I'd like to see Glenda return. She's one of those characters I find entertaining even though I'd like to strangle her. She and Archie were certainly well suited. Maybe she could get together with Gavin and form the ultimate villainous power couple.

I read Paul Nicholas was committed to other work when he signed on to play Gavin, which is why he's only been seen briefly so far. Hopefully, when his other work is done, he'll be able to commit to EE full time - until he's inevitably killed off! :DQuote:

However, they've made a good start by having Gavin convince Sharon he cares for her and helping him to escape, even after he initially made it clear he had nothing but disdain for her (plus Phil's kidnap of course!). Why did DTC and colleagues decide to name Stacey's baby after an iconic character if he's not even related to the original Arthur Fowler? It makes me suspect Stacey has made a mistake, even though it's unlikely the hospital would have. Still, DTC does like his improbable twists...
The guy tried to drown his mother, and then had the audacity to call her, to get her to get him a good lawyer. The notion that he would suddenly grow a conscience and confess seems highly improbable now. He's so deluded with his innocence, I bet he could kill Shirley right in front of a million witnesses, and still say it weren't his fault.Quote:
