I personally can't believe Carl is going to cheat on Chas with Eve. I think once Chas finds out she will be heartbroken I don't think she will ever forgive Carl for his affair with Eve.:)
There is already a thread on this
Emmerdale star Suzanne Shaw has revealed that her character Eve Jenson may become unpopular with fans because of an upcoming storyline.
Eve will begin an affair with Carl King and Shaw has admitted that viewers may not like seeing someone come between Carl and his girlfriend Chas.
Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, she said: "I was really excited when I found out Eve would be having an affair with Carl. But I quickly realised it would make me very unpopular with the majority of Emmerdale fans because everyone loves Carl and Chas together.
"So I’m preparing myself for all the trouble it’s going to cause. It’s a great storyline and I have no idea how it will all turn out. There’s also the small matter of Chas. It’s going to take some doing for Carl to keep it from her.
"It would be a brave or a stupid man who tests Chas but Carl seems determined to give it a go and Eve certainly isn’t one to hold back. One thing’s for sure, if Chas does uncover Carl’s dirty secret he’ll be wise to sleep with one eye open!
"It’s a really juicy storyline to have been given and there’s lots of naughtiness coming up. Eve never ceases to amaze me. She’s a great character to play as she can be so shocking."
She added: "It’s been nearly six months since I joined Emmerdale and it’s just flown by. It’s hard work but I’m enjoying every minute of it and the soap is buzzing at the moment. There are so many huge storylines coming up and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out with Eve and Carl.
"But whatever happens you know that with Eve and Chas being at the centre of it all it’s going to be very dramatic. It’s not going to be an easy time for Carl at all. I know the affair goes on well into the autumn and there are going to be a few twists and turns before it all reaches a climax this Christmas."
Emmerdale actor Tom Lister has claimed that Carl's fling with Eve will anger viewers.
Lister, 32, revealed that his character's previous affair with Lexi led to abuse from fans, although he insisted that he still enjoys playing his alter ego.
He told Holy Soap: "I don't think he'll be very popular when this plays out. People like Carl and Chas and when I'm blowing that I'll suffer abuse like when Carl and Lexi got together.
"In the end everyone loved Lexi and hated what I did to do her. I try to cut a fine line between being loved and hated."
Lister continued: "It's good to play characters with good and bad sides because it's like real life. Nobody is all good and all bad. People have all sorts of faults and failings and lots of redeeming qualities as well."
He added: "It's part and parcel of job when you're in a soap that a few million people watch. People have lots of opinions they want to share with you, good or bad."
I thought Tom Lister said in an interview that they are not having an affair, just get close to it. Looks like scriptwriters can't think of anything else these days than letting people cheat on their partners :(
Perdy I read this interview as well but it looks like the writers have changed their plans. What is the point of Emmerdale spliting Chas/Paddy up for Chas to go back with Carl for him to break her heart again. It will only go round and around with Chas leaving him then going back and Aaron kicking jack sh*t out of Carl
I know, so predictable and boring :(
Emmerdale star Tom Lister has admitted that he thinks his character Carl King is meant to be with Chas Dingle.
The on-screen couple's relationship is tested when Carl has an affair with Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw), but Lister said he hopes that they continue their relationship.
When asked who the right woman for Carl is, he told PA: "I think Chas. I think in many ways they've been through so much yet they've always found each other through the most trying of circumstances.
"I think Chas and Carl are probably meant for each other but in many ways impossible together because they are constantly messing up what they've got, which is so good. It's normally my fault, but hey!"
Speaking of Carl's affair, Lister added: "He thinks he's having his cake and eating it. He doesn't want to hurt Chas but she's oblivious. Eve knows things are still great with Chas yet she's still there being a willing recipient and ready to be there when he needs her.
"He's a bit of a horrendous individual when it comes to stuff like that. He's very selfish and self involved."
