Emmerdale star Danny Miller has confirmed that his character Aaron Dingle will be sharing scenes with the show's new Sugden.
Show bosses recently announced the casting of former Coronation Street actor Oliver Farnworth as newcomer John Sugden, who'll be joining the village later in the summer.
John is a new arrival who'll be shaking up life for Victoria, who's the only remaining Sugden family member still left in the village.
He has also been tipped to "catch the eye of an unsuspecting resident", creating plenty of drama in the Dales.
Speaking to Digital Spy on the red carpet at the Radio Times Soap Awards, Danny teased: "There's a Sugden coming in. With the history that Aaron has with Robert, it'll be interesting to see what happens with them.
"It's going to be an interesting few months, which is great."
Off screen, Ryan Hawley ? who played Aaron's husband Robert ? recently made the switch to BBC One's Casualty. He's currently playing the role of Jamie Cleveland in the long-running medical drama.
Asked about Ryan's new job, Danny joked: "Traitor! He's a great actor and I speak to him all the time.
"Hopefully he does a good job ? I'm sure he will, with everything else he's done. I'm excited for him."
Oliver Farnworth was recently pictured filming alongside Jeff Hordley (Cain Dingle) for some dramatic Emmerdale fire scenes, which will air in a few weeks' time.
John Sugden will be involved in the high-stakes rescue scenes when Moira Dingle and Ruby Fox-Miligan get trapped in a burning barn.
The Radio Times Soap Awards took place at the Midland Hotel in Manchester on Saturday evening (July 13). Emmerdale took home two prizes on the night, with Lisa Riley (Mandy Dingle) winning Best Comedy Performance and Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard) receiving the Special Recognition gong.

John Sugden?s truth will be exposed on Emmerdale as the soap airs its flashback scenes for several characters.
John made his arrival in the Dales back in August, with the character introducing himself as the son of Jack and half-sister of Victoria.
After beginning a relationship with Aaron Dingle, John has still failed to divulge many of his secrets, with both his half-sister and fianc? unaware of his true capabilities.
Now, as John prepares for his wedding with Aaron, the soap?s flashback scenes will flesh out the man who is seen as a ?supportive? and ?considerate? part of village life. As the big day looms, will Aaron truly get to know the man he is set to spend the rest of his life with?...
?Since enigmatic and inscrutable John Sugden arrived on our screens last summer, he's managed to hide some pretty big secrets from his family and friends,? said producer Laura Shaw in a statement.
?As his clandestine acts are revealed, the audience has an opportunity to really get inside John's mind and to finally understand exactly what this mysterious character is really about,? she teased.
Oliver Farnworth, who plays John, had previously teased aspects of his character?s darker side in his statement upon joining the show, sharing that he would ?no doubt create a stir in the village for Victoria and the wider community?.

Oliver Farnworth, who plays John, recently spoke about the possibility of his character's dark secrets being exposed.
The ITV soap recently confirmed that John has a "hero complex", so he's been deliberately endangering the villagers to enjoy the glory of bringing them back from the brink.
His shocking tactics had tragic consequences in the case of Nate Robinson, who suffered a fatal reaction after John needlessly injected him with drugs. John then panicked and concealed Nate's body.
"There's lots of big stuff coming up. I guess with the web that John's woven for himself in the back of his mind, he's anticipating people to start being suspicious, secrets to come out and people to start finding things out," Oliver said.
"He's probably got a few set pieces prepared in his mind for dealing with all of this, but really what he's had to do so far is just think on his feet and adapt to situations around him. I'm sure this will all change soon.
"The jeopardy at stake for him now is that he's got his whole life in Emmerdale Village. He's got the love of his life, Aaron, he's got a family that he never had. He does not want to lose all that, under any circumstances. There's going to be a few battles ahead, I think."

With John Sugden's wedding to Aaron Dingle on the horizon, Emmerdale producer Laura Shaw has revealed that the villain will receive a couple of huge shocks.
Aaron recently discovered via best mate Mackenzie Boyd that John has being lying about Aidan Moore. Aaron was under the impression that Aidan was an army pal of John's, who died in Afghanistan during their army days.
However, the truth is that Aidan was John's former fianc? and is in a coma in a hospital in Leeds.
Speaking about Aidan and the upcoming wedding, Shaw shared with Digital Spy and other media: "There?s a wedding coming up, that is Aaron and John. I?ve just signed off on those episodes in the edit suite and they are very brilliant and very exciting. And what you see there is John?s full of trepidation heading into his wedding, worrying about all his secrets that might get exposed along the way.
"The wedding plays out across a whole week, Monday to Friday, as one day. And we?ve got some stylistic fun in there with some of John?s nightmares that we see ? potential things that might happen.
"We?ve got Aidan in a coma, and I can tell you that he?s absolutely not going to be in a coma forever. So is he going to wake up, and if he does, what secrets could he come back with? Is he going to walk in and spoil the wedding? We?ll have to see."
John will also be concerned that his deadly Nate Robinson secret could come to light. Back in February, following the devastating limo crash, Amy Barton came face-to-face with Nate's body while submerged in the lake. However, she died before she could communicate what she had seen.
Viewers recently discovered that Nate was accidentally killed at the hands of John, who was eager to show his heroism again. After his plan went wrong, John disposed of the body in the lake. Nate's family believe he is in Shetland, but Shaw has shared that his death will soon come to light.
She said: "We know that Nate?s body is still in that lake, and I can reveal that Nate is not going to stay at the bottom of that lake forever. So when John finds out that the lake?s been dredged and he knows that the body?s going to come up, will he make it to his vows? Is he going to be arrested?"
Shaw added: "It?s going to be good. With Nate and Aidan both threatening to ruin the day for John and put everything with Aaron at risk, what lengths is John going to be pushed to, to avoid that happening?"
