Went on the sister and her bf's Wii yesterday. Feeling those yoga poses today! My Wii fit age is 30. Oh dear! Apparently I have rubbish balance too. :p
Happy birhtday Katy! :cheer:
im going to london with my sis shopping today. though will probably mostly just be window shopping cos i hardly have any money! :( should still be good though :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO VICKYROO!!! lOVE YA GIRLIE!! XXXXX
I hope you had a nice birthday yesterday Katy. Happy Birthday! :)
And also, a happy birthday to Vicky as well! Have a lovely day.
Lots of birthdays recently on here and my own friends. Happy birthday Vicky :)
I'm thinking I should go see the doctor. I haven't been this ill in several months. I've done nothing today, all I want to do is sleep.
Happy Birthday Vicky.
THanks for all the messages yesterday. I had a really good birthday.
Just preparing now for my sailing trip away. Am looking forward to it now. Just have so start packing.
Happy birthday vicky :D and Katy for yesterday.
2 Months 11 days till i turn 18:D:lol:
My hayfevers getting me down, i'm really tired all of a sudden and grumpy and everyone seems to be annoying me! Plus quite a few folk want me to go on webcam which i won't do unless i know you and you're really close to me. I'd rather sleep then do anything else but i know for a fact i'll wake up at 10.30 and won't get back to sleep. :(
Happy Birthday Vicky :)
Happy birthday Vicky :).. even though your birthdya was technically yesterday now :)
Had my last exam today.. and it didn;t even go to badly this time!
Went to egt my tyres changed but they ahd to order them in so I have to go back tomorrow.
I fell asleep, I don't know why I jsut went realllly tired. Then I ended up being 15 minutes late for work because the clock on my phone had stopped at some point, and the radio said it was 20 past 5, but my phone said 5:00 and me being half asleep thought I was hearing things, then when I thought it was like 20 to 6.. it was actually 6, so I had to ring work and explain why I'd be late haha but my manager didn't mind.
She told me earlier that she's looking at leaving me in charge for 2 days when she's on holiday because Adam needs his 2 days off and she needs someone else to take charge... I'm terrified lol. I think it would be great experience for me since it's management I'd like to go into, plus it would look good on my cv... but I don't think I could do it :/ hmm
Ditto that. Happy Birthday Vicky. :)
And go for it Kirsty!
Went for a cycle ride today. Fair few miles along the towpath. I really need new tyres..I don't think they've ever been replaced since I've had the bike. Really worn and the back one doesn't handle well. Skids a bit on gravel.
went shopping in london yesterday which was really good. spent 2hrs in hamleys playing with all the toys lol! there was this interactive dog which is so like a real dog, me and my sis were playing with it for ages! didnt really buy much, only bought 3 tops, 2 which were less than £1 each!
Happy Belated birthday to Katy and Vicky hope you both had a fabulous time. Abigail get to the docs NOW!!!.
I need to start packing soon. Leaving tomorrow morning for a 10 days. Got to go to town in a bit and send a cv to this place my mum was talking to yesterday. So hopefully there may be a job there fingers crossed.
not done much today at all. the highlight of my day was having chips for dinner lol and a strawberry milkshake!
It is a beautiful day today in Edinburgh. Work was fine, no one died today!
My eldest son has morphed by into his usual laid back self now that his exams are over and life is good.
All I need now is for Andy Murray to win the 4th set of his first round match - that guy McKendick (or whatever) is giving him a harder time than expected I think!
Today i've done the washing and hung it out. Going to bring it in, in a bit. Started tidying my room which i haven't yet finished. Mucked about on the net and had a friend round so we were out the back. Weather is fantastic and luckily my hayfever isn't being such a big pain today as it normally is!
My mum was in tears earlier on cause of her driving instructor (she's llearning to drive HGV's cause of her line of work) and he doesn't give them any complaments it's all bad stuff. I asked her if she could change the instructor and she's not sure. But she's sitting her test on Thursday and i hope she passes!
