I loved the mention of Pauline by Kathy, "Your Grandma Pauline would be so proud of you!" You forget Bex is a Fowler with all the Branning clan around. I love how EE is bang on the button when it comes to actual events like the A level results, although it was part of the Bex storyline. I have really warmed to the Ahmeds. I thought it was a lovely touch with Callum when his face lit up while reading those letters.
Is Honey going to do something to Adam while they are away. Perhaps she could turn into Kathy Bates? I do hope so! A nice scene with Max and Bobby. Funny how Bobby prefers to be around Max more than Ian. It is great that Stuart has now redeemed himself. Will he hear Mick's faint cry for help? Of course he will.
did not expect lucy "return", new bobby playing a blinder
Sick of all the family and friends going on about Bex going to Oxford. Can't they see how she doesn't know what to do? It's her choice.
The Duff Duff was a surprise, a little too Hollyoaks for my taste, but I hope they do not live to regret it. I am not sure it is a good idea to have the Islam story running alongside Bobby's mental health issues.
I really like the Bobby and Max scenes
How is Max not fighting Rainie for custody, she has no job or home?
Why did Halfway not ask Jay or Lee to be his best man, who is going to give Whitney away, Ryan?
ben should be afraid now phil sort of knows all
Steve McFadden was excellent the scenes with Kat and Phil at the end were very compelling to watch.
new ben overacts, where's the vodka phil, why is ben protecting stacey now?
Jack going back to The Bill :p
The scenes with Mick were well done especially in the kitchen of the Vic. Lola gave Phil food for thought. Nice to see Bailey smile, that would have made a nice Duff Duff, showing the stars in the sky. I think Chantelle might regret giving the money to Bailey. I don't really care about Mel and Munter Hunter.
The weakest episode of the week. Too much Mel and Munter Hunter for me. And ditch the music this is EastEnders not Hollyoaks!
On a positive note the Honey and Ruby scenes worked well.
rainie is abi's primary carer, how? she kidnapped her and was homeless
ian could kick her out, keep abi
"I checked on the Internet to find out the best tablets, Hunter, and by a great stroke of amazingly good fortune, they happened to be the ones right on top of the trolley at the hospital."
I did laugh at Mel cracking that fish tank, still not interested in the Mel/Hunter storyline. Charlie Winter as Hunter is not the best actor to be honest and is only eye candy for the tenny boppers.
I did like the Bailey scenes with Anita Harris and the bond with Keegan is lovely. The Jean and Daniel scenes were very good again and I liked the Mick scenes at the Dr's.
ben sure gets beat a lot
ash seems fun
be honest callum
Highlight of the episode Rainie chocking on a plastic Willy. EastEnders always do the stag and Hen party's better than Emmerdale or Corrie. A great Duff Duff, can't wait for tomorrow.
no talk of lily and ryan or any of bianca's brood at whit's wedding
Isn’t Ryan in the trailer tho. The person looking at halfway in the club.
whitney face it, he's gay, ben didn't corrupt him
Where was Kat and Bex for the hen?
I think Whitney needs to be loved and not alone that she is settling to stay with Callum and still marry him even though it is clear he is conflicted, does Whitney know his friend Chris from the army that died was a male in love with him, did she find the letters?
The scenes with Whitney and Ben were electric and I just loved the subtle way Ben looked at Mel in those scenes, under played beautifully. It is a shame we did not have more Sharon/Mel scenes that could have been a good friendship.
louise and bianca back, bianca in jail with kat
whitney's dress is awful
Patsy Palmer was very good as Bianca, it was like she had not been away. The scenes with Kat were good as were the Mel and Lisa scenes. Linda and Mick provided light relief, Even Keanu was good tonight, not quite 10 but certainly a 9.
Good to see Winston at the wedding. He hasn't been around much lately.
Where did Mel get all the cash from?
Did she take it from the safe in the club?
now ben and keanu have chemistry, callum expects alot of whitney to keep his secret and be blamed, hope bianca tells all
I loved the Branning reunion apart from Robbie. Patsy Palmer was excellent, I loved her putting Linda in her box. Everybody thought it was Whitney who was to blame.
The Hunter storyline is ott a cross between Emmerdale and Hollyoaks but it is very watchable. I also liked Lisa putting Phil in his place. Ben is like a punch bag, who is going to belt him next? Thursdays episode is going to be good if the trailer is anything to go by.
Who was the guy Tiffany was speaking to at the register's hall, at first I thought it was Gray but did Bianca know him?
I am glad Tiffany did not marry Callum, she does deserve some happiness and of course everyone is assuming she cheated on him
Just out of interest...Can anyone remember any wedding in EE that went off smoothly without any drama?
