Yes, Marcus could have looked at the electrics instead of wasting time sitting in the cafe. Seriously, if Marcus said he would try and look at the electrics, why could Charles not have waited to see if if he found the time.

Surprise! Surprise! Naomi did not hit Charles over the head. - Manpreet, someone trained to make considered decisions, hope she does not treat her patients in the same way. Patient says they have chest pain, Manpreet without examining them, says it only indigestion, next day heart attack.

Would the police arrest and detain someone before actually know a crime has been committed?

harriet was off duty in plain clothes too and took naomi in on manpreet's word

I don't think Naomi's attitude helps her.