I've had a busy day. Went shopping food earlier and bought half of morrisons. Then picked my niece up from school, had a water fight with her and a picnic. I'm looking for textbooks :wall: Why are they so expensive?
The two main ones I need are 50 and 40 each.
i dunno how they can charge so much! are they quite thick books? amazon sometimes do them quite a lot cheaper (though youve probably already looked there!) and my uni do a second hand book swap thing and if others have the books you need then you can sometimes get them really cheap
Got my tyres changed today so my car is all good :)
Went to town with my friend to see if we could find dresses for the ball.... on Friday. Haha but there was nothing :( so we're heading to Cardiff tomorrow and I will get one there :)
Then I went to the cinema to see the Hangover with a few friends tonight, it was sooooooooo good! I seriously recommend it! Even grown men were absolutely peeing their pants, which I never usually find... Aww I'm still laughing about it now!
going back to uni this evening cos i need to sort something with my new house first thing tomorrow and will finish packing up my room while im there
My book list has grown again. The sad thing is that I actually want to buy these books because they're interesting, not because they will help with my course :ninja: That's so geeky.
How can a 180 page book cost thirty pounds? That's extortionate considering a 600 pages textbook is fifty quid.
Think I'm going to start playing the lottery
I have some premium bonds actually. Might cash them in and buy some books. I've never won anything on them :searchme:
I've just made some ice cream. Been a busy day. Had to go to Maisie's school for a wildlife garden opening and picnic. It wasn't as exciting as it sounds. The headmistress is very patronising, she talked to adults as if they were in primary school.
Newer bonds tend to win bonds more often; maybe get those out and put some different ones in. My dad's had some bonds since he was young as my gran got them for him. He's never won anything on them but he put some in back in October and has won on those.
I'm looking through some photos on facebook of a cousin I've never met and didn't know existed until a few weeks ago. It's strange looking at him and knowing he's family. He looks so much like my uncle and my granddad. It's freaky because none of the cousins I know look like granddad.
My uncle John was a bit of a ladies man in his youth and has at least 6 kids now (four of whom I do know and see, oldest is a year younger than me). This 'new' cousin is in his 30s and also has a brother to the same mother. My mum thinks there's at least one more kid that she doesn't know about.
Thinking about my granddad has just upset me :crying: I haven't seen him for five years because of family troubles. My nanna is an evil twisted woman who stopped everyone seeing him, even his own children and the doctor. Imagine a vicious Alsatian fiercely guarding a piece of meat from another alsation, teeth bared, snarling etc. and you're halfway there to what she's like.
End of 3 very hectic weeks at work tomorrow, I hope things slow down a bit from then on. Still feeling quite upset about my sister-in-law's nasty emails on the weekend, had a very insincere message today that she is sorry but you can tell she does not really mean it. Always thought I got on with her, that is why I feel so shocked and hurt. Luckily I can avoid her, most of the contact was by email and I will not communicate with her in that way again. Feeling quite tired which does not help the mood I guess. All I need is a nice sunny weekend to perk me up again :cheer:
Today i haevn't been up to much just relaxing and sneezing a lot! my mum failed her driving test so it's been scheduled for anonther day.
I was yelling at the blue ray player cause it didnt want to read twilight but finally did after like 12 times of opening/reopening.
My mum was watching Americas Got Talent and Leona Lewis's - Footprints in the sand was playing in the background and i ended up nearly crying.
But all in all today has been a good day :D
yesterday i had to sort some stuff out with my new house. one of the people who was meant to be coming to sort stuff out didnt turn up which was really annoying though
and my grandads in hospital. they said he had a blood clot a few months ago but now his leg has gone really swollen and a horrible colour. and luckily my gran decided he should go up the hospital as the doctor tried to fob him off! (the same doctor who didnt do anything when his finger was infected and he nearly lost it!  ) they were going do an operation on it yesterday but then decided not too, apparently theyve never seen anything like it and dunno what it is
I hope your grandad is going to be ok real soon, good on your gran not to listen to the doctor. All the best xx
