Last time I went to Brighton it cost £11 yay for national express coaches :p
Hmm actually when I went to Brighton it was about 50 quid on National Express :p.
 Brighton's only 3 hours away from me :p We went for the day..But I did spent £50 there...mostly on fudge and rock  oh and a nice top..:p
I'm going back to Bangor, as soon as dads ready. I'm really excited now, It would be better idf there was no exams to work for or coursework but oh well, thats life.
Sings: **I am feeling on top of the world baby.. on top of the world **
I am like 3 long pieces of coursework ahead of the whole class.. and I got 2 A*'s on 2 of them and have to improve my other one a bit more and then I will have another A* on me.. In Drama coursework.. worth 60%!.. So I feel good..
In Business I am doing well coursework wise too and I am ahead of the class (not by far though).. ICT is going alright, last years coursework was an A standard and miss reckons it will be the same this year too..
I have a Science coursework to do for next week which was given to us today, I got an A in my last one and was really proud of that (first A ever in Science!) so hopefully wanna try doing the same or even getting an A*!
I'm a coursework freak at the moment haha!
You know I was saying about that weird teacher.. who asked if I still like Lee Mead? Well she gave me a Lee Mead calender today . It's cool though :p.
Meh.. it seemed like Saturday yesterday because of my birthday.. I really did not want to go to school today! I took cake into school to give to the friends who had to leave early yesterday, and I was just giving it out when the fire bell went off! It was lunchtime and we were aware they don't plan fire practices for that time, so we were all like !
Loads of coursework for Media by Wednesday. We have done all the coursework but some people have like E's on theirs, so we have to do it again. I was quite happy with my last piece, although I'm not sure how many times I will have to nag my teacher before he tells me my overall grade for my coursework.
Also have a History essay to write and research from last week's homework that I wasn't there to get.. fun!
I didn't get my Maths mock back so that was good. I so failed that one.. it was worse than science which I didn't revise for. I think we're going through the Business paper tomorrow, which I'm looking forward to. I'm dying to know my mark out of whatever; all I know is I got an A* So happy with that, I just hope I get the same in June.
Was total worrying today. Exams start next monday althrough im only in 3 days plus tuesday as i need to see my computing and history teachers. Got to write 2 essays this week. Finish off my computing past paper which i will more or likley fail as i know nothing to do with operating systems as it's like really confusing and difficult :crying:
Aww, good luck Tannie. I have a Geography DME next week too - I have to miss the last lesson prior to the exam for my Gran's funeral. I want to do well in the exam, but I can't miss the funeral. Ah well, there are other qualifications and I won't get another chance to say goodbye so what I get in it is what I get. Will be bricking it for the final things in May/June though.
I have quite a few essays to be done, and I have written a title for something that isn't even an essay.
sorry to hear about your gran, the funeral is much more important than an exam.
I am house hunting it is Sooooo stressful.
aww, im sorry to hear about your nan, and even if you went into school you wouldnt be able to concentrate anyway, as i had exams the whole week before i broke up for xmas and my aunts funeral was the thurs, and i couldnt concentrate the whole week, and I know i certainly wouldnt have been able to if I hadnt gone to the funera
Yeah, I struggled to concentrate but was forced to go in. I did go for some days but I don't think I'm really ready to work. Great time for me to get an essay related to medicine as well. I don't know what I'll be like after the funeral; it could result in me taking more days off. I only went back because my mum wouldn't have wanted me under her feet on her birthday and now she's making me go in.
Just spent the day at home cleaning up reading and looking after Nicola as she is ill its been a long day....
I've got another migraine, third in less than a month. I had one on boxing day and another on new year's eve. I'm getting really fed up of them. I really wish I knew what is triggering them, my GP thinks it's hormone related.
I got a letter asking from Canterbury uni asking me to ring the university to arrange an interview time. I got an email back from the woman today and I have to be there for 11am which is a bit of a problem as I live five hours away. I think it's unfair to expect anybody to drive me down there for 11am and drive back in the same day. I'll have to go down on the train the day before and arrange some accomodation, its going to cost me a fortune. I'll gt my train fairs reimbursed from school but I don't think they cover accomodation or food costs. I really don't know if I should go for the interview.
Im in soooo much pain, had dancing for 3 and half hours, ballet was painful, I cant walk!!!
Geography exam today which is my last exam.....lets not talk about how that went
I thought I did ok on one of my physics resits, particles, on Friday. When I got home I realised that some of the constants I used were the wrong ones. I'm not quite sure how I'm going to explain that to my teacher tomorrow when I told him it went well when I saw him after the exam.
I completely failed the mechanics exam for the third time.
Aww; I hate that feeling after the exam that you've done it all wrong. I left a really obvious question out in Biology and felt terrible, and I always think of what I've done wrong in Maths and then think I've failed it. I'm sure you've done better than you think.
Eek, that's a bit of a pain then. I think it's very unfair; surely they know how far away you live; they must have looked at where it was they were sending the letter to ask you to contact them, surely.