Emmerdale star Suzanne Shaw has revealed that viewers can expect to see a new side to her character Eve Jenson as her current storyline continues.
The flirty blonde's latest plot has seen her grow close to businessman Carl King (Tom Lister) - and the pair are to embark on a full-blown affair in the next few weeks.
However, speaking to Take 5 magazine, Shaw explained that fans will see Eve feeling guilty over the clandestine relationship because she is fond of Carl's partner Chastity Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
Shaw commented: "The good thing about this storyline is that the viewers will see a softer side to Eve. She's become close to Chastity and we'll see her struggling with her conscience."
The actress has been part of the Emmerdale cast since the beginning of the year, when she signed up following a number of West End roles.
Reflecting on how she has settled in, Shaw added: "I love being in such a tight little family. Everyone watches out for one another. But I was terrified on my first scene. I had to walk through the village and it was a really emotional moment.
"Luckily, my on-screen gran Shirley Stelfox has been a real mentor. She's stern both on and off camera, but she's been amazing and has given me lots of technical advice."
Suzanne Shaw has admitted that she is not interested in relaunching her pop career.
The Emmerdale actress found fame after she won a place in the group Hear'Say on Popstars and went on to appear in musical theatre. She also won the 2008 series of ITV's Dancing On Ice before joining the Yorkshire soap earlier this year.
During on webchat on the show's official website, Shaw was asked if she would ever consider relaunching her former career.
"I am very passionate about my acting," she answered. "Although I love musical theatre the pop industry isn't something I would want to return to... but never say never!"
Another fan asked the 28-year-old if she prefers acting or singing.
"It's a hard one," she said. "I'm just very lucky to experience all kinds of things in the showbiz world!"
Emmerdale stars Tom Lister and Lucy Pargeter have confirmed that Carl's infidelity storyline is likely to run until the end of the year :crying:
Over the past few weeks, viewers have seen Lister's alter ego begin a steamy affair with Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw), while Pargeter's character Chas Dingle remains clueless about her partner's antics.
Speaking to DS at the TV Choice Awards last night, Lister revealed: "We've got a really big few months playing out."
Pargeter added: "Carl is going to have to be eating a lot of protein to keep up with his storyline! Let's just say that he's going to be looking a bit tired around the edges! We've got a long-burn, a slow-burn to the exposure of the storyline. It'll see us through well until Christmas, I think."
I would not be surprised if there was going to be an unwanted pregnancy/abortion/adoption storyline coming up *yaaaaaawn*
I hope not though :thumbsdow

Next week on Emmerdale, Jimmy's in for a shock when he catches Carl (Tom Lister) and Eve on the sofa together.
Have Carl and Eve been in touch while she's been away?
“Yes - via their 'affair' mobile. They've been texting and calling each other. Carl's excited about Eve coming back - especially if he can get out of the holiday he booked for Chas and himself. He booked the trip to Lanzarote in the hope it would stop her from being so suspicious.”
But won't she be even more suspicious if he doesn't go?
“She's not because Jimmy backs up Carl's claims that he's got too much work on. She's not happy that Carl's not going. For a while it looks like Charity's going to take his place but then it turns out that she can't go either. Finally Carl persuades Katie to go with Chas - he's so determined that Katie go, he even says he'll pay. When it's all been arranged, he feels very pleased with himself. Chas is happy because she's still going away while he's delighted he'll have two weeks of Eve with no distractions. He really is a rat and is just thinking of himself.”
Is Eve pleased when she returns to the village?
“Delighted. It's obvious she wants more than just being Carl's bit on the side. Although he undoubtedly gets off on the excitement of a secret affair, he does care for Eve, too.”
What about Jimmy in all this?
