I hope they stick to that line and turn their investigations on her, otherwise it will add to how negligent social services can be.

I watched again. The SW knew that she was Hope's sister because Jade was accusing Fiz of not knowing that she was because she said she had told them. There then followed a scene where the SW was questioning Jade . Then the SW phoned Tyrone and told him that she Jade under investigation. So it can't be because she lived in the same house as they did . Under investigation means they suspect something, I should think.
The reason the SW said Jade couldn’t look after the children was because she had lived in the same house as them when they were being abused, so, yes, she is under investigation as well, but not because the SW particularly doesn’t believe her.
If you still have the recording, the relevant bit is 4-5 minutes in during last night's second episode.
Does the cat have a name?
I need to declare myself on Team Dev.
where is steve's dog rover
There was some appalling acting in "Corrie" tonight, dreadful third rate, unfunny frivolous fun.
paula has it bad for tracey
Dev really is a petty minded git isn't he? I'm not sure his reasons would work at any tribunal.
Can somebody explain why Fiz is in trouble with the police for buying a shotgun for the second hand shop where she took it and it was locked away immediately by Gary before it got stolen. Fiz bought the gun in good faith, thought it was decommissioned and left it with Gary, her employer. ??
Only reason I can think of is that she did not have a licence, which I would think you need before buying a gun. But I don't think this would be seen as a very serious offence, since she believed it to be decommissioned. - A very contrived situation. - Presumably Gary wanted to keep it quiet because he does not want the police to take a closer look at his business dealings.
Soooo Geoff has lived in the house for a long time, never showed signs of sneezing, coughing ... suddenly he sneezes because of a bit of dust .. :hmm:
Has Beverley callard fallen out with the producers? It would seem to be the only thing that explains the clothes the wardrobe department choose for her.
I think this is indicative of the fact that they are struggling to come up with new believable storylines, Geoff is just becoming ridiculous as is this nonsense with Tim and Sally. Sally is acting like a drama queen any normal person would just laugh off the situation, after all Charlie has agreed to a divorce.
yasmen a drinking muslim and geoff a clean freak
He's definitely got nastier. I can't believe he talked Yasmeen out of going to the pub the other night. Of course, he could have gone with her but then he wouldn't have been the sole focus of her attention. And the cleaning obsession is, for him, the perfect way to keep her at home and hopefully away from anyone who might get suspicious or keep her away from him. Thankfully it looks like Cathy is starting to realise what's happening but it will be hard to confront someone like that. And I can just imagine everyone else's reaction if she tries to tell them: "Geoff's a bully? But he's always so nice! You must be imagining things!" or words to that effect.
I find it hard to have sympathy for Fiz, too whiny and even the actress playing Hope does a better acting job than Jennie
If we used that as a basis, everyone in Corrie, or indeed, soapland in general would be guilty of heinous crimes.
I must admit to really liking Kate Ford as Tracey, in the past she was written as pretty much a two dimensional villain and I don't think she's quite as bad as she used to be. Even her arguments with Leanne don't seem to have quite the same rancour to them and it's nice to see her being sincerely sympathetic to Daniel. Perhaps Mary has been a bit of a good influence on her even if she could drive a Trappist monk insane.
I did like and enjoy the scenes with Nina and Roy and the talk of Hayley who is missed
