Mishti's past has been a mystery ever since she moved to Erinsborough in April, but we know that she shares an intriguing connection with her brother-in-law Shane.

Izzy's outrageous revelation leaves Karl fearing for the future of his marriage, but things only get worse when Susan's niece Elly Conway (Jodi Anasta) finds a pregnancy test.

Elly's discovery comes just after Erinsborough's residents have gathered for Susan's birthday party, during which there's a mix-up involving bags.
When Elly stumbles across the positive pregnancy test because of the bag mishap, she fears that it belongs to Izzy and shares her suspicions.
The horrified Kennedys go straight to Izzy for answers, and she reluctantly admits that the test doesn't belong to her. However, Izzy also reminds them that there's still a chance her self-insemination worked, leaving them on tenterhooks.
It's only later that the full truth comes to light, as Mishti Sharma (Scarlet Vas) confides in Leo Tanaka about how she's expecting his baby.

Neighbours airs a heartbreaking storyline for Mishti Sharma next week as she suffers a miscarriage.
The Erinsborough police officer discovered she was pregnant with Leo Tanaka's baby two weeks ago, leaving them with a big decision to make over their future.
Next week's episodes see trouble flare up for the couple at this crucial moment in their lives, as Mishti (Scarlet Vas) starts to disapprove of Leo getting too involved with his father Paul Robinson.
When Mishti hears that Paul has put Terese Willis on gardening leave and installed Leo (Tim Kano) at the hotel in her place, she's fearful that he's getting drawn into a dangerous web.
After confiding in Leo's brother David (Takaya Honda) about it, Mishti vows to confront her partner but is suddenly gripped with a terrible pain.
Mishti is rushed to hospital and sadly loses the baby, leaving her distraught.
When Leo turns up to comfort Mishti at the hospital, she initially tries to keep him at arm's length – believing that he'd rather concentrate on his work.
It's only when Leo persists by tracking down Mishti at home later on that he finally manages to make some progress with his girlfriend.
Leo admits that while they hadn't made a final decision over what to do about the baby, it had become part of his thinking about the future.
Finally realising how much Leo does care, Mishti is ready to accept his support. Can they get through this together?

Mishti (Scarlet Vas) was left devastated last week as she discovered that a video showing her having sex with Dilhan had been uploaded onto the internet, going viral among the local community.
Although Mishti had hoped the authorities would give Dilhan the punishment he deserves, she's left disappointed next week as she hears that he got off with just a fine.
Emboldened by the lack of any real action, Dilhan decides to make Mishti suffer for reporting him and starts texting threatening messages to her.
Although everyone is concerned for Mishti when they hear about the latest problem, she's reluctant to admit that the threats are getting to her and stubbornly fails to report them to the police.
Later on, Mishti agrees to work a double shift and goes home to change, but she's spooked when she hears noises and spies a shadow moving about outside.
As one of Dilhan's texts has already warned that he could be paying a sinister visit that night, Mishti panics that he could be lurking outside her home.
With her need to protect herself taking over, Mishti fires a warning shot through the laundry door. Will anyone be injured and could this affect her career with the police?

Mishti (Scarlet Vas) has her secret exposed after Xanthe Canning and Yashvi Rebecchi share their views on arranged marriages during a class debate at Erinsborough High.
Looking into the issue further, Yashvi browses an arranged marriage website that Xanthe (Lilly Van Der Meer) found and is stunned to see that her aunt has a profile on there.
Secrets never stay under wraps in Erinsborough for long, so the gossip about Mishti soon spreads around her whole family like wildfire.
Dipi (Sharon Johal) is particularly shocked by the revelation, insisting that arranged marriages are an old and outdated tradition that deny people the romantic love they deserve.
Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) also has some concerns, believing that it's too risky for Mishti to make such a big commitment to someone that she doesn't know.
Although Mishti appreciates everyone's concern, she sticks to her guns by insisting that her decision fits within her life plan and she won't be changing her mind on this.
Later in the week, Mishti continues to look through the website, but doesn't feel particularly enthusiastic over any of the possible choices on offer.
Fortunately, her ex-boyfriend Leo Tanaka is on hand with some surprising advice – claiming that she's focusing too much on physical appearance by looking at the profile photos.
Realising Leo is right, Mishti turns off the profile pictures and suddenly strikes up a bond with a new guy called Pavan. Could he be 'the one' for Mishti?

The Erinsborough police officer, played by Scarlet Vas, waves goodbye to Ramsay Street and moves to Sydney after more than a year in the Aussie soap.
Upcoming episodes will see Mishti's relationship with Pavan Nahal (Akkshey Caplash) come under threat when he finds out about the secret sex tape she hadn't told him about.
This discovery jeopardises the pair's plans for an arranged marriage as Pavan's family disapprove, leaving Mishti upset that her love life is going wrong yet again.
Fortunately, Mishti can rely on support from her sister Dipi Rebecchi (Sharon Johal), who makes contact with Pavan and urges him to see things from a different perspective.
Dipi helps Pavan to realise that the private video wasn't a secret Mishti was under any obligation to "confess" to, as she was the victim in the situation when it was leaked online.
Finally understanding, Pavan meets up with Mishti and makes peace with her, promising to stand his ground with his strict family and stick by his plans for the marriage.
Despite this, there's still one sting in the tail as Pavan has been offered a new job in Sydney and wants Mishti to join him there.
With her family's support, Mishti agrees to move with Pavan and is celebrated at a farewell gathering before leaving the Street.
Mishti has particularly kind words for Dipi and Shane as she thanks them for supporting her through her dramas, while her ex-boyfriend Leo Tanaka is also present to wish her well.
Scarlet has been appearing on screen as Mishti since April 2017.
