Pantherboy ... that must be the best crimbo present... I know how you feel after my man bits scare .
Yes I am, been doing sooooooooooooooo much shopping for Christmas food, ( turkey gets collected on 23rd) all that's left is presents which aren't many.
ASDA shop ... always an adventure.. land lady bought 40 swiss rolls. 20 packets of icing sugar and most of the frosting sugar... while in the booze aisle some bloke was lambasting a stranger about their taste in spirits by saying that they may as well stick it in a paper bag and go drink it in the local park :rotfl: The guy my size six foot odd turned to confront the guy who suddenly said "i was only joking" he certainly wasnt :ninja: I was waiting for that tannoy call. "clem up required customer spilling blood and teeth in aisle seven"
Having a Chinese takeaway tonight, the word Chinese is always a sore point with me as back in the day I helped publish the local phonebooks and entered one shop as a Chinnnesse restaurant... :ninja::rotfl:
Abyway Im looking forward to my Beff chowing main
Caught the bus to Eastleigh, on the way back part of the bus fell off, the driver wearing his ickle santas hat made for an incongruous figure trying to retrieve it from the road, all the while everyone was asking what was going on, some poor gent who obviously had "ticks" made everything more weird.
Oh and when I was in a shop a girl said at the checkout "shall I add this celotape for 1 pound to your order" I just said "no" ... it amused her and me and I managed to keep dead pan.
Across the road the neighbour has gone Christmas lights bat **** crazy.
Long story so will cut it short. I went to a house to scan a stray cat that turned out to be a stolen pedigree cat and my life is not my own anymore. The women assaulted the owner of the cat when she went to collect it. There are photos of her bruises etc then she threw the cat oyt in the backyard so the owner could not get it. She now claims the cat never came back. But same day she went to her mums....where i think she took the cat
Cats protection and police have been trying to get it back. But last police visit there was no cat and they are not checking mothers home. She has been sending me nasty texts and i reported her to the police. Now i have been given a formal warning to not harrass her. Unbelievable!!! I will be putting in a formal complaint as the woman is unhinged and i do not feel safe. She has totally fooled the police and they are not taking the violent attack seriously. I am so shocked she must be laughing. The cat is part of a pair that were homed together after having 5 lots of kittens. I believe she bought the cat and it was not a stray
That's awful  Sounds like something you'd see in a soap! Hope you're OK and don't get any more bother. Do you have a number blocking facility on your phone to block her?
I had to report my car being scratched this morning. Its only 2 years old and cost me a lot of my hard earned money. My insurance will not cover it as its 47cm and they only cover up to 30cm with this £400 scratch policy i took out, The police appear to have linked it to the women who took the cat for mow and are coming to see me again tomorrow. I am supposed to be working on my presentation for a job interview but i am pratting around with this. I have an interview for a job to work at the Grenfell Tower site. But with all this going on i will be a wreck before i get there. Maybe its not meant to be!
Luckily i have a nice christmas dinner to look forward tonight at Jamie's Kitchen so i will feel better by the morning.
swmc66, this is a serious post not one of my mainly insane ones.
Speaking as someone who knows a lot about harassment laws and post rated advice on a dedicated site about it.
If the police have issued you with a desist notice in contacting an individual either directly or indirectly and that will include reporting them to the police post the issue.
Sorry to shout this BUT DO NOTHING GAIN.. dont be baited into doing something or act because you feel in the right.
The second you signed that letter of desist behaviour you entered a period that anything you do now to interact with this person may lead to your arrest and prosecution.
If you get even just a police caution over this matter it may screw up any chance you have getting a job.
Luckily it was an email and a first instance letter and she got one too i found that out today. So i never had to sign anything thank goodness. The police officer today said he does letters not emails and gets people to sign.
Sorry that makes no sense! You have either been warned off by the police or not? (life isnt dull for you swm, keep us up to date on this saga it fascinates me)
anywho.. moving on .
Ever been on a bus when the mother places a kid maybe 5 ish on board, then tells the driver give me five minutes and I will be back then runs up the road... well I have... to be fair she was back in 4 minutes :rotfl::rotfl: If I had been the driver I would of thrown the kid off and driven away ... guess thats why Im not the driver. :cartman

I can only go by what last police man said. The email said this was my one and only warning.
That lady on the bus is highly irresponsible!
How did the police get your email swm? The answer is they didnt and they wouldnt send any contact to anyone via email.
Ive consulted with some of my colleagues on this, the Police have to come to see you in person, they have to explain the issue then you sign a letter/form saying you understand that you must not contact directly or indirectly the person that has complained about you.
Now it is important swm that you dont let it go that far, if you do you then would fail any enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (ECRB) check. That means job wise any employer who does that check will see it. We have seen several people being issued this letter who the Police have never seriously looked into and it has messed with their job prospects. Be aware that some evil types know they can screw with people legally like this. The classic one is to do one against an ex partner, then invite them round and then tell the Police they were an unwanted visitor = arrest an prosecution.