“When Carl is forced to admit to Jimmy that he’s been sending sexy texts to Eve - and vice versa - Jimmy’s despairing of his younger brother. He can’t believe Carl’s being such an idiot. I think the only reason he decides to act as Carl’s fall guy is because he’s trying to protect the one constant in Carl’s life - i.e. Carl’s relationship with Chas - even though this gets him into trouble with Nicola. But this doesn’t have much effect on Carl. Selfish as ever, he just wants to keep on being with Chas and Eve. So long as he’s off the hook, never mind about anyone else.”
But then Jimmy turns up and catches him and Eve on the sofa!
“Eve’s really embarrassed and quickly leaves. Carl tries to make out that this is the first time they’ve done more than flirting but Jimmy sees straight through him. He says that unless Carl finishes the thing with Eve, he’ll tell Chas. Jimmy’s disgusted with Carl and his lies. It’s all beginning to crash down around Carl’s ears - he thought he had control of the situation but he doesn’t at all.”
If he’s forced to choose between Eve and Chas, who will he choose?
“He can’t choose right now. He wants them both! His head probably says Chas - she is the love of his life - but he can’t give Eve up. It’s a mess. Maybe it won't be Carl making the decision. If Jimmy does tell Chas, I can't see her forgiving Carl.”
Emmerdale star Tom Lister has admitted that he does not expect Carl King to end his current love triangle any time soon.
In recent months, viewers have seen the actor's character embark on an affair with flirtatious Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw), while his partner Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) remains clueless.
Next week, Carl will face a huge dilemma as Eve encourages him to make a choice about who he wants to be with. Although the businessman vows to dump Chas in the heat of the moment, he soon begins to regret his hastiness.
Speaking ahead of the episodes airing, Lister commented: "He can't choose right now. He wants them both! His head probably says Chas - she is the love of his life - but he can't give Eve up. It's a mess."
Carl also faces a second ultimatum next week when his brother Jimmy (Nick Miles) threatens to tell Chas everything if he does not end his fling with Eve.
Lister added: "Maybe it won't be Carl making the decision. If Jimmy does tell Chas, I can't see her forgiving Carl."
Suzanne Shaw recently promised that the storyline will get "bigger and better" as Christmas approaches.

Carl rashly agrees to break up with Chas, but does he really intend to leave his girlfriend and go public about the affair?
He won't get away it. Charity will be watching him like a hawk she will find out it's Eve he's messing around with soon.
Suzanne Shaw has revealed that things will finally start to go wrong for her Emmerdale character Eve Jenson later this year.
In recent weeks, Eve has embarked on a steamy affair with businessman Carl King (Tom Lister), who is already in a relationship with feisty Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter).
Speaking on Lorraine earlier today, the actress confirmed that fans can expect the storyline to reach a climax at Christmas.
Shaw commented: "There's a big lead-up, and it will mean that Eve does get her comeuppance. I think it's about time as well, because she's been getting away with a little bit too much since she's joined.
"I think it's time that she gets a little bit of a taste of her own medicine, so that will be a big lead-up to Christmas Day. It's going to be a slow-burner."
She added: "But it's great to see these little things that happen along the way - she doesn't quite know why they're happening and at Christmas Day she realises why they happen!"
Shaw has previously confessed that she is "really excited" over the future of the storyline.
Maybe Carl puts her up the duff. Or she catches a sexual diease passes it on to Carl, who then gives it to Chas.
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has hinted that her character Chas Dingle may start fighting "really dirty" once she discovers the infidelity of her partner Carl.
In next week's episodes of the ITV1 soap, Chas finds a mystery bra at Mill Cottage and realises that Carl (Tom Lister) must be having an affair. After some detective work, she later finds out that Eve is his other woman.
Discussing how Chas reacts to the shock discovery, Pargeter explained: "Her knee-jerk reaction is to confront Carl and Eve. But Charity stops her, telling her she must look at the bigger picture. [Charity says] Chas should go all out to get revenge - Chas eventually agrees.
"She's very hurt but can see the sense in what Charity's saying and she wants to make him pay!"
