I agree with most of that, the only part i don't really is the Sharon part. She is what makes the X-Factor for me.

I do like Sharon, and I think some on the comments she makes (especially in the auditions) are hilarious, I just find it annoying when she puts old women who can't sing a note through, and people like that. And also the fact that she seems unable to give any criticism or negative comments.Quote:

One question- Why the hell are the MacDonald Bros still in? i dont understand! they are so rubbish! I dont think that Ashley should have gone last night because i felt that there were more people who were worse than him like The MacDonald Bros and Nikitta! But im glad Robert was saved!!!!!! he was brill why wa she in the bottom 2?? I love Eton Road last night loved Simon's comment: "How camp was that" lol
he does not, the best decision by a country mile, not only was he right to ditch the out of tune and bland Ashley but it made great television and was absolutely hilarious, well done Louis I say. Him and Simon arguing all night was the better then the acts singing Louis 'I won the show last year' speech was genius. I do love Simon but he was a bad loser and must be tone death if he thought Ashley was great, the guy dances like a puppet, has nothing special about him and isnt a great performer at all.Quote:

LOL.. I love Eton Rd too. I thought it was cute the way they all had a subtle bit of red in their outfits (except the blond one who had bright red trousers..). Anthony's so adorable! When all of the others are dancing he's just standing their doing the wrong thing, looking way out of his depth! He's so sweet, and at least he's not as horrible to look at now he's put a bit of weight on (he looks like he has, anyway).
But I think it would've been a bit unfair if Nikitta was in the bottom two just for one nights bad performance, when other acts have been bad consistently (like I think Ashley's been bad for most of the weeks).
The MacDonald Bros.. well, I don't really have an opinion of them 'cause I don't think they've been off-key or anything like that, just plain and boring, but they seem like such nice guys that I can't bring myself to insult 'em! :D
I HATE Ben so much! Him to go next week! I doubt he will, though.. :(
Do you mean that weird thing he does with his hands..? I thought that looked pretty ridiculous, too.Quote:

Watched the omnibus today and I just can't believe the yawnfest brothers are still there. I really can't get my head around it.
Quite surprised Ashley went, i'd have much rather Robert had left. :thumbsdow Did you see Simon's face at the end!! :ninja:
Can I just say, I LOVE ETON ROAD!!!! They are sooooo fab. I can't help but smile when they are on stage and Anthony is adorable. I love the way he always seems to be in a little world of his own whilst the others are all dancing around him. Also how amazing were the Dorothy shoes?!?!?
LOL! That's EXACTLY what I was saying yesterday! :D He's so cute! It was really noticable yesterday, when all of the others were clappong their hands and he was just standing their doing nothing.Quote:

Cowell fury over camp jibe
SIMON Cowell has hit back at rival X Factor judge Louis Walsh after the pair traded “gay” taunts.
Simon, 47, sparked the row after telling Louis he had a “massive unfair advantage” during the camp ABBA-themed night on Saturday.
Louis then dedicated Eton Road’s performance of ABBA hit Does Your Mother Know to Simon, joking: “Simon, does your mother know . . . you’re out?”
The spat worsened when Louis gave Simon’s act Ashley McKenzie the boot. Simon refused to go on ITV2’s The Xtra Factor, locking himself in his dressing room.
Last night he said: “I called him spiteful because he used something personal against me to affect someone’s career and I don’t think that’s acceptable.
“Louis’ behaviour was a joke. His decision was purely spiteful and tactical. Now the viewers won’t get to see Ashley at his best — because Louis felt like being spiteful.”
Louis, 54, called Simon’s non-appearance on The Xtra Factor “unprofessional and childish”.
Yesterday he refused to be drawn into whether he had questioned Simon’s sexuality.
He said: “My retort to him was Does Your Mother Know? I’m just leaving that open. I’m not going anywhere with that one. That’s all I’m saying.”
FLAMING BRILLIANT, THIS IS WHAT WE LOVE ABOUT THE X-FACTOR, AND YOU HAVE TO SAY THERE IS NO SMOKING WITHOUT FIRE, AND SIMON WOULD NOT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT ASHLEY :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: MAYBE MR COOL LIKES A BIT OF YOU KNOW ! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
X FACTOR favourite Anthony Hannah was left speechless after Cherie Blair told him off in public.
The PM’s wife met the Eton Road singer at a glitzy awards bash last week and mocked his spiky hairdo.
Cherie shocked onlookers by telling embarrassed Anthony, 17: “If you were my son you wouldn’t be allowed to leave the house looking like that.”
One onlooker said: “It was a pretty rich thing to say, given how Cherie is hardly known for her fashion sense.
“She’s often pictured looking dreadful. And as for the comment about her son, well you only need to look at some of the pictures of Euan Blair to know that’s blatantly not true.
“That goatee he often has is far more ridiculous than Anthony’s hair.”
Anthony, who performed in stunning red shoes on Saturday, told ITV2 show The Xtra Factor: “She made me feel so small. If it was Kate Moss I might have taken her advice.”
He later told pals: “I was a bit stunned so I didn’t say anything. But what I really wanted to say to her was ‘likewise’.”
Cherie ... would never let her son leave the house looking scruffy
VETERAN crooner Julio Iglesias will be next week’s guest coach — as predicted by TV Biz. Louis Walsh said: “They won’t be ancient ballads, we’re choosing songs from recent years.”