Anyway ... like I say non of us have ever heard of police issuing warnings by email, there are some scams involving fake Police emails .. if they do come knocking on your door I advise you request legal advice and dont sign anything. Like I say if you do it will come up on any enhanced check.
He had my email as i sent him an email at one stage.
From what you describe i have not have a formal signed warning between me and the police so hopefully will not be on my records as such.
I was only following instructions from cats protection. He said any further contact WILL BE seen as harrassment
I hope it does not affect future jobs as i work in health and social care.
I am no law expect, but I do know that they would have to talk to you in person before anything goes on the record.
To be honest most Police officer really dont want to get involved in this kind of thing, took me three years to get my harasser issued a warning and even then it was a nightmare trying to get them to act on anything after that and the guy was threatening to kill me.
Anywho, just wanted you to have a heads up swm.
The FOG is coming peoples , stay in bed if you can its going to be havoc out there. :ninja:
I got a malicious communication last week - a christmas card with a threatening message in it - not had my crime reference number yet. Police man had rung up on Friday and said he'd text it me. Do I chase them yet?
Yes, chase them. The first women officer I dealt with did everything in her power not to help me even down to listing ME the victim, as harnessing her They just dont want to deal with these kinds of cases. (but its the human factor, the first one may not want to know the next one I got was brilliant)
I would ring up 101 and make an appointment for an Officer to come see you in person, they do that now as they dont use their stations. Show the officer the physical evidence and get them to advise you. 101 is the non emergency number. (im not sure what issuing you with just a crime number would achieve via text isnt that more to claim on insurance etc I never had one until I made an official Police statement)
Im not an expert Rear Window just someone who has been thru it and know quite a bit about it.
Have a brilliant Christmas and dont let this twisted twonk spoil it, but yes make the Police do their job.
Thank you.
I've got a crime reference number via the local GMP fb page message thing.
the guy who'd rung said it would be passed on to someone else - and that he'd text me my crime number.
I might send a scan of card through to the fb pcso. That'd probably be more effective than trying 101. (I was told if 101 doesn't get answered quickly then it's put you into a mad loop where you'll never get answered)
All I will say is, that this person knows where you live and didnt attack you via twitter or any social media. The Police get tons of those sorts of reports you have physical evidence and unless you push this they will do nothing. I dont blame them our government is under paying them and cutting their jobs. Just be safe Rear Window and enjoy crimbo.
Anyone else dreading Christmas day...
Land lady has installed Alexa!!!!!!
Alexa really dosent understand me telling her exactly where she can stuff herself :cartman:
I've managed to give a bag of presents with labels and no names on some of them!
[QUOTE=Kim;890677]I've managed to give a bag of presents with labels and no names on some of them![/QU
Were they meant to go to same family? Maybe a phone call can explain ... if they are meant for different folk in different places, it will be a tad more difficult ..
They are all for one person thankfully, put into the correct bag so everyone has the correct stuff. One of those people that won't let you forget it though. Thanked them for mine and the response was, "Hope the labels are written!"
sounds like a nightmare Kim...
* passes over a schooner of egg nog*
Land ladies sprogs are coming, I know im their uncle and all, but its not doing good with me anxieties.. me nerves as they used to say.. well at least one isnt with the bod with love and hate on his fingers any more, his full moustache freaked me out last year... nice gezza tnou.
Seriously who ever invented the talking plastic turd in the kitchen needs a very good talking to with a mallet.:cartman:
Is that aimed at Alexa Splashy? Philip Schofield had the delightful task of having her and the Google one on one of those 'How To Spend It Well' shows. Now I wouldn't want either but I thought Google seemed more useful.
Siri does me, only bother with it when I want a song identifying mind.
i wish i could cook like mary berry or have her cook for me
happy holidays everyone
Yes Alexa.. I cant now just switch on the radio in the kitchen I have to plead with some bit of plastic tat to do so, then it gets all sarcastic when you tell it to do something basic like insert itself in itself after youve ranted at it for the 15 minutes to reduce the volume.
Dont get me started on Siri, there isnt a cold bathroom in hell that would be able to cope with the appallingness of that entity, I would rather be stuck in a unending debate with Joey Essex than have that voice on my phone.
I mean who buys Iphones anyway??? Over priced and born of a man who went out of his way to make all his computers so you couldnt upgrade them , you just had to buy the new model.
Guess what i got for crimbo .. it begins with an A :wall::wall::wall::wall:
Mind you annoying as it is it came with a wifi socket which it will turn on and off anywhere in the house.. I have my evil thinking cap on about how to use that to annoy land lady :cartman::rotfl:
I hope everyone had a good day
Alas not ... insert loads of bleeps
Christmas was ruined by our house alarm. My husbands alarm fob was playing up so he had to sit in the house for 2 hours with the alarm going off every 15 mins. In the end the alarm company phoned me at my mums as my husband was unable to verify himself on the phone. So i had to go home early. Engineers coming to fix it tomorrow now. What a pain.
Funny thing our cat decided to sit it through with my husband rather than exiting via the cat flap. I thought they had sensitive ears! Must have felt sorry for him
