Katie and Andy move their belongings into the caravan at Wylie’s Farm. Andy is delighted when Robert asks him to be his best man, but Katie warns Robert that she is not fooled. When the caravan goes up in flames, she is sure that she knows who is behind it. Aaron is left in turmoil as Robert tells him that the wedding does not necessarily mean the end of their relationship and implores him to call the whole thing off, telling him that he loves him. When Robert refuses, Aaron texts Katie – has he given her the ammunition she needs? Chrissie quizzes Lachlan about his new girlfriend as he arrives to babysit Jacob, but when Alicia and David head out, he takes a knife from the kitchen drawer – what is he up to? Pete agrees to join Emma, Ross and Finn for tea, but the family reunion is short-lived when DC Halton arrives to question Ross – and Emma is puzzled by the fact that the police have Ross’s fingerprints on record. Leyla is shocked to hear that Katie is selling the house to Rodney and Georgia, but Rodney is not sure about the deal and pulls a fast one. Val enjoys playing matchmaker between Tracy and Sam, but he is less than convinced that they have a future together. As the guests wait in the village church there is still no sign of the groom. Andy goes looking for him – what is he about to discover?

I have a feeling it is deja vu again that Andy will discover katie once again cheating or trying to sleep with Robert. Remember Kate oates suggested Katie exit might be more about Andy than Robert.

Emmerdale couple Katie and Andy Sugden will see their future go up in flames next month as the caravan they have bought is set alight.

The devastating incident will come just when the pair are hoping to make a fresh start as they celebrate their move to the farm.

In the build-up to the fire, Katie (Sammy Winward) makes the mistake of taunting Andy's brother Robert as she continues to threaten him.

Still convinced that Robert is having an affair with a mystery person, Katie warns him that she will make it her mission to become as friendly as possible with his fiancée Chrissie White.

A furious Robert takes Katie's taunts as a threat, knowing that she wants to find a way to turn Chrissie against him for good.

When Robert heads off in an angry mood, it's not long before Katie and Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) realise that the caravan at Wylie's Farm is ablaze.

Having moved all of their belongings into the caravan, the pair watch on in horror as the fire leads to an explosion and their plans for the future are ruined.

Although Katie is adamant that Robert was behind the blaze in the aftermath, she struggles to convince anyone that he was responsible. The incident leaves Katie more determined than ever to get revenge on Robert, but what will she do next?

The dramatic scenes all play out as part of Katie's final week on the show following Sammy Winward's decision to leave.

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, February 2 at 7pm on ITV.

There's a frosty atmosphere between Andy and Katie as they fill the car with boxes for the caravan. Andy apologises to Robert for what Katie did, leaving him happily surprised. Robert asks Andy to be his best man and he agrees, but Katie warns Robert that he's not fooling her.

Later at the pub, Katie and Andy agree to stop fighting and celebrate their move to the farm, but Katie can't resist quietly taunting Robert about how she's going to make things up to Chrissie so they can become best friends. Robert takes this as a threat and leaves angrily. Soon afterwards, the caravan at Wylie's is ablaze, along with Andy and Katie's perfect future…

Meanwhile, Chrissie questions Lachlan about his new girlfriend, feeling intrigued and uneasy over his secretive behaviour. Later, Lachlan arrives at Farrers to babysit Jacob while Alicia heads out with David. While babysitting, Lachlan gets pizza out of the oven, picks up a knife and examines it. Deep in thought he runs his thumb against the blade, bracing himself…

Elsewhere, Pete reluctantly agrees to join Emma, Ross and Finn for tea. Emma is delighted when Pete arrives, happy by what she hopes it signifies.

Also today, Marlon refuses to lie when Laurel suggests they could have a drink without Paddy finding out. When Doug later offers Laurel a sneaky drink, will she be tempted?

Finally, Tracy is touched when Val wants them to discuss tactics to keep her and Sam together, while Aaron makes a confession to Paddy who advises him to get out of it before he gets hurt.

Katie barges into Home Farm and refuses to leave until Robert admits that he started the fire. Robert accuses Katie of wanting to screw the wedding up, while Chrissie challenges her to call the police. However, Katie's confident stance is quickly slipping.

Back at Wylie's farm, a furious Andy apologises to Chrissie on the phone as Katie returns. Suddenly, Katie is worried that she has gone too far - and perhaps at the cost of her marriage. At the same time, Robert arrives at the cabin to win Aaron around, but Aaron stands firm.

Later at the pub, Katie tells Andy that they can put everything behind them. However, Robert is riled by his rejection from Aaron and decides to target Katie…

Meanwhile, Val continues in her attempts to solidify Tracy and Sam as a couple.

Elsewhere, Lachlan enjoys chatting to Alicia about all of the drama at home.

Also today, Georgia is emboldened by Rodney's support and soon Rodney is stunned when she makes an arrangement.

Katie is hurt when she tries to talk to Andy, but he still wants space from her. At the same time, Robert manipulates Chrissie into suggesting they pull out of the farm deal to punish Katie for saying he started the fire. Robert enjoys telling Katie the news and says that he'll leave her to inform Andy.

Desperate to confide in someone, Katie talks to Chas but is left feeling utterly alone when she doesn't believe her, warning Katie to get a grip before she loses her husband. Will Katie be able to contain her fear and frustrations for the sake of her marriage?