Louis and Simon in furious bust-up over gay insults on X Factor
By Fiona Cummins Showbiz Reporter
SIMON Cowell and Louis Walsh had a blazing row after slinging gay insults at each other during X Factor's first live show.
Bodyguards had to pull the feuding judges apart seconds after the cameras stopped rolling.
Cowell later stormed off the set without telling anyone, snubbing ITV2 spin-off The Xtra Factor.
Walsh was furious at personal jibes by Simon in which he said he had "a massive unfair advantage" during a "camp" Abba night.
He then hit back: "Simon, this song is dedicated to you... it's called Does Your Mother Know."
An X Factor insider said: "It was a humdinger of a row. You could cut the atmosphere with a knife.
"Louis was seething. He was screaming at Simon about how he is so smug and he had gone too far with the personal attacks.
"Simon's bodyguard Big Tony had to step between them because it got so heated. We all thought Louis was going to deck him."
The judges composed themselves for the results show, which saw Simon's act Ashley McKenzie and Sharon Osbourne's contender Robert Allen in the bottom two.
The insider went on: "Host Kate Thornton was told not to dwell too much on their comments in case it kicked off again.
"Simon was urging Louis not to get rid of Ashley and he was absolutely livid when he sent him home. Simon packed up his stuff and walked out of the building without speaking to anyone.
"When The Xtra Factor started, no one was even aware he left." Sharon called Cowell but their conversation did not go well.
The source went on: "She really laid into him about how he was becoming too personal, particularly when he deliberately called the MacDonald Brothers by the wrong name. She said he had overstepped the mark and was vicious.
"But Simon insisted he'd done nothing wrong - and hung up."
Yesterday, Cowell, 47, defended his actions - and branded Walsh "petty and vindictive".
Asked if he regretted his personal attacks on Louis, he told the Mirror: "No, I think he would have voted Ashley out anyway.
"I think the public cares more about my opinion than his.
"I'm angry because I thought Ashley was very good and don't believe he should have gone.
"I was annoyed because I don't believe you should be tactical when you vote in this show. I would even kick my own acts out, if necessary.
"In the real world, if Louis was given the choice of working with someone like Ashley or Robert, there wouldn't be a second's hesitation. He'd take on Ashley.
"He knew that Ashley had a much, much better chance of going forward in the show. I called him spiteful because he used something personal against me to affect someone's career and I don't think that is acceptable."
Asked why he did not want to appear on The Xtra Factor, he replied: "I wasn't interested. I would have regretted what I'd have said and it wasn't worth it.
"I'll be having words with him in my office. I want a quiet word. I'll give him a reality check."
But Louis, 54, hit back at Cowell yesterday, calling him "childish and silly". Referring to his personal attack on Simon, he said: "My retort to him was Does Your Mother Know? I'm just leaving that open. I'm not going anywhere with that one. That's all I'm saying."
He added: "I had to keep Robert. He's passionate, he cares and he always delivers.
"Ashley wasn't right. He looked great but he was in the bottom two two weeks in a row.
"Robert is so dedicated and enthusiastic. Ashley had a talent but wasn't using it and didn't seem to be as hungry as Robert."
He added: "It was unprofessional of Simon not to do The Xtra Factor. If Simon is so passionate about Ashley, he should give him a record deal."
Meanwhile, Ashley, 20, the fifth act to be voted off after his rendition of Winner Takes It All, said: "Louis obviously wants to win and Simon had all four acts left. I wouldn't say he was spiteful, he's just in it to win and had to get rid of one of us.
"It was Simon's decision to make me sing like that but I was more than confident and didn't think I was out of tune. I wasn't disappointed at all. But it wasn't my genre of music."
Around 8.5million people tuned in to Saturday's show.
EVEN THEIR MENTOR CAN'T BELIEVE THE MACDONALDS SURVIVE AGAIN
LOUIS Walsh's look of amazement says it all as the MacDonalds survive the public vote for a FOURTH week.
His unfancied Scots duo got through despite Simon Cow- ' ell savaging their performance of ABBA's Fernando.
Cowell told brothers Craig, 20, and Brian, 19: "It was ' a mediocre, very Scottish version of Fernando with the worst guitar solo I have ever heard in my life."
Louis told the Mirror: "I was surprised they made it after Simon's bucket of abuse. If they were in the bottom two, Simon and Sharon would have sent them home."

Walsh's gay gag sparks Cowell fury
06/11/06
FURIOUS Simon Cowell stormed out of the X Factor studio after cheeky Louis Walsh taunted him with a gay jibe.
Telly’s “Mr Nasty” looked stunned when the former Westlife manager Louis took a swipe at his sexuality.
Louis dedicated Eton Road’s performance on Saturday night of the ABBA hit Does Your Mother Know to Simon, 47, and then asked him: “Simon, does your mother know … you’re out?”
Nearly nine million people heard their bust-up after Cowell branded Louis “spiteful” for dumping 20-year-old Ashley McKenzie out of the ITV talent show.
Later, in an exclusive chat with the Daily Star, Louis said: “He never gets a joke when it’s aimed at him, so he was a bit confused to start with.
“But he wasn’t very happy when he finally figured it out. That – along with the fact he’d just seen one of his acts axed – he had a real diva tantrum backstage.
“I will do anything to wipe the smug smile off his face for five minutes.
“I chose Ashley because I thought he was getting as smug as Simon and that’s never good.
“Now he’s out I think he should give Simon his necklace back!”
Music boss Cowell has been dogged by gay rumours, despite a number of relationships with women. And after the cameras stopped rolling he was so furious he refused to appear with Louis, 54, on the ITV2 spin-off show The Xtra Factor.
Last night unrepentant Louis hit back, saying: “He thinks he’s the best and can’t stand it when he loses.
“Both Sharon and I have lost two acts, yet we both carried through with our commit-ments on The Xtra Factor.
“It shows what a bad loser Simon is – that instead of acting like a true professional, he swans off into the night never to be seen again. He should be more of a mentor to his acts.
“He’s got far too big for his boots this year and I think that the public are starting to realise that.”
Simon proved he really is a puff on Saturday night by smoking at the judges table during ad breaks – contravening health and safety rules.
A show insider said: “Simon likes his fags and he is a law unto himself. What he wants, he gets.”
I'm starting to dislike Louis - his comments about Ray having to change his genre because he was bored of it etc, yet doesn't say the same to Ben even though his genre never changes - he's more like the diva at the moment IMO.
I like Simon Cowell - I'd rather be told the truth about my abilities, straight up like he is, rather than be pussy footed around.
that is true but I still think Louis made the right decision on Saturday getting rid of Ashley..Quote:

I respect Simon Cowell alot but he has pushed is like once to many times and its right that Ashley should have gone!
I am pleased Louis has said the things he did, because it might make Simon think abit more before he opens his mouth. He should have been more professional and stayed for the Xtra Factor, having read the reports it makes you wonder if it is all staged because Strictly Come Dancing has beaten them the last two weeks ? ? ? ? ? ?
Ok we no The MacDonald Brothers are not going to win, but they are the underdogs that you just want to back, like Chico, and as Kate Said on Saturday There is only one winner, so why not let the top ones go out week by week to make the process easier when it comes to the final? Maria should never have gone before Chico, but she is much the best of last year! Even Shayne Ward !
Since the stuff come out about Kate being replaced has come out, I found her attudiude has changed as in she does not give a stuff, and why would you! Simon should have more respect. My gavin told me once, when I was going to change they way I run my pubs, "why try and change something that is not broke" Simon should take note of that, this idea of theme weeks has been good but equally just as bad.
Ashley would have stayed longer if they had NOT had the theme weeks, The MacDonalds would be far better with up tempo songs such as the one about walking a hundred miles by those ginger singers. Dione would have been far better singing Shirley Bassey and the only person who would have sung Abba well was Kerry, but she had gone too, because of Simon's remarks. She might not have been able to go that far in the show, but she should not have gone yet.
Ray is lovely, he is pretty and a nice guy, but the swing thing has been done to death, people aren't interested anymore. Louis is right, he is more of a performer than a singer, and Ben he might fall in the same section, he has a unqiue voice which suits one style of singing.
Eton Road are these years winners, they are the very best, but they have the scope to improve and they can sing anything that is given to them!
My opinion Mr H x
I'm glad Ashley went he deserved too he was too arrogant and he didn't sing well.
Eton Road to win.
thing was with Ashley, if he didn't like a song he put no heart into it.. at least the other made an effort even if it wasn't their field of singingQuote:

I hope Eton Rd do win, I love 'em and Anthony's so adorable! Also, it won't be an obvious win (like Shayne Ward last year) and I think they would be genuinely surprised if they did.
I can't help thinking that bloody Ben will, though. So many people seem to like him, which I just cannot get my head around.
Does anyone know of a video of them performing on Saturday's show? I really liked it and now I can't get ABBA songs out of my head! Especially 'Does Your Mother Know'. :D
laura if you go on youtube and type eton road in you get loads of there performances come up here is the link for the abba one [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqOrtivq5n0[/ame]
I think Ben will win it simply because he stands out from the crowd, with Eton Road coming a very close second. Mind you who cares about the acts when the two judges Louis and Simon provide the most entertainment.
i think ben deserves to win as he is a fab singer and like you say he is different and there isnt mny people who have the same style of singing so people wont get bored
Thanks! :DQuote:

The bickering pair were at each others’ throats after a string of cheeky jibes on Saturday’s show.
But as this sensational picture reveals, it was all just a lovers’ tiff — and the unhappy couple tied the knot at a secret ceremony at last week’s National Television Awards.
Quiz show host Chris Tarrant, 60 — who is currently suffering his own marital strife — conducted the ceremony dressed as a cider-swilling vicar.
Simon, 47, said: “As much as it pained me to do it — I went ahead because I know it would make Louis’s dreams come true. But I insisted on being the groom, of course.
“There’s no doubt who wears the trousers on X Factor.”
Ironically, the picture stunt — for Heat magazine — came as tensions between Simon and Louis, 54, continued to rise.
Simon is still fuming at Louis dumping his act Ashley McKenzie at the weekend.
And insiders are worried the constant rowing could put the next series in jeopardy.
One source said: “All the judges aren’t exactly getting on like a house on fire.
“They’ve started to wonder whether next year it might be better to have new judges. If that happened, that would mean the end of X Factor as we know it. And it would cause a stink at ITV where it’s one of their highest rated shows.”

X FACTOR favourite Leona Lewis won’t win because she is black, her mum claims.
Marie, 42, said her mixed race daughter would lose out to Ben Mills, 26, if they made the final as viewers prefer white acts.
She added: “There’s never been a black reality show winner in Britain. Racism does play a part. How else can you explain Dionne going so soon?
“Ben can fit easily in.” But Marie, who is white, revealed America is already interested in Leona, 21.

THE first of Simon Cowell's finalists has been voted off The X Factor - but Ashley today vowed to become a star.
After a nerve-wracking sing-off against Robert on Saturday, Judge Louis Walsh sent the 20-year old singing sensation packing.
It left Simon incensed believing Sharon's act should have been the one to go.
But Ashley - who ironically sang Abba's The Winner Takes It All - said: "I may have been knocked off the show, but I'm on the top of the world.
"I'm more determined than ever to achieve my goals."
The youngster thinks he got the boot because the judges and the public misunderstood his confidence as cockiness, a problem he'd been warned about by mentor Cowell.
Defending himself he added: "People are so quick to criticise if someone doesn't have low self-esteem. I can honestly say I'm not cocky at all.
"I've learned not everything is what it seems.
"Anything is possible - just be strong. The world is your oyster."
Before X Factor Ashley had never sung professionally and never once entered a singing competition.
But he said: "I'm amazed I got this far. My nerves are all over the place. Every show feels like your heart is jumping out of your chest."
Now Ashley says he'll be rooting for the person who puts on the best performance each week, although he does confess to having a soft spot for Nikitta.
"She's only just turned 18, yet she's an inspiration," he explained. "She's been through a lot, but just comes out the other side fighting."
The handsome singer has high aspirations for his future and is keen to get started on new projects.
"I can't wait to be a solo artist," said Ashley.
"I'd like to work with as many people as I possibly can, but I think I'm too different to work in a group or be in a boy band with anyone else."
He added: "I want to be creative in other ways, not just vocally. I want to create projects for talented people who can't financially afford to go to the best academies or performing arts colleges out there."
He added: "I want to thank everyone from the soundman to the producer and to all the names I don't know, thanks for getting the ball rolling for me."

What a patronising little toad!
He doesn't wanna work in a boy band 'cause he wants all the glory!
He can 'honesty say he's not cocky at all'? My backside! That doesn't explain his little outburst after he was booted out.
That boy thinks he's such a star, when he is not. 'The handsome singer'.. Simon probably paid them to be nice to him or summat!
And Leona won't win, not because she is black, but because she is boring. I reckon her mother's really shot her in the foot with that comment..
(Sorry about the curse.. got a bit carried away.. :o)
Did anyone notice when the dodgy mike went off in Eton Roads performance. It's near the end when James and David are singing. Suddenly James voice disappears but he is still singing then he looks down at his mike n gives David a :searchme: :searchme: :searchme: It's the bit where they sway from side to side and sing "Take it easy, take it easy better slow down girl". David takes over. Go see for yourselves on youtube. :rotfl:
Well done Eton Road for not letting it put them off!!!
