Concern mounts for Megan Macey as she clearly isn't coping with being a mother again.
As Megan makes preparations for the christening of her baby daughter Eliza, she stubbornly insists on doing everything herself - even telling Eliza's father Jai not to bother attending.
Megan's friends like Sam Dingle try to make her see that she should accept all the help she can get with little Eliza, but trying to get her to recognise this is a tricky task.
When the day of the christening arrives, Jai's sister Priya advises him to just ignore Megan's demands and attend the ceremony anyway. Megan herself also feels pressured to let Jai (Chris Bisson) join in when she sees the small number of guests.

David arrives at the doctors to collect his test results. When he enters the room, he's unaware that Belle and Dr Bailey are kissing behind the examination curtain.
Dr Bailey steps out but is flustered and scrambles through his paperwork. He tells a chuffed David that his ultrasound came back clear. David is delighted with the result, but Dr Bailey has actually made a worrying error. How will David feel when he finds out?
Meanwhile, Megan is determined to do everything all by herself, so she tells Jai to back off and not to attend the christening. Sam tells her that she should take all the help she can get.
Elsewhere, Robert goads Andy that Chrissie gets bored easily, but he's taken aback that Andy is moving in with her. Andy offers to go to a gig with Lachlan when Chrissie says he can't go alone.

It's Gordon's turn to speak in court, but he uses the opportunity to make claims about Aaron.
Sickened by Gordon's lies, Aaron tries to control his breathing as the case takes its toll. Chas tries to bolster Aaron as he starts to lose hope.
Meanwhile, Lawrence is thrilled to be leaving hospital, but is thrown to learn from Bernice that Andy is staying at the house. He and Bernice are uneasy but know they can't protest under the circumstances. Back at Home Farm, Chrissie discovers a leak and pulls up Ronnie Hale's number, knowing he's a plumber.
Elsewhere, Vanessa notices Rhona's clear lack of trust in Paddy. When Paddy heads out for a vet visit, Rhona covers to Vanessa and Marlon that she has left her purse at the shop and so leaves the house. Will her friends be able to help Rhona with her trust issues when she admits to following Paddy?
Also, Dan steels himself to talk to Zak and Joanie about them moving out.

Back at the Woolpack, Cain wonders if Chas is okay with Robert and Aaron spending time with each other. She insists that she's happy Aaron has something to take his mind off things. Robert tells Aaron that he is there for him whatever happens, but will Aaron agree to give things another go?
Meanwhile, Chrissie quietly scrutinises Ronnie when he arrives to fix the leak. When she learns some facts about him, she likes what she hears. But how will Ronnie react when Chrissie shows him a photo of her mother?
Elsewhere, Zak lets himself into the Dingles' and takes a few trinkets, along with the Dingle pot. He tries to sell the heirlooms onto Pollard in the café but the pot is the only item worth anything. Pollard offers him £100 for it, but will Zak sell it even though it's worth a lot more?
Also, Lawrence is struck by Chrissie and Andy's closeness.
Finally, Pearl tells Paddy and Rhona there are loads of negative reviews about the surgery online - and Rhona has an idea of who's behind it.

I don't think Zak and Joanie are engaged so no engagement ring would be expected from him to her. Of course, Zak and Lisa's divorce is at the decree nisi stage right now. I think for now that Joanie's missing engagement ring could come from her former marriage to her late husband but this might not turn out to be right, time will hopefully tell in a later episode?Quote:

Joanie first appeared in the Emmerdale show in 2013 after her daughter Karen Winchester (and her husband Tom Winchester) were killed by carbon monoxide poisoning. Joanie then took over the adoption of Kyle Winchester (formerly Kyle Wyatt, the boy given up for adoption from unmarried mother Amy Wyatt and father Cain Dingle).

The verdict is in for Gordon...
Emmerdale's Rhona and Paddy Kirk will be thrown into fresh turmoil next week when it becomes clear that they are being targeted.
The pair's marriage was in jeopardy earlier this year after he confessed to having an affair with the late Tess Harris, and they have been trying to find a way to move forward ever since.
Although Rhona is determined to work through her marital problems sensibly, her struggles becomes palpable in upcoming episodes when she finds it increasingly hard to trust Paddy.
Vanessa is amongst those to raise concern about her friend's behaviour when she notices how Rhona is fixed on Paddy when he takes a phone call.
When Paddy later heads out for a vet visit, Rhona lies to Vanessa and Marlon that she has left her purse at the shop in a bid to follow him. Rhona eventually comes clean with her friends about following Paddy, but it soon becomes clear that she may have a more chilling concern.
Rhona will be upset when negative reviews on the vet's website keep flooding in but while Paddy wonders who is writing them, Rhona thinks she already knows.

I think your hatred for the "the very special guy" is clouding your judgement, dong get me wrong Debbie and Ross together aernt great together either but Debbie/Pete is an utter bore fest. Also you said his rubbishness never fails all of us, you speaking for everyone now? Anyway I dont think Ross will be too bothered anyway, they kind of resolved things until Pete smashed his window in order to get arrested so he cant hit on his auntie anymore. However, I do feel like the show needs Pete to give the show balance. He is a normal kinda guy living in a village full of eccentrics.
I'm really stuck on thinking of the last time Ross was really successful at anything. No-one else seems to mention anything of worthy note either. In Emmerdale, Cain doesn't really want him working at the garage, Charity dumps her baby on him and uses him under threat of blackmail for shooting Robert. Ross is really like an extra at the moment so there's not a lot new to say about him. Pete and Charity seem to be his best chances for some action in a while.Quote:

Ross is just too blackmailable and dishonest for her and it doesn't look as if he is going to change anytime soon. Debbie fled Emmerdale on New Years Day 2016 and her only reason for leaving was to get away from Ross. She hasn't returned since, not even to see her family and friends. Ross hasn't changed, so why would Debbie go back to him when she eventually does return to Emmerdale? I think re-uniting them would be unbelieveable and even a ridiculous storyline to have. There is a phrase in common use of "Never go back" and another is "Once bitten, twice shy". Emmerdale seems to have some general history for not repeating failed relationships so I don't really see Debbie and Ross having a second term together.
Pete is due for release from jail someday after Monday 18 April, having served 3 months of a 6 month sentence with time off expected for good behaviour. I liked Pete with Debbie in 2015, it seemed for a while that they would be a well-matched young family unit which Emmerdale village community needs one or more of. But I don't think that Pete is likely to take Debbie back. She cheated on him several times before their wedding, he then rejected her and told Ross he was welcome to her, she had Ross move in afterwards, Pete and Debbie are divorced now and Debbie isn't likely to return to Emmerdale full-time for months yet. I suppose Pete could pair up with Vanessa yet, or even Moira again to stir up some Charity/Holly/Cain storyline? Tracy might be another possibility.
Andy is going to be told (during 18-22 Apr) by Moira about contact details for Debbie and her kids, so some sort of storyline is presumably due about them. I'm guessing that this will be short-lived and not developed much for now though. Spoilers indicate that this involvement of Moira with Debbie through Andy is going to really start Moira's downfall after her being soft lately with Charity, Ross and Holly.

Emmerdale's Aaron Livesy is on tenterhooks tonight (April 13) as he realises that Gordon's child abuse case could rest entirely in Liv's hands.
Another emotional episode sees Sandra and Liv (Isobel Steele) both give evidence in court, but while Sandra is now on Aaron's side, Liv is naively backing her evil father.
When Liv's resolve begins to crumble in court and she struggles to answer the questions, the day comes to an abrupt end as the judge decides to be patient and give her some time to herself.
Aaron (Danny Miller) catches up with his sister outside and tries to check whether she's okay, but will his conversation win her over or make everything a whole lot worse?

Emmerdale's big trial week has taken another shock turn, with Liv Flaherty threatening to destroy Aaron Livesy's chances of ever seeing justice served.
The ITV soap is airing emotional scenes all this week, as Aaron (Danny Miller) desperately hopes that his evil father Gordon will finally be punished for sexually abusing him throughout his childhood.
Aaron, his mum Chas, his stepmum Sandra and on-off lover Robert have all given evidence in court at Gordon's trial so far. But the crucial witness may just be Aaron's half-sister Liv, leading to the shock threats she made in the catch-up video above.
Wednesday's episode (April 13) ended with the tense cliffhanger, after Liv had struggled to give her evidence in court as she was feeling torn between Aaron and Gordon.
Aaron was caring enough to check that his half-sister was okay outside the court after proceedings had ended for the day. It seemed that Liv was finally ready to back Aaron up when she saw how genuine he was, until she suggested coming to live with him and he hesitated.

Furious over the rejection, Liv threatened to ruin everything for Aaron by telling the court how Robert bribed Ryan to make false abuse allegations against Gordon. And since she has a recording to prove it, there may be no escaping this one.
"I'm going back in tomorrow and I'm telling them what I know," Liv warned. "All of it. And I'm playing them that recording to prove it."
Emmerdale continues at 7pm and 8pm on Thursday (April 14) as viewers discover whether Liv really will go through with her threats.

Hats off to Emmerdale for delivering the outcome that fans were hoping for tonight (April 15) as evil Gordon Livesy finally got his comeuppance.
As the villain's week-long trial reached its conclusion, emotional scenes saw Gordon (Gary Mavers) left furious as he was found guilty of raping his son Aaron.
Gordon had tried every trick in the book to discredit Aaron's allegations, leaving some viewers fearing that he could somehow get himself off the hook.
Fortunately, the Dingles were overjoyed tonight as Gordon was found guilty of all charges - leaving Aaron (Danny Miller) vindicated.
The news naturally took longer to sink in for Aaron. Back at The Woolpack, he pointed out to his boyfriend Robert Sugden that the terrible memories of the past would never go away.
Urging Aaron to find a way to move forward, Robert told him: "You'll find a way to let them go. Aaron, you deserve to be really happy. Why don't you just give it a go for once, eh? It's not going to kill you."
It's also a whole new start for Aaron as his mum Chas has put the wheels in motion to officially change his surname to Dingle.
Aaron had made the suggestion earlier this week, explaining that he no longer wanted to be associated with his abusive dad by sharing his surname.
Next week's episodes will feature even more drama for Aaron when his stepmum Sandra vows to move away to Dublin with her daughter Liv.
With Liv refusing to leave, Aaron steps in with a very surprising suggestion. Is he willing to take on the responsibility of his troublesome half-sister?
