Adam is unhappy who else is involved in the heist as Ross talks through the final details…

An unexpected turn of events leaves lives in danger on the day of the heist…
There is a surprise in store for Chas.

Friday 15th August
The fallout from the hold up sees lives completely torn apart…
Developments in the village leave Chas in emotional turmoil.

Ross might use explosives for the safe, heaven help 'em if that's the case.

Wish adam would get killed off and know aarons back which will more weeks of screen time dont understand why the producer thinks we care. More interested in charity/ cain story hope he gets rid of moira

I do hope this means Adam is finally getting the comeuppance he deserves he has got a way with too much for too long. I think he shoots Donna

Emmerdale Picture preview: Will Aaron save Adam? 11th-15th August

It’s the day of the job and emotions are running high…

Adam assumes his position outside the courthouse, ready and primed to warn Ross when club owner Stephen leaves to return to his business.
But little does Adam know, someone is watching him…

Adam’s part in the job goes horribly wrong when he’s interrupted out of the blue by his old friend Aaron.
Desperate, Adam tries to stop Aaron interfering…but could it already be too late?

Later on, Chas dreads what Adam’s dragged her son into. As the best friends meet up, Aaron tells Adam they can’t stay in the village - the police will be looking for him - so the pair head to the Cricket pavilion to decide the next move. Adam’s desperate to get hold of Ross and collect his money but unable to get him, heads to find Donna instead.

As Aaron realises how messed up Adam is, can he save his best friend from self destruction?

Monday

Both Katie and Debbie have concerns over Andy's temper and Debbie confronts him over shouting at Sarah. Victoria is also worried for her brother.

Later, Andy pushes a devastated Katie away, telling her that he only got back with her because she was the safe option. Victoria is worried to hear they have split, but a heartbroken Andy explains to his sister that he is afraid to be with Katie as he is worried about what he will do to her. Andy insists that he loves Katie too much to hurt her.

Meanwhile, Rakesh is moving in today and Jai is non-committal when Rakesh asks if he will be helping them move. Jai later does his best to irritate Rakesh by dropping a load of possessions on the floor. At the same time, much to Alicia's annoyance, David is desperate to help them move, eager to get to know Rakesh better.

Elsewhere, Declan makes an effort over his relationship with Noah, even covering for him over a broken window. At the same time, Charity breathes a sigh of relief that Debbie will cover for her regarding her financial situation - she still doesn't want Declan to know that she has given Cain the money.

Also today, Jai plans a posh dinner with Megan. He tells Leyla it's best they stop their affair, but can they?

Finally, Finn gets wind that Adam is heading abroad to see Aaron and asks to tag along, while Marlon is troubled that Donna hasn't posted her resignation letter yet, reminding her that more time at work means less time with April.


Tuesday

Katie is down now that things are over with Andy, while he is just as distraught. Bernice is hopeful that Andy will want her back now he has finished with Katie, but Megan soon thwarts her.

When Diane returns, Victoria tells her about Andy, so they agree to go and see him. Diane comforts Andy, knowing that he is scared of his own anger. She then talks to Katie, who heads to see Andy. Can they talk things through?

Meanwhile, Ross is anxious to hear from Gary and get the fine detail for the job. Ross tells Donna that he has made plans for them and April to all leave together when the job is over. Inwardly Donna is crushed, knowing that won't happen. Ross picks up on her hesitancy, but can Donna continue to fob him off with her evasiveness?

Elsewhere, Megan and Charity continue to spar and later when Megan is on the phone to a flirty client, she sees a chance to cause trouble between Declan and Charity. Will Charity take the bait?

Also today, David feels clumsy around Rakesh. Leyla is also worried to hear that Rakesh and Priya are coming to the pub and tries to escape, aware that Rakesh knows about her affair.

Finally, Donna tells Marlon that she wants a quiet party for April, as it's the last birthday she has with her.