Meanwhile, asked how Chas plans to get even, the actress replied: "Initially, it's just little things. She can't resist - at the village bonfire, she sticks a toffee apple in Eve's hat when Eve's not looking and all the toffee gets stuck to her hair!
"Next on her list is Carl. She ups her game, sneaks into his office and deletes all the files on his computer. Not surprisingly, Carl's extremely annoyed. But Charity's constantly on at her to up her game and to start playing really dirty."
Suzanne Shaw, who plays Eve, recently revealed that there will be "a big lead-up to Christmas Day" as the love triangle storyline progresses.
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has admitted that she is feeling nervous about being at the centre of a major Christmas storyline.
The actress's character Chas Dingle will soon start plotting revenge on her partner Carl King (Tom Lister) and his secret lover Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw) when she discovers that they are having an affair.
Speaking to We Love Telly, Pargeter confirmed that Chas's attempts to get even will play out on screen over the next two months.
Asked how far Chas will take her scheming, she replied: "As far as Charity will convince her to, with the pay-off at Christmas."
Discussing the pressure of being part of a festive storyline, Pargeter added: "It makes my stomach churn - it's a massive responsibility."
The star also claimed that Chas would outmatch Eve if the pair ever had a catfight, explaining: "She's known for smacking people - and she's a Dingle."
Chas uncovers Carl's betrayal in this week's episodes of the ITV1 soap.
Emmerdale star Suzanne Shaw has admitted that there will be embarrassing times ahead for her character Eve Jenson once Chas Dingle starts plotting her revenge.
As revealed last week, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) will soon become hell-bent on getting even after discovering that her partner Carl King (Tom Lister) has been having an affair with Eve.
Chas initially takes a slow-burn approach to her scheming, playing small tricks on Carl and Eve in a bid to make their lives awkward.
Speaking to We Love Telly about the storyline, Shaw explained: "Eve and Carl have no idea it's part of Chas's drawn-out revenge."
Meanwhile, commenting on what will happen as Chas's plans become more serious, the actress added: "When I read the scripts, I went red. I feel embarrassed for Eve as she will get completely humiliated."
Shaw also offered her take on who would win in a catfight between Eve and Chas, admitting: "Definitely Chas, who has used her fists all her life. We'll find out because there is going to be a fight down the line."
The story of Chas's revenge is expected to reach its climax at Christmas.
Lucy Pargeter has thanked Emmerdale fans for their support following a positive response to the launch of her latest storyline.
In last night's double bill of the ITV1 soap, the actress's character Chas Dingle was left devastated as she finally discovered that her partner Carl King (Tom Lister) is having an affair with Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).
Emotional scenes in yesterday's episodes saw Chas prepare to angrily confront the pair, before Charity Tate (Emma Atkins) convinced her to bide her time and plot some revenge.
Writing on Twitter last night, Pargeter commented: "Wow!! I can't believe all the tweets I've had, usually I can reply but bugger me there's been loads!! Thank you so, so much, I'm really touched."
She added: "We have and still are working hard on the storyline but never have I had so much support, thank you to all of you who have tweeted."
Pargeter recently confirmed that the tale of Chas's revenge will be a slow-burn storyline which has its "pay-off" at Christmas.
Meanwhile, Suzanne Shaw has admitted that Eve will be "completely humiliated" when Chas gets even.
Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has revealed that she will be filming scenes for the soap's Christmas Day episode today.
Writing on Twitter last night, the actress confessed that she is feeling both nervous and excited about shooting the show's festive edition, which is expected to feature the climax to her current revenge storyline.
In recent days, fans have seen Pargeter's feisty character Chas Dingle plotting to get even after discovering that her partner Carl King (Tom Lister) has been having an affair with village temptress Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).
Pargeter told her online followers: "Ooooh big day filming tomorrow, Christmas day!! Glad the weather is looking so crap for the village! Sitting in front of my fire trying to take the warmth into my bones, gonna need it tomorrow!!
