So have I. Why can they not make it consistently good instead of one or two episodes per month. I really feel thats it probably due to having different writers for each episode. After all if each of us on here wrote a consecutive episode think of the dogs dinner that would be. Maybe the folk at Elstree dont talk to each other hence the half baked storylines and numerous personality changes. :searchme:Quote:

Why is Lacey Turner being used to prop up this dire Ruby/Juley story. She is clearly the better actress out of her and Louisa Lytton, last week alone proved that.
Ruby is the worst friend ever. Juley is a vile creature and if it wasn't for the fact that I've read the spoilers I'd say they completely deserve each other.
Oh and it's nice that Alfie and Little Mo can be completely at ease with each other. Despite the fact that they haven't been in the same scene since it came out that...oh, he two-timed her with Kat. And he broke her heart. And had sex with Kat while she was upstairs. So nice that they can be so free and friendly when discussing Honey's love life, so nice they can laugh together about the dirty text messages.
Dear lord, did the writer even watch the show??
And on a similar note, what bird has nested on Little Mo's head and why hasn't she noticed yet?
Oh dear that was not very good at all.
Ruby and Juley - who cares? I don't.
Gary and Minty - a poor man's Chas 'n Dave.
Billy and Honey - Boring. Why do they waste the likes of quality actors in Perry Fenwick on the worst storylines. Honey is like Lil Mo, a drip.
EE cannot do comedy, well not that sort anyway. They should watch some of the older stuff and learn, like Ethel's little willy for example.
Pauline and Mr Benn - If it had been anyone other than Pauline I may have liked it. What does Mr Benn see in that witch anyway? :searchme: Still not taking to Joe either, though I don't think that's down to the acting side of it.
Alfie and Nana - a bit dull. I'm not too keen on Nana but I'd rather it was Shane Ritchie leaving Walford in a box this week rather than Hilda Braid.
Only nice bits were Ian and Jane as usual. :)
Christopher Reason wrote the episode. He wrote the brilliant rape of Kathy by Wilmott-Brown all those years ago, that really memorable stuff. What on earth went wrong 17 years later? :(

It's not even the quality that's annoying -- if it was like that all the time I just wouldn't watch. It's the fact that they can have an amazing week like last week and then just go downhill the next.
Corrie and Emmerdale have weekly get-togethers with the writers, whereas EE does it monthly.Quote:

The Minty/Garry/Billy/Honey/Alfie thingy - had to admit it was a bit funny, especially when Minty goes 'some complete swine ... who doesn't have a life' I like the Honey/Billy thing for some reason, so it's sorta sweet lol
The Twins Party - 12 years old and still having a tea and cakes with Auntie Pauline
Pauline and Joe - I liked Joe at first cos he was like a sweet man for Pauline and she needed a bit of love but must he act like such an idiot?
