last night emmerdale was really good especially sadie and chas fight lol, and daz's mum was well nasty to him its good hs finally gonn have a proper family as he then might settle down and the writers might not make him so naughty. but i dont think matthew is a muppet but it was funny when chas said it
Maybe I'm missing something obvious here but how is Terry now in a position to put an offer in for the B+B? Dawn's house is worth nowhere near as much and she wasn't exactly well off so I don't suppose she's left lots of cash in her will.
yeah i was wondering that too when the will was getting read and the lawyer mentioned something like 125 000 to go to terry and any thing over to go to tj.
correct me if im wrong but didnt dawn go to prison for working on the side because of her financial difficulties???
another thing puzzling me is why does he and jean want to buy it, actually why is it still standing its called a bed and breakfast but when was the last time you saw customers in it? its hardly a safe investment is it
Yes I have to agree I was disappointed that Matthew had no input in the Sadie/Chas fight and that he just stood there with his arms folded. A while back Matthew was looking very dark when he threatened Sadie, also recently he told Tom that she'll get her's (Re House collapse) and that he was going to make sure of it, but the next time they came face to face in the office, where he told her that he was putting the Haulage business back into King and Sons, he seemed to go all "Heartbroken" and hurt again. I was hoping for more of his ruthlessness and this sudden darkness which had surfaced, so the last couple of Sadie confrontations has left me disappointed. (I suppose at the end of the day, Matt is going through the "motions"). However it wasn't all bad last night with Matt we did see his anger and a bit of ruthlessness towards Chas/Carl, also we saw a few of those famous facial expressions. He really is a good character a lot of the time and of course my fav:love: (male)
Tom was the one who stood out for me last night with regards to the Kings, he was just cracking me up and Ijust love the way he keeps everyone in order, even Chas!
Back to the rest - liked seeing the fiesty Chas again, she's been too quiet recently, loved the way she was dragging Sadie around like a rag doll! Patsy Kensit's acting is just getting worse and she is sounding more and more unconvincing. However Chas seems to be wanting everything her way, o.k when you love someone you except them wholely and unconditionally but there also has to be some give and take and espec loyalty. I loved the way Carl told her to shut her gob:lol:
Chas isn't being loyal to Carl by telling him that she'll discuss what she wants with who she wants even if it's Kings business, a bit out of order there. I have to agree if Chas continues like this and with upcoming events, I don't think Carl and her will be together much longer. I loved the look Tom gave Carl and the way he rubbed his fingers down his jacket, after Chas told him that he had to accept her for the way she was or find another girlfriend.:lol:
Glad that Diane and Jack have taken Daz under their wing and Diane got rid of that horrible "Gobby" mother by giving Daz the money to pay for the damage to the car.
Loving Andy/Jo. Still don't like Jamie.
Viv was on form again, back to her old self wanting to know all the gossip!
Overall still excellent writing and viewing.
Loved Cain again this week.
We had another lovely Cain/Sam scene when Cain hugged him. I particularly like it because one minute you see Cain slightly soft and caring then the next you see him back to his womanising and bad boy ways scheming with Sadie.
I'm hoping that Cain will double cross Sadie, (with a little "persausion" from Matthew), that really would be the cherry on the cake for me.:)
Glad that Bob/Terry were able to sit down and discuss Dawn's "mysterious" money which appeared to surface in her Will.
All in all once again another excellent week of writing and acting in the Dales:)
I didn't like Tonight's episode, mainly because it had some characters i don't give two hoots about, and was just slightly boring IMO.
Yet again another top quality episode. Alll the ongoing storylines are ticking along nicely with some coming to a conclusion soon. All this and a Sadie free episode. Brilliant
It was great to see Rosemary Sinclair back in tonight's episode, will we be seeing her more often in the show now or was this just another one off appearance?
Yep, Rosemary is going to be in it more regularly now. :cheer:
