That is fantastic news!! Well done.. this site gives you a fantastic review and for all the Parkerman fans, a little insight into the man himself: http://www.elginism.com/20101108/3204/
Wow you are just fabulous Parkerman well done.
I'm going to a conference in London with the guy I like tomorrow. It beats spending the weekend on my own as Gary and Dan have gone away with their girlfriends so I'm home alone until Sunday night :( I'm not sure if he likes me just as a friend or something more. I got butterflies when he sent me a message on facebook earlier (I sound like I'm 12!) and just thinking about him makes me smile. I feel like my brain has been invaded as I don't ever get this squishy squirmy feeling.
I would love to go to the British Museum, I have to write an essay on the Benin Bronzes and there is a good display in the BM - the NMS is being refurbished and the ones they have are not on display. I have asked if I can see them, but they are too busy getting ready of the reopening in July :(
I've been to the British Museum, its really good. The Egypt and mummies display was brilliant.
I've got a sore throat and sore ears. :( We had briefings from the Principal this week on the cuts. 54 members of staff to go before August. 25 Lecturing Staff and 27 Support Staff. I'm alright just now but there are some friends who's jobs are going those of us who are left will get extra work landed on to them without any extra money.
