My Dad is convinced I have it. He asked me what symptoms I have and how long I'e had my cold for... it's only a cold! I'll be fine!.. My Dad doesn't understand this though.
It is scary though to think that there's nothing to be done.. it's spreading and that's that :(
my mum is the same kirsty, if i say oh ive got a headache, its swine flu! i sneeze its swine flu, anything the kids have its swine flu!
god help me if one of us actually did get it, it would be I TOLD YOU SO!!!!!
she keeps telling me to be careful and avoid anyone who may have it and avoid place i can catch it! If im going to get it im going to get it, theres nothing i can do to stop it!
my gran said yesterday that she was on the bus and some woman got on and announced to the whole bus that she was gonna open all the windows cos she didnt wanna catch swine flu off of anyone and then proceeded to lean across people to open all the windows! some people are so stupid!
Its flu........
People without underlying health problems die of "normal" flu every year (36,000 in the US and 5,000 in the UK roughly)
This is just different because its prevalent in pigs - its still flu
It is getting rather ridiculas as i keep saying it is a flu. Like jojo says lots of people die from flu every year.
Micah Richards the City defender caught it on Holiday so is confined in Cyprus and cant go back for pre season training. I found that quite amusing as he is getting more scared about the stick he will receive when it gets back to the team than the actual flu.