I'd go for the interview if you can; you never know if the uni will appeal to you more than the others you've applied for.
i havent written in here in a while, trying to think of what ive done lol!
im back at uni now, came back yesterday evening, its good to be back though my rooms a tip and theres so much stuff on my bed i cant actually sleep on it lol! managed to finish my dissertation which was rubbish and a lot shorter than it should have been. im going to be off to bed shortly i think seeing as ive been up for nearly 40hrs without sleep! surprisingly im not even tired, i think ive overcome the sleepiness lol!
i know this was posted a while ago and you might have got it sorted now, but in my experience dont get involved with guys who have girlfriends. im not going to go into great detail about why its not a good idea cos obviously its mostly just my opinion and you can do what you want, but does your friends girlfriend know about what he does with you? cos ive been in that situation and my friends girlfriend (and in all honestly i didnt actually know he had a girlfriend to start with) found out and went pyscho and wanted to beat me up (i doubt she would have succeeded lol but thats not the point). basically what im trying to say is from experience ive learnt that messing around with someone who has a girlfriend makes things way too complicated and so its better off if you stay well clear. anyway you dont have to listen to me and as i said you might have already sorted it out anyway
which canterbury one have you applied to? maybe if you email her and ask if its possible to go later as you have a long way to come? (although is it just an interview time or a whole day thing?) i did that with an interview for one of my unis and they changed it for me. although my liverpool one i had to be there at 10am for and i live south of london lol
My second lesson was cancelled, but I didn't really feel like going shopping (plus I don't have the money) so I stayed at college, got break, read the metro, then read my book for the next three hours. Was actually quite nice.
Physics was totally pointless, I just filled out forms for tv audiences because he let us loose on the computers. My friend informed me that she had a spare ticket to the eviction of celebrity hijack so I jumped on the bandwagon :p
My mum's threatening to take away my internet 'priveleges' away from me, so if you don't see me on here for a while, that's why. I'm going to make a study plan to keep her happy for the time being...I don't think she gets that I'm not as clever as my sister  I can't wait to go to Uni.
Sometime this week or next I'm going to hunt for a Saturday job. My friend's quitting hers so I might go along to that shop.
I've just watched open water it's such a depressing film...:(
And CrazyLeaaa where are you :p I'm disappointed we were meant to be watching hunky Luke Roberts on the weakest link :p :p
His girlfriend knows he's been seeing other girls, she just chooses to ignore it. Its not really my problem if she's in denial. That sounds selfish but she knows what he's been upto and if she's not going to do anything about it then thats her lookout.
I haven't spoken to him for a few days. I am having second thoughts about what we're doing.
As for the old lad... he's turning into a stalker. He just won't leave me alone, he keeps texting me during the night asking to meet up to talk. I've tried ignoring him but he won't give up. I'm just worried that when we meet up next in our group he's going to make it awkward.
It's at Broadstairs. I'm not sure if its an all day thing or just an interview, the letter just says an interview. I have to have a CRB check as well, I don't know if I do that on the day or they send me the forms through the post.
I've emailed the woman with my contact details and she said she will ring me to arrange a time for my interview.
Have had a crap day...got soaked in the rain twice and got a **** grade back for some coursework!
I saw police on horses going down the road to my college today. It was really random I've never seen them about, they normally just have a mobile cctv unit or a couple of policemen.
We're dissecting a sheep heart tommorow in Biology...:cartman: :p
Im revising, and it is sooooo boring it is unreal. Starving as well should probably think about puttin some food on the go.
I wish I was in your class. I love dissecting things. I'm usually first in with the scalpel :D We've done pig's heart, kidney, lungs and a fish.
The fish was good, we had to take the swim bladder out without popping it. I filleted mine afterwards and took the spine out.
Got an information pack from Canterbury today. I've decided not to go to the interview and sack that course but still go for the other course there which doesn't require an interview.
My niece has got a baby tortoise. She's called it everything from Casper to Scooby Doo :rotfl: It's her baby sister.
This is the first dissection I've done we never did them in school...once the class before us were doing fish. The smell...I think the fish they were given were a bit off
I want a tortoise :p I was going to get one but they were so expensive! Like £245  Then I went to Poland and they were £70...
I was sick when we did a disection in school, it was horrible.
I know I just could not do it, never had to, I am so relieved.
Had a good day, bit achy now as I have just had my first lesson in belly dancing, it was good fun though.
Yes, it is 2 minutes from my home and only costs me £21 per month with one lesson per week, so I am well pleased.
Thats a good price as well ! :)
had a mixed day today. it started off bad, i had a seminar at 11 and didnt wake up til 10 and seeing as i should really get the 10.05 bus to get me there on time that wasnt a good start! managed (somehow!) to shower and everything in 15mins so i was able to get the 10.20 bus and just managed to get there on time! plus it was really raining and the wind was so strong i actually nearly got blown away lol! but then it got better as i had a 4hr practical lesson and we are doing slapstick so we were learning how to do different rolls and dive over people and it was really fun! :D then went cheerleading and we are doing a competition so i cant wait. overall a busy day
We are in exam week so we don't actually start lectures till the 28th which is good but bad in a way as i am a bit bored. Id prefer to get back in to it.
