Ha ha...Mo Mouse is a very well known and funny poster on the Digital Spy soap forum (particularly well known for his loathing of Corrie's Simon and Leanne :D). I take it you're another victim of the forum's over-zealous moderators and have been permanently banned and are looking for a new home. Mona Lisa is another DS victim who sometimes posts here now.
You won't know me as I'm a lurker only on DS but I've read and enjoyed many of your funny posts. I hope you stick around here although you'll find it very quiet after DS. Soapboards is more of a "big fish, small pond" kind of place these days.
I don't think you'll find anyone agreeing with your need to birch Simon Barlow here though! :D

Coronation Street schoolboy Simon Barlow looks set to cause problems for the Nazir family in an upcoming storyline.
Young cast member Alex Bain, who plays Simon, has been spotted filming comic scenes on location in Manchester with co-stars Marc Anwar (Sharif) and Qasim Akhtar (Zeedan).
As previously reported, future episodes will see Sharif and Roy Cropper end up sharing an allotment together - which quickly leads to them falling out over their opposing ideas and dividing the patch into two.
Subsequent scenes were filmed this week, showing that Sharif will later recruit his grandson to help out on the allotment - only for Zeedan to lazily get Simon to do the work while he sleeps in the shed.
Unfortunately, once Zeedan wakes up, he is horrified to find that Simon has mistakenly planted on Roy's land - which is bound to cause even more tension with the cafe owner.

Sharif reveals Simon's big mistake
Coronation Street's producer Stuart Blackburn has previously announced that Roy's allotment saga will lead to him making friends with a troubled new female character.
Blackburn told Inside Soap last month: "Roy meets a widowed lady over on the next allotment. She's not going to be a love interest, but someone who Roy will feel obliged to help guide through the world.
"We know how nervous Roy is around people he doesn't know, so the fact that he's able to come out of his shell and offer real, redemptive support to a complete stranger is a sign that the Roy we all know and love is back."
how come Simon is on the allottment. does'nt make sense unless Leanne has got them childminding now
where have these allotments suddenly sprung from?
I seem to remember allotments being mentioned ever so often in the past, I think Jack had one??? but don't remember them actually being shown. Guess they fit in with the storyline of Sharif and his chickens - The Good Life springs to mind :D
Violent Simon Barlow attacks Amy McDonald
There is going to be plenty of drama in the Barlow house over the coming weeks as troubled teen Simon Barlow sets his sights on a new victim.
For months he has been abusing his mum Leanne Battersby, but in shock scenes to be aired later this month Simon will attack his cousin Amy McDonald.
The two kids are left alone at Ken’s house and it’s not long before Simon’s anger gets the better of him and he attacks Amy. But seeing as she’s Tracy Barlow’s daughter the youngster doesn’t take his abuse lying down and quickly tells her mum what happened.
And Tracy hits the roof when she finds out Simon was violent with Amy, sparking a mouthy bust-up with Leanne.
An insider told the People: “The Barlows are going to be central to Coronation Street in the run up to Christmas.
“The close-knit family will be put under extreme strain and viewers will be left wondering if they can get through the turmoil.”

Viewers have seen Simon spend months abusing Leanne (Jane Danson), and Corrie's new plot will see him attack his young cousin.
The storyline will feature the two being left alone at their grandad Ken's house, and Amy will tell her mum Tracy about the incident.
Back in September, Danson admitted that she had some doubts over the domestic violence storyline.
"But the way it's been done is quite clever," she added. "He's a child who's been through so much with his dad, with the alcoholism, and he's lost so many people in his life. She's been the one constant, so she'll never give up on him."

The trouble with giving Andy cancer or another serious illness is that it would be extremely strange if Liz didn't go too. I can't think of a good reason to have Steve away from Michelle, Liz and his businesses for months to be honest.Quote:
