Marcus 'fixed' whatever it was, turned the power back on, the lights came on then went off again so the overload or leakage was still there, then he 'did' something and turned it on again and said that should be ok now.
What did he do in a few seconds so it stayed on? There is no user adjustment on a circuit breaker or RCD to increase/decrease the rating/sensitivity.