"The pressure is getting to me, such a big end to the story - I want to do a good job but having a little wobble and can't learn my lines. I hope you all enjoy it when you're tipsy and full of turkey."
The star insisted that she was unable to reveal any storyline information as the plot of the Christmas episode is currently being kept under wraps.
She added: "Wow so many responses, fingers crossed you enjoy! I'm gonna thank you for all your support."
Maybe there's a big Christmas lunch at the pub with the whole villiage there and she humiliates them both in front of everyone.
Do Chas know Carl killed his dad? Maybe she lets that out also
Anyways Chas is going to fake a pregnancy
Chas's revenge storyline takes a new twist in Emmerdale later this month when she makes the shock decision to propose to Carl.
Following a series of petty pranks which have targeted Carl and his secret girlfriend Eve, Chas gets serious as she becomes hell-bent on humiliating the love cheat.
After inviting almost everyone she knows to The Woolpack, Chas waits until the pub has filled up before getting down on one knee and asking Carl to marry her.
Carl and Eve are both left stunned by the shock development, but what will this mean for them? Will Carl accept the public proposal? And what does scheming Chas have in store for the wedding day as she plots the ultimate revenge?

Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has hinted that her character Chas Dingle may face a tough time as she continues to scheme against her partner Carl King in the weeks ahead.
Chas will soon take her plotting to a new level by proposing to Carl (Tom Lister) in a packed Woolpack before later lying that she is pregnant with his child.
The latest developments form part of Chas's long-term plan to humiliate Carl after discovering that he has been cheating on her with flirtatious Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).
Speaking of Chas's pregnancy lie, Pargeter told All About Soap: "Everything spirals out of control and it just sort of slips out. Chas is determined to get Carl down the aisle as quickly as possible, so she suggests they have a Christmas wedding.
"But goodness knows how long she'll be able to keep up the façade of a fake pregnancy too - she's certainly got her work cut out for her."
Pargeter recently admitted that being part of a major Christmas storyline is a "massive responsibility".
Chas Dingle is currently waging war on Eve Jenson and Carl King as she secretly plots her revenge against their affair.
The two women, played by Lucy Pargeter and Suzanne Shaw, may be fighting for Carl's heart - but who would win if things came down to a cat fight for their man?
Lucy told Inside Soap magazine: "Chas would definitely win if she and Eve had a fight - Chas has used her fists all her life.
"I reckon we'll find out one way or another, because the girls are bound to have a scrap at some point.
"Eve and Carl deserve what's coming to them, but I do feel embarrassed for Eve as she'll be so humiliated."
Chas is plotting to expose the cheaters and break their hearts in return after proposing to Carl, pretending to be pregnant and asking Eve to be bridesmaid.
But Lucy said: "At the end of the day, though, Chas is heartbroken and will always love Carl - despite the fact she really hates him right now.
"The revenge is helping a little bit, but not much."
When Chas finally boils over, Eve could be heading for one heck of a slap in the face!
Tom Lister has predicted that his Emmerdale character Carl King will be left distraught if Chas Dingle goes through with her plans to humiliate him on his wedding day.
This week, fans have seen Chas (Lucy Pargeter) pop the question to Carl and falsely claim she is expecting his baby - prompting him to commit to a long-term future with her.
However, unbeknown to Carl, Chas's actions are a complete façade as she is plotting revenge following her discovery of his secret affair with Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).
Speaking to Soaplife about the storyline, Lister explained: "He'll be gutted if Chas has the balls to go through with her revenge plan - and it won't just be his pride that's hurt… He was thrilled when Chas said she was pregnant. He's really happy about the baby. He wants to give Chas whatever she wants - a big Christmas day wedding, anything to make her happy."
The actor continued: "He realises his fling with Eve was a massive mistake, based on excitement and lust. He wants to become a proper family with Chas and the baby. He'll be devastated if it all comes crashing down."