Meanwhile, Robert asks Aaron to meet him at the barn but is disappointed when he waits for Aaron and realises that he isn't going to turn up. Later, Robert joins Lawrence and Chrissie in the pub where they are having pre-wedding celebration drinks. Robert spots Aaron and follows him into the toilet, with his words leaving Aaron gutted that his plan backfired.

Soon afterwards, Aaron spots Katie outside the pub. Without warning, he blurts out that she is right about Robert - he has been having an affair and he can prove it to her tomorrow...

Elsewhere, Leyla is shocked to discover that Katie is selling the house to Rodney and Georgia, but Rodney is not sure about the move and does a sly deal.

It's the day of the wedding. Robert agrees to meet Aaron at Wylie's Farm for one last goodbye, but when Robert suggests to him that it doesn't have to be the end of their relationship, Aaron's head and plan is thrown into disarray. He then tells Katie that he was wrong about Robert and hopes he has shut her down.

Later, Andy fumes to hear that the farm sale is off - convinced that Katie must have done something to further rile Robert and Chrissie. Andy tells Katie not to come to the wedding and suggests that he might move out permanently. Could this really be the end for them?

As the day continues, a suited Robert arrives at the farm and Aaron implores him to call off the wedding, telling him that he loves him - but Robert refuses. As Robert makes to leave, Aaron hastily texts Katie with the words "Wylie's Farm, now".

Aaron goes after Robert and it's not long before they are embroiled in a passionate kiss. However, when the sound of a camera phone taking a shot cuts through the air, a panicked Robert pulls away. Katie finally has the evidence she needs...

Meanwhile, DC Halton arrives to speak to Ross, telling him they have his fingerprints in connection with a break-in. Emma comes to his rescue as he is questioned. She tells the police that it's her house, although she does wonder why they have Ross's prints already on record.

Elsewhere, Chrissie is upset that her sister has missed her flight and won't be at the wedding, so she asks Alicia to step in as bridesmaid.

Also, Bob drops Rodney in it with Georgia.

At Wylie's, Robert is desperate to discredit Aaron as Katie enjoys having him on the ropes. Will Aaron regret his betrayal to Robert? And now that Katie has the evidence she needs, can they persuade her not to make it public?

The tension mounts at the farm as they all realise the enormity of the situation and the repercussions it will have….

Meanwhile, Lawrence is blown away when he sees Chrissie in her wedding dress, but he becomes concerned when Leyla admits that she doesn't know where Robert is. Attempts are made to locate Robert and Katie but to no avail. Soon Chrissie, Lawrence and Lachlan arrive at the church, but there is still no sign of the groom...

Elsewhere, Pete is shocked when Finn tells him what Ross did. At the same time, Emma questions Ross over the police visit, darkening when he admits that he broke into her house.

With Emma now in the picture over the break-in, the brothers are sure she will leave them again. As Finn tries to change Pete's opinion of Emma, Ross finally snaps and pins Pete down, demanding he tell them why he is so anti-Emma. Will Pete finally reveal the secrets of the past?

Guests are getting restless at the church as they continue to await the arrival of the groom and there are mutterings that he may have done a runner.

Much later in the day, Sam tells Andy that he saw Katie heading to Wylie's a while ago. Andy decides to go and look, but what will he encounter when he gets there?

Meanwhile, Aaron is in turmoil.

Elsewhere, Ross confronts Emma. She can't deny what happened, but attempts to give an explanation. Can he forgive her?

Also today, wound up by Nicola in the church, Tracy jokingly suggests that she and Sam get married but feels let down as he says no.

Finally, Rodney tells Georgia that he thinks it's time they call it a day, but Georgia doesn't seem to take it seriously.

The Barton family face further turmoil on Emmerdale next week as Emma's dark secret is exposed.

Viewers recently learned that Emma (Gillian Kearney) tried to kill her son Ross when he was a baby, but her terrible mistake is currently only known to James and Pete.

Tense scenes airing next week will see Emma's past come back to haunt her as tensions within the Barton family escalate.

The trouble begins when the police realise that Ross was behind the recent break-in at Emma's home. She quickly covers for her son, but is shocked when she learns about his criminal history and the efforts he made to frighten her.

As the Barton boys are left to discuss whether Emma will now disappear at the first sign of trouble, Pete isn't optimistic over her long-term commitment to the family.

Pete's doubts immediately infuriate Ross, who pins his older brother down and demands to know why he has such a negative opinion of Emma.

The fiery showdown between the siblings will lead to Emma's secret being revealed and leave Ross to seek an explanation from his troubled mother.

Whether Ross can forgive Emma remains to be seen, but the storyline forms part of a must-see week for Emmerdale which also features Sammy Winward's final scenes as Katie Sugden.

Tracy could be a good character away from Sam as you said more with Val and Eric

Emmerdale's Katie Sugden takes the bait in tonight's dramatic double bill (February 5) as she follows Aaron Livesy's instructions to uncover Robert's affair.

Aaron (Danny Miller) decides to go ahead with his drastic plan to expose the truth after he confesses his love to Robert and is rejected in return.

As the secret lovers meet up at Wylie's Farm, Aaron urges Robert (Ryan Hawley) not to make the biggest mistake of his life by going ahead with his wedding to Chrissie later that day - but Robert fires back by claiming that their relationship was only ever about sex.

Struggling to cope with the rejection, Aaron texts Katie (Sammy Winward) details of where they are before seducing Robert at the farm. How will Robert react when Katie turns up and takes an incriminating photo showing them kissing?


Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.