Wedensday

It's April's birthday, and Donna is grateful to Marlon for organising everything. Later, Donna masks her unease as she sees Gary North and Ross is worried when the villain appears menacingly.

Back at the party, Bob entertains the kids while Donna struggles to remain calm. She slips away from the party and Adam reels to discover that Donna is involved. He wants out, but Donna urges him not to back out now.

Ross hands out mobiles ready for the assignment but Donna is called away to a crying April, who has hurt her finger during the party. Donna tells Marlon that he has to work harder to look after April without her. Marlon wants the truth to be told and Donna agrees, but only once tomorrow is over with.

Meanwhile, Charity is all dressed up for her client meeting with Harvey, and although Declan says he trusts her, there is a flicker of unease as he watches her head away. On meeting Harvey, Charity is disarmed by his good looks and charisma. Will Charity be tempted and will she secure the deal?

Elsewhere, Tracy enjoys having power over Robbie.

Also today, Andy arrives home after seeing a therapist. Victoria and Katie are both pleased that he is taking action.


Thursday

It's the day of the job and Donna puts the first stage of the plan into action as she slips a laxative into Swirling's drink to detain him a while. Donna then meets Ross and lies that she is packed and ready to go once the job is done. A steely Donna warns Adam about the seriousness of the day's events, emphasising that their lives are on the line.

With Donna's stern words ringing in his ears, Adam assumes his position outside the courthouse, ready and primed to warn them when club owner Stephen leaves to return to his club. However, unbeknownst to Adam, someone is watching him.

Over at the club, Donna and Ross are both dressed in police uniforms. They explain that their warrant gives them full rights to search the premises. Unfortunately, soon Adam's part in the job goes horribly wrong when he is interrupted out of the blue by his old friend Aaron. A desperate Adam tries to stop Aaron interfering, but could it already be too late?

Meanwhile, Laurel is shocked when Marlon admits that Donna has not started chemo and only has weeks to live.

Elsewhere, Charity enjoys flirting with Harvey. She is looking forward to their business negotiations, but is caught off guard when he suggests going back to a hotel in Harrogate. Will Charity succumb?


Thursday (2)

At the nightclub, things have gone terribly wrong as Donna desperately tries to continue as planned. She tells the now-returned owner Stephen that she has a warrant, but will he be fooled?

At the same time, Adam tells Aaron that Ross and Donna will be in trouble if he doesn't stop the club owner Stephen finding them in his club. Seemingly on side, Aaron insists that he is driving and the pair screech off.

Back in the club, Stephen grows suspicious when things don't seem to add up and he punches Ross in the stomach. With Ross beaten and Donna cornered, their fate looks bleak…

Meanwhile, Adam and Aaron are hiding under a car. Aaron tells Adam that he came back to stop him doing something stupid, but it's clearly too late.

Elsewhere, Moira and Chas are concerned to learn that Adam left with his passport.

Also, Chas is shocked when she calls Aaron and gets a UK dialling tone.

Finally, Laurel plans a day out for April tomorrow.


Friday

Marlon is playing with April as she asks where her mum is. He assures her that she'll be back soon. Outside The Woolpack, Ross retches as he is overcome by how the day has unfolded. Debbie approaches him and is shocked by his violent mood. Ross is then sick to the core when he sees police officers arriving at the café, knowing exactly what their visit will entail.

Debbie unintentionally serves Ross one final blow and he realises that Donna was lying to him all along. Debbie is worried and tries to stop him as he heads out into the village to tell everyone the truth, hell-bent on retribution…

Meanwhile, Chas dreads what Adam has dragged Aaron into. At the same time, Aaron tells Adam they can't stay as the police will be looking for him, so the pair head to the cricket pavilion to decide the next move. Adam is desperate to get hold of Ross and collect his money, but unable to get him, he heads to find Donna instead.

Elsewhere, after a conversation with Megan, Charity calls Harvey, telling him that she has reconsidered his offer. Will she tell Declan?