However, asked whether he feels sorry for Carl, Lister replied: "I don't. He's behaved appallingly and he's been a complete fool."
Emmerdale's Chas, Carl and Eve storyline is expected to reach its climax in the soap's Christmas Day episode.
Come on Chas go through with the plan don't give in lightly. He'll cheat on you again if he gets away with it.
mmerdale's Chas Dingle will suffer from a case of the jilt jitters this Christmas.
The vengeful brunette - played by Lucy Pargeter - had planned to leave cheating fiance Carl King (Tom Lister) at the alter after discovering he'd been enjoying a steamy affair with Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw).
However, when the pair experience a saucy night of passion the night before their nuptials, Chas has second thoughts about leaving the businessman high and dry.
Lucy explained: "Chas is having massive doubts about her revenge plot. She's seriously thinking about going through with the wedding. She's in love with him and thinks he genuinely loves her too.
"What makes it even more confusing is that she and Carl sleep together the night before the wedding. Chas knows he's finished with Eve, and just wishes the wedding was all true and that she was going to be happy from now on.
"Chas has forgiven Carl before and feels as though they're meant to be together - so she could possibly get past this."
However, the bolshie bride-to-be isn't the only member of the wedding party suffering from last-minute nerves, as Carl is terrified his scorned former mistress will ruin his big day.
Actor Tom Lister - who plays Carl - added to Inside Soap magazine: "Carl is worried sick that Eve will destroy the day and he could well be right. She's very capable of it.
"A bit of Carl is panicking. He didn't want to hurt Eve, but she's just not Chas. As time goes on, he's realising just how much he loves Chas."
Emmerdale actress Suzanne Shaw has insisted that she would never become involved in an affair like her character Eve Jenson.
The actress's alter ego is currently at the centre of a dramatic plot for revenge after feisty Chas Dingle discovered that partner Carl King had had an affair with Eve. However, the former Hear'say singer told The Mirror that she would never cheat and would not forgive her husband Jay King if he betrayed her either.
"Cheating is a no go," she said. "I'd never do it and Jay knows he'd be dumped if he did. I've never put up with it in the past, and if a guy did that to me, that would be it, there are no second chances. But I’m in a very trusting relationship."
Shaw admitted that the couple's first year of marriage from June last year had been tough.
"I wasn't frightened of committing, but I was anxious it would change our relationship and we would start taking each other for granted," she said. "Our first year of married life was tough and I think a lot of people experience that.
"It was the move from being partners to married and learning how to keep the excitement alive. Now, I couldn’t wish for it to be any better."
She revealed: "On our first anniversary in June, Jay surprised me with a weekend in this beautiful village where my favourite movie The Holiday was filmed. We stayed in a cottage and ate in the restaurant from the movie.
“Luckily, he's not bothered if I'm romantic - the way to his heart is through technology so I buy him gadgets."
Lucy Pargeter has revealed that there is a chance her Emmerdale character's sham wedding could turn into the real thing.
In an ongoing revenge storyline which reaches its climax next week, the actress's scheming alter ego Chas Dingle has proposed to partner Carl King (Tom Lister) and lied that she is expecting his baby.
After discovering Carl's affair with village temptress Eve Jenson (Suzanne Shaw), Chas was determined to humiliate him at the altar and pocket some of his fortune. However, in recent days, she has started to have second thoughts.
Speaking to Soaplife, Pargeter explained: "Even Chas doesn't know which way she's going to go. Forgive Carl and marry him, or go through with her revenge and humiliate him for cheating on her with Eve?
"She's still in love with him and she genuinely thinks he loves her. She just wishes it was all true - the baby, the marriage, everything."
The actress continued: "She's seriously thinking about going through with the wedding, then trying to explain to Carl afterwards why there is no baby, no cars, no honeymoon and so on."
Chas's wedding day arrives in Emmerdale's Christmas Day episode.
