he pushes Vinny to talk, a glitch on the bluetooth system in Gabby's car sees flumoxed Laurel get plugged into the conversation.
How much will Gabby's stepmum hear? Is Vinny's pass at Kammy about to come to light?
Elsewhere, Ross confronts Robert about Lewis' stolen weed but is silenced when the Sugden threatens to back out of deal he's made with Moira who desperately needs the money.
Sarah returns to the village following her cancer surgery and emergency hysterectomy. Charity worries as her fragile grand-daughter struggles to process her loss.
Putting on a brave face, Sarah helps Cain make a poster for his son Nate's upcoming memorial. But when her grandad's back is turned her face crumbles.

Emmerdale's Joe Tate learns been kidnapped by evil Dr Crowley
When Joe Tate paid Dr Crowley for saving his life, he hoped he'd never see him again.
But Joe's kidney-stealing saga comes back to haunt him when he finds himself in a makeshift hospital to find Dr Crowley looming over him with a loaded syringe!

At the garage, Sarah's determined to return to work when really she should be recovering from her surgeries and healing her wounds.
The mechanic soon gets stuck in and helps Gabby who's not convinced her car is running right.
But as the women head off, driver Gabby ends up passing out, thanks to her crash diet, and mechanic Sarah's forced to save the day despite her fragile condition.
The pair end up in hospital where their loved ones rush to support them.
Cain and Charity are horrified to find Sarah back in hospital and her wounds severely compromised.
As distraught Sarah admits that the accident has bought home just how much she wants to become a mum, the Dingle grandad impulsively suggests surrogacy.
Charity's stunned and is furious with Cain for raising Sarah's hopes but he's determined to see her become a mum no matter what…
The sight of Gabby in a hospital bed leaves Vinny feeling more guilty than ever about his secret kiss and conversation with Kammy. Vinny decides there and then to bury his doubts and shower Gabby with love.
Will Laurel tell her stepdaughter Gabby she's had to have a word with floundering Vinny about their engagement?
Vinny is so relieved to learn that Gabby's OK that he resolves to throw himself into their relationship and to bury what happened with Kammy
At the cafe, Lewis steps in to help Nicola who's rushed off her feet. She's given food for thought when he's a huge hit with the customers.
Friday 11th July
Emmerdale's Sarah Sugden continues to strive to become a mum
Back at home in the wake of her car crash with Gabby, Sarah's being fussed over by her devoted grandparents Cain and Charity.
They're devastated at what the poor girl has had to endure and will do anything to see Sarah smiling again.
Charity and Cain are given bad news about their granddaughter Sarah
But only one thing could seemingly cheer up Sarah – who has just had cancer surgery and an emergency hysterectomy and has life-limiting disease Fanconi anaemia – and that's motherhood.
Having started on the IVF journey, Sarah's path to parenthood has been trashed by her recent surgeries but Cain has had an idea.
Surrogacy is all the family can talk about as they start looking into how to go about the process, asking questions and reaching out to agencies who may be able to help.
What will med student Jacob, who's donated his sperm to an IVF clinic for Sarah, have to say about the idea?
Elsewhere, Joe's fearful of what he's got into with Dr Crowley.
And at the cafe, Nicola comes up with a new regime in the wake of Lewis' success with the customers!
Dr Crowley is he Kim's new man?

In the latest episode, that all changes as Sarah consults Jacob about how he feels over her new dream of finding a surrogate. She reveals that she's changed her mind about Jacob's role in the baby's life, should her idea be successful.
Sarah explains: "I've had to grow up without my dad and I don't want the same for my child.
"If we were to have this baby by surrogate, when it arrives, I want you to be all-in?"
Although Jacob is visibly surprised by Sarah's sudden change of heart, he's keen to go along with becoming a hands-on father as they look to the future together.
Emmerdale will now be exploring the surrogacy storyline for Sarah, as she recently underwent an emergency hysterectomy amid complications during her cancer surgery.
Sarah's options with official surrogacy agencies are restricted by her life-limiting condition, which will become clear over the next few episodes.
Early next week, Charity takes matters into her own hands by approaching Sarah's auntie Victoria and asking her to be the surrogate.
When Victoria isn't keen, Charity is forced to change tactics by offering to become the surrogate herself.
The only problem is that Charity hasn't spoken with her husband Mackenzie Boyd before making the offer, which could risk the future of their marriage?

My gut was telling me that Charity would want to be the surrogate out of guilt. I hadn't correlated her not wanting a baby with Mackenzie and his not having access to his son with Chloe. The is good soapy fun.
